I have rented a car online and paid in full when I went to pick it up from jax airport road the girl" Jolene " asked to block some money from my CC, I said ok, then asked for insurance , so I provided her with my insurance that was created weeks ago, she put ristiction on mileage, blabla I was there for over an hire , while waiting to get a complete attention when she service client after another, finally she managed to make me not wanting the car and just got nothing but high blood pressure from such a behaviorI also have a very clean driving record, never got a ticket or been into an accident and holding a class A CDL Will never deal with E-Z car rental again

I have rented from E-Z many times I picked up a full size car at the Orlando airport on 1/10/with a scheduled return on 1/15/ When I got in the car there was an unavoidable smell from someone smoking a pipe or vape Since I have allergies I returned to the rental agent who stated she didn't notice anything when the car was returned She said she only had a compact (which wasn't large enough for my party) and she would note the issue so I wouldn't be responsible and I would be fine I said no I wouldn't be fine I have allergies She just sat there and looked at me I asked what were my options and she said call later and see if they have a replacement There were may other cars in the lot she could have swapped the car but I am sure she knew she would have this problem again later so she did nothing for meI returned to the car and I also noticed the windows were covered in film from the smoke as wellI returned to her and tried to get the smaller car and was told it wasn't available and I would have to wait until a car was returned but she just processed a lot of cars and it may be a long wait until a car is available Well to no surprise later I had to call reservations as they do not have a phone number to call for problems I was transferred to the person who was supposed to handle these type of problems and I was put into voicemail and NEVER received a return callI had to drive a smelly car with the windows down all week and had to deal with the health issues with this all week I really didn't want to ride in the car but I had no choice E-Z LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE AS I WOULD NEVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN I couldn't wait to return home from my trip and wash everything that was in the car

Rent at your own risk! Reserved a car weeks ago just to learn when I picked up my car at the pick up time that they overbooked and had no car for me E-Z agent told me I would get a car from another company that would match my rate But when the other company found out they had no car that would match "E-Z Rent-A-Car" agent (that [redacted] used for my booking) refused to make it right for me like airlines would when they overbookedE-Z agent asked me to pay a higher price at the other company if I want to have a car, and suggested that alternatively I could wait hours for a possible car return [redacted] So, RENT CARS from [redacted] and "E-Z Rent-A-Car" AT YOUR OWN RISK! They did not tell you this upfront until you found out the hard wayYou don't know if you would get a car as they overbook to secure their revenue AT YOUR RISK AND EXPENSE What if other companies that they send their customers to in similar situation happen to be out of cars? I wouid have been stranded in a new city or force to book a car from other company on the spot at a very high priceI ended up paying the extra out of my pocket as I had no choice [redacted] WATCH OUT [redacted] and "E-Z Rent-A-Car" *** P.S My "E-Z Rent-A-Car" confirmation # is [redacted]

The worst company everI booked a car in October for our trip in DecemberI received the conformation emailI had sent and email to reservations just to be sure on my total because on the conformation it said estimated total $I wanted to be sure that when I got the counter it wouldn't be $because of my age or any hidden feesSo I sent the email stating I was just emailing to check on my total would be so I would be prepared on what I would be spendingThey emailed me about staying that it would be $167.67, unless I added on any extra's when I got the counterWhen you book on the website it asks for your age, I put in 21-since I am and then it readjusts the prices for your ageI printed the email out from them just incase I had any trouble at the counter when I arrivedWe arrived in Orlando and had to wait in the line for about minutes before we even got to the counter, I finally get to the counter and give them my reservations, license and credit cardHe asks us what car to choose from I just tell him the smallest is fineThen he tells me its going to be $I am in complete shock, he tells me its $a day because I'm years oldI pull out the emails and show him that I sent one asking if this was going to happen and they ensured me it wouldn't, I also explain when you book the reservation it asks for your age and adjusts the price The second he realized I was no longer happy, Mohamed became extremely rude to usHe tells me that the email doesn't mean anything and this is the priceIts not 10:at night, we have no real choice since its near christmas and everything is going to be this price now since we don't have a reservationWe get to the car and it looks like it hasn't been washed in months, I couldn't even see out of the window it was so dirty, it had a scratch on every single corner of the thingI tried to forget about it till we got back and just enjoy my vacation but it was hard since the rental car ended up costing me $more than I was expecting to pay, We return the car and I get the final bill and realize we got charged $for an upgradeI can't even believe it, as far as I saw it we got the crappiest car out thereI have tried to contact them times since and not a single person has responded to meI can't believe the rip off!

