I met Kraig from Earthkare Landscaping at a presentation he gave at my Real Estate OfficeI had a big water issue at the side of my house which caused me to get standing water in my basement if I lost power and my sump pump didn't work during significant rainfallsWhile waterproofing and back up sump pumps helped, they didn't really solve the problem I decided to talk to Kraig about it After several free consultations, Earthcare produced a plan to correct the improper grading and provide me with a solution to my problem.They came in and reset my window well, re-graded the air conditioner platform, added lots of quality topsoil, re-graded again and reseeded the entire area Now during even the heaviest rain storms, the water flows away from my house and is disperses into the front yard just as the plan called for Kraig is prompt, courteous qualified and honestI would definitely use him again or refer him for any landscaping project

He convinced me to give him a job though I was on the brink of signing with another landscaper, and the next day after signing the contract I received this:
Earthkare cannot honor the contract as it was originally understood. I have decided not to go forward with the Landscaping Project for the following reasons:
1. To utilize a paver border around the stepping stones to hold them does require metal spikes to go deep into the ground.It was my original intention to tamp the area underneath the stones to hold them in place in a dirt inset with the grasses taking hold over time, but with the area being small and the requirement to loosen 1 foot of soil requires more work and thus more money.

Everything went really well! We selected Kraig from other vendors based on his personal attentiveness to what we wanted, his care and concern over what we needed, and how eager he was to work with us. It was a small project, so to see that kind of enthusiasm as nice. We traded emails and texts leading up to the installation whereby he consulted us on styles, plant-types, stone and care. He came out twice for an initial meeting and then a scout of the space after we had larger trees/shrubs removed. He also called the evening after the installation and was helpful in giving us tips. He even came out once more to give the new plants and shrubs a good watering since we were heading out of town. Great guy, great service!

Kraig and Tep took care of our grading and water pooling issue in our backyard during the summer of 2015. They knocked out the job in about a week, and our drainage/grading issue in our backyard is no longer an issue! When they were done with the job they reseeded our lawn that was impacted by the work and replaced the fence that they had to take out in order to perform the job. During the Spring of 2016 Kraig followed up and checked on the project to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and came through on his promise of reseeding spots that might require some additional work, since the initial seeding took place during a dry spell of the prior summer. Overall they did a great job, and I would recommend Earthkare to any future customers.
