Enterprise
Rent A Car is not the proper party to this complaint. The loss occurred in
California. The driver of the rental vehicle is primary in California. 
The rental car driver’s insurance carrier American Access Casualty Company has
coverage for this loss. American Access Casualty...

Company confirmed handling of
the claim in June 2015 and that is the company that has been in communication
with the complainant re: the claim.  Per the complainant’s insurance
carrier GEICO, American Access Casualty is disputing liability and because of
that dispute, GEICO has not refunded their insured’s deductible. This complaint
references concerns regarding the communication from the carrier and it
requests $1000 for deductible paid. That should be directed to American Access
Company.

spoke to this customer the day after he filed  this complaint
(7/22/16) and refunded the amount he was disputing.

She called me back and we discussed the issue and worked everything out. I offered her a free day on her next rental and she was happy with that.   [redacted]...

We have reached out the renter by phone and have explained to her what she thought was an additional scratch in the photo that was sent to her.  The additional marking was a mark that the body shop had made on the panel to identify the area of damage that needed to be...

repaired.  It was not an additional scratch.  Customer was appreciative of the clarification and understands now.

complaint.  Ms. [redacted] currently owes a
balance of $551.54 for a prior rental with our company that was not paid.  We are not currently pursuing the balance
with a collection agency, but it will need to be satisfied before Ms. [redacted]...

rent another vehicle.  We would be happy
to speak to Ms. [redacted] and arrange a reasonable payment plan for this balance if
she wishes.
We apologize for the confusion about her prepaid car
reservation and will promptly refund the additional $10 she has requested.

I'm not quite sure what the "rejection" of my last correspondence means...I looked into the file again just now and on Friday 4/24 a refund was issued in the amount of $43.27, which seems to relate to the amount requested; so I can surmise that the managers I forwarded this to, had already begun to look into this, and worked to resolve this.    I usually allow more time to await their full response however this seems in line with the request in this email chain, therefore I believe this should close this inquiry.     Let me know if there's anything more needed on this to help.  Thanks, [redacted]

I would like to get a vehicle.  After all we've been through, we still need a vehicle.

Mr. Daniel G[redacted] (Big Island Area Rental Manger) did an exceptional job of resolving this issue. His help and professionalism are very much appreciated. He carefully read the details of my complaint and expressed regret for the poor service. He indicated that there would be no charge for the SUV rental and that my wife's name will be removed from the "do not rent to" list of Enterprise.  This high quality of service is what I had always experienced - until the rudeness of the agent at  the Kona rental office - when doing business with Enterprise.

This issue has been resolved.    Enterprise Holdings has reached out to the collection agency to ensure the customer's name has been removed from any listing and confirm the debt has been settled.

We called and spoke to Mr. [redacted].  We have been able to resolve this matter with Mr. [redacted].  We have closed the damage claim and will no longer will be pursuing him further.