I rented a car through E-Z rent a car and went through [redacted] in Washington DC at the Reagan airportI am used to someone checking out the car with me, but they didn't do thatI checked out the car, but didn't see anytingI drove out of the lot and within seconds the car was dragging something underneath the front bumper which made a terrible loud soundAt this point I was driving mph, from the very beginningI turned around and drove back into the lotThe manager said, I damaged the splash guard and they would have to take it into the shop to check it out underneath to look for further damagesI told them that I didn't do this, that I drove 5mph and never hit anything and was back within minutesI got a different cartwo weeks later, I get an email to pay $or to send my insurance information

I have had a very negative experience with this companyNot only was the car I was stuck with old and in need of repair at full charge midsize level (approxChevy Impala), but I was informed I would get a receipt for total charges via email--this has not occurredI returned the vehicle on 11/5/2015, and today is 11/I think that is enough time to produce a receiptI was recently charged for tolls to my credit card, after I already paid $for the EZ tollSo I went through maybe or standard tolls---they were not $per toll! So I pay for the toll pass, and then pay a completely unknown extra charge for the tolls separately? What is the point of getting the toll pass exactly? I have been on hold with the Miami airport office for minutes, and have not spoken to even one personIt was immediately put on hold without a single word!! What kind of customer service is this? The worst kind, that is what it isShame on this business for it's behavior

I barely review businesses, but I feel I need to warn unsuspecting victims in this caseThe customer service is horrible The reps are not very helpful and rudeThey provide contradicting information to customers as well I rent cars when I travel and this is the first time I used EZThis is also the first time the low tire pressure warning turned on and the car did not come with a full tank of gasThis shows that they do not maintain their cars like reputable car rental companies are expected to Contrary to what I was told by the rep at the LAX office, a $hold was placed on my Credit Card and they would not provide authorization to my credit card company to release the holdThis charge is more than 20% of my overall credit limit which can negatively affect my credit scoreI spoke with a manager (I think her name is P [redacted] or something similar)She was rude and disrespectful and later hung up on me Horrible experience overall

I rented from E-Z Rent-A-Car on a trip to FtLauderdale not long ago and upon arrival I was asked for proof of insurance which I gladly called my current provider and got the information faxed to themIn addition to my current insurance I had purchased insurance for that specific trip and car rental through the website I rentedWhen at the desk to my surprise I was told by the agent that the insurance I had obtained at the time of purchase would not be acceptedLeading me to purchase another insurance policy through them for the rentalI ended paying twice for insurance during this trip and the company has not done anything to make this right, even after multiple attempts to contact themThey responded to one email but never addressed the situation regarding the insurance paymentsThey dismissed my complaint and did not try to correct the situation

I had a great experience with my whole rental process until I returned a vehicle on 7/6/ I rented a white Toyota Sienna and it was a nice clean vehicle and the staff was friendly and helpful on the day of checkoutI live in colorado spings and my rep was informative and let me know about the 150/day mileage limit and other info that I was unaware ofFor the duration of the rental, I had the keys to the Sienna attached to a inch blue hook ring, along with the smart key to my personal vehicle My wife and I drove her car back home to Colorado Springs and I then realized that I left the key to my personal car hooked to the bright blue key ring in the ignition of the vehicle we had just rented I called back and the staff stated that the vehicle was still on the lot and placed me on hold to lookTwo different men came back to say they would check One told me that he did not see the ring I realize this may be a matter of my word verses his, but I find it disturbing because I

I rented a car from Atlanta airport on December 2, Upon arriving, no car was available, and was told I would have to wait at least an hour for a car to be available because the location did not have any cars available I was travelling with a small child, so this was not an acceptable solution, and I had prepaid for my rental Because I needed a car immediately, I had to walk over to another rental car counter and rent a car from another company, for another $out of pocket The demeanor of the people working at the rental car counter suggested that this was routine procedure for this company These are third rate business practices, and this company should be shut down for fraud

