I spoke to Mr [redacted] yesterdayWhat he forgot to mention is that we had the vehicle advertised for $9995, and he only paid $(almost $discount), the vehicle is a (years old) and was sold with days/miles PowerTrain Warranty Only, and AutoEastern Nissan kindly offers a hours Return Policy, no questions asked. After Mr [redacted] and his son test drove the vehicle, the only issue they found was one of the vents was stuck, which I offer to repair at no cost to Mr [redacted] , I personally asked him to bring the vehicle the next dayNeither him or his son Christopher mentioned anything else (the gear shift was not loose at time of delivery, driving habits may cause vehicles/parts to breakdown)Our multi-point inspection DID NOT miss any issues, they happened days later while being in their possession.Unfortunately, our Return Policy does not cover vehicles hours later.I did tell Mr [redacted] I would contact my superiors and see what could be worked out to help resolve the problem but at no time I gave him a time frame of one hour. After getting permission from my superiors, in my phone call to Mr [redacted] , I offered him to pay for half of the repair, which he happily agreed and said he would see when his son can bring the vehicle over for repairI pointed out that if he continues to drive the vehicle without the necessary repairs, other issues may arise and we will not be responsible unless is under the PowerTrain WarrantyI haven't heard from him yet, my Service Department has not received any calls from him or his son neither. If I can be of any other assistance, please feel free to contact me

Review: On September 7, 2015 I entered the Nissan Dealership located on 340 Sylvan Avenue (RT9W) Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632.Salesperson Victor V created a contract for a new 2015 Nissan Rogue. I drove off the lot with a 20 day Nonresidential temporary plate, I am a ** resident. The temporary plates expired on September 26, 2015. I contacted the dealership on September 24,2015 regarding the expiration date of the plate. I was transferred multiple times before I could speak to a sales representative. When I did speak to a salesperson Victor advised that it was okay and if I received a ticket then the dealership will pay, however by ** state law the vehicle can not be on the road without valid documentation. They are blaming DMV for the delay however, I called the [redacted], NJ DMV and they stated they are not backed up in paper work. This now requires storage fees for the vehicle? The dealership did not offer to renew the temporary plates because I live in ** state. I am now incurring storage fees and tolls money to seek plates when they do become available. Now am left temporarily without a vehicle and incurring fees. How can this be resolved.Desired Settlement: Finish the job and reimburse for any out of pockets expenses such as gas, and tolls, applicable storages fees.

Response:

In regards to the complaint, on Sat., Sept. 26th around 11am, Ms. [redacted] along with [redacted], another customer that purchased a vehicle, both came in for a second 20 Day Non-Resident temporary plate. Ms. [redacted]'s first temporary plate did not expire until Sept. 27th., but because she lives in [redacted] and because we are not open on Sundays, I went over and beyond to issue her another 20 Day Non-Resident temp. So the part with the storage fees, her being left without a vehicle, and so forth is UNTRUE. I even have the proof of issuing her another temporary plate and a copy of her first temporary plate which shows the expiration date of Sept. 27, 2015.

Response:

Review: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Communications were made regarding the first non-residental plate that expired on September 26, 2015. See attached photo. Phone calls had been placed regarding a second plate because the expiration date was on a Saturday and business was closed on Sunday. Poor communications from the dealership not even advising how long the registration would take for out of town plates even until this day. The dealership should have known about the delay and already have had a second plates ready for me. I do live out of state and telling me to get a ticket was not acceptable to me at the time, hence the Revdex.com complaint. [redacted] and I requested responses reqarding the status of the plates and DID receive the run around (delay at DMV). Gloria - finance manager was not even involved at the times of calls the calls to the dealership inquiring about the plates or for the re-issuing of plate for her to go over and beyond. Secondly, over and beyond is what is required after purchasing a 26k vehicle and the paper work whether at the bank or the DMV is not yet in order after 20 days? If I did not receive the secondary plate on Saturday September 27, 2015, then YES I would have had to place the car in storage according to ** State road laws. That is what the claim stated not that I did place it in storage and was looking for reimbursement. Gloria left a message accusing me of false claims without speaking to me. I had not spoken to her since September 8 when she requested the title for the other trade in vehicle. Therefore, I am being called a liar based on my experience and lack of service? As of today, October 2, I may have another temporary plate that will expire October 15 however the dealership has not called to even indicate what the delay is for and when to expect the paperwork. I guess I will have to pay another $14 toll for the bridge to retrieve the registration or another temp plate when that time comes? But I guess these little expenses will continue to come out of my personal budget after signing a contract with Auto Nission of Eastern , and dont complain about it? Is this justifiable? ** DMV would have already issued the documentation for both vehicles. What is the status of the registration? How much longer? No customer service (yet indicate over and beyond). If the service was good from start to finish the claim would not be placed. The bank note is due 10/22 and still worried about registration. How will this be resolved? Regards,[redacted]