I assumed that E-Z car was a business that took customer service seriously but I found out that is not the case I rented a car in Las Vegas an upon return, my husband left his cell phone in the car As soon as we arrived at the airport via the E-Z car shuttle I started calling to get the phone returned After about calls and no return call we started calling the phone I am sure by mistake the phone was answered and I listened to the rental clerks doing their business and typing on the computerI could then track the phone to guess whereE-Z Car Rental After about minutes the mistake was realized and the phone was turned off I have since called several more times and once again no returned call I then called first thing in the morning and finally got someone of the phone The very rude man said he would check lost and found and was off the phone for maybe seconds and returns to the call and stated that they didn't have the phone., I told him I tracked the phone there and he said he would have a manager call me Well, no calls were ever returned and the phone was never returned I would not accuse anyone if I were not certainbut I am certain the one of the employees of the Las Vegas Agency is a thief and rather than do the right thing they kept the phone for themselves The phone had very important medical information regarding my husband and we should not have to worry about a business stealing a phone E-Z car has shown to be a business that cannot be trusted and everyone should take their business to someone that deserves it

I recently rented a car from EZ Car Rental because it was the best offer I could find For an day agreement (picked up at Austin Airport) the cost would be a little over $In addition I obtained liability insurance for an additional $with the booking company When I arrived to pick up my car I was received with an "you've arrived late, we don't have your car" Of course they had other cars to offer but that would be nearly $more! Of the several cars (around 5) they offered had expired tags! So of course the more expensive ones were available for about $moreOn top of this they said I had to get additional insurance because what I had purchased wouldn't be enough if I got into a serious accident and totaled the car or anotherI was badgered and felt coerced to purchase addtional insurance and pay extra for a crappy car (Kia) and ended paying $1044.00!!!!!! Double the original cost and more than the round trip tickets I bought! EZ uses scare tactics, takes advantage of customers who have been travelling for more than hours and are exhausted and have a lousy selection of cars, most with expired tags, dirty and banged up I will NEVER us EZ or Advantage again (and I travel several times a year) no matter how good the offer is

Reserved a car online, but when we got the place at Dallas airport we were told that no car is available, and they had no way to solve it

Easily the worst experience renting a car in over years of renting carsThis company will try to rip you off at every pointI should have heeded the warning of the customer in front of me who was having a similarly terrible experienceBecause my reservation at another company was cancelled due to a flight delay, I was forced to rent from E-ZWhen I asked for a quote for how much the car would be, the agent secretly included the insurance in the rate (even though I explicitly said I didn't want it)Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until after leaving the siteWhen I called to talk to a manager, they refused to tell me the manager's nameSo I had to drive back, eventually got someone who said they were a manager to fix the insurance issue (although it took minutes)For my trouble, I asked to return the car with a half full gas tank rather than three-quarters fullThen, when I returned the car half full, the person checking me in said no problem and that I didn't need an additional receiptA few days later the company emails me a receipt with an additional $refueling feeI tried several times to call and talk to a manager, but for some reason one is never around even during business hoursVery shady companyRent from a major company that has cars at the airport rather than offsite

When renting van I was told that there was addtional charge of $for incedentals but was charge 61.03.Was not told that charge was for extra driver so when I call customer service she was very rude.So this isthmus last time I will rent from your company

We rented a car from here and as the salesman went through our reservation asked us if we would like insurance or collision damage and we declinedHe then added it to our agreementHe told us to sign and it was everything we agreed upon, but when we looked back the damage collision was added and we were charged for itHe did it to the group behind us as wellThey are adding charges to the agreement after the customers have declinedWhen I called the manager regarding the employee I was told they work on commission and if the agreement is signed nothing will be doneThis is dishonest and a scam for more money

This is hands down the absolute worse experience I have ever had renting a car
After traveling about an hour on the train to pick up the vehicle, I arrive at E-Z Rent-A-CarI show my in-state driver's license to the guy at the counterHe proceeds to tell me that since I have a in-state driver's license I cannot rent the vehicle with unlimited miles and I cannot travel to the out of state destination I was heading to because they don't have a presence there
He stated a lot of people complain about thisApparently this company is only for people visiting the state of Georgia and driving locally but that vital piece of info is buried somewhere in the terms and conditions and not on the front page or even on your confirmation sheet
Also I found a lot of complaints about hidden feesBeware of the no refund policy when they ask you to pay now to "lock in the price"Thank God I didn't do thatSomehow I found the company on another site where you can reserve and pay when you get there