My name is Robert C, I am the General Sales Manager at AutoEastern Nissan of Englewood Cliffs N.J. I received a copy of your email addressed to [redacted] (she does not work for AutoEastern Nissan of Englewood Cliffs). I wanted to immediately answer your letter. I started working at AutoEastern Nissan of Englewood Cliffs on October 4th, 2015. I became aware of Ms. [redacted]’s issue shortly thereafter. I personally spoke with Ms. [redacted] on the telephone and invited her in to the Dealership to resolve the issue so she could continue to drive and park her vehicle safely in [redacted] (as well as anywhere else). Ms. [redacted] came in and has been issued a temporary registration for her vehicle so she could continue to drive her car while I resolved the issues involving her Motor Vehicle work. Ms. [redacted]’s Motor Vehicle issues have been resolved and the correct paperwork has been submitted to [redacted] Department of Motor Vehicles and will be completed shortly. I have no problem reimbursing Ms. [redacted] ONE $14.00 fee for the toll when she picks up her License Plates and Registration. I will need the toll receipt and Ms. [redacted] must pay the dealership her outstanding balance due. Please feel free to contact me directly if you need any additional information, I can advise you when the Motor Vehicle work is complete for Ms. [redacted] if you like. Respectfully Robert C General Sales Manager AutoEastern Nissan of Englewood Cliffs N.J. [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However to be noted that a an incomplete business transaction mileage fees at 57.5 cents for 8.3 miles should also be included. Wasting my time and taking time off work for inconsistancies. In addition, a registration of plates/transfer. Incorrect usage of words as if the dealership was getting new plates for the Rogue in fact that was not the transaction of paperwork. Leaving me message of an untrue balance owed for two vehicles when I only owe fees for one vehicle. sounded threatening about the about funds that [redacted] owed to the dealership.I also will be opening another claim under a different case because the Auto loan still has not been paid to this date. I have been given the run around regarding the payoff check being sent to [redacted]. As it stands [redacted] is charging me a $25.00 late fee that the dealership now owes me including a letter to the CREDIT AGENCY to disregard any late payment infractions to my credit score that will be pending this month. This is a travesty!. Im responsible for 13k that I no longer own. With no response and lack of efforts from this dealership and everything seems like they are do you a favor by cleaning up their own mess.

Review: I was traveling through New Jersey when I had a tire failure after having my new tires for less than 11,000 miles and less than 6 months. I went to East Coast VW because they were the closest VW dealer (I originally bought the tires at another VW Dealer because of the road hazard insurance included). When I called they said they were a certified VW Dealer and they had the tire in stock.

When I got there and after they were replacing my tire, they informed me that they were not going to honor the warranty and I would have to go the tire manufacturer, which is not what their own website says.Desired Settlement: Because this is a VW dealership, and they advertise the tire warranty on their website, I believe I should be refunded the full cost of the tire and installation.

the car is leased from this dealer, I came in for service on 8/29/2015 because my car's ac was making noise. first off the service writer told me that he will not be able to take care of it that day and I would have to make an appointment, I said ok, and that I could only come in on weekend only, he told me that it is not possible because they don't do this kind of work on weekends. this is a leased car under warranty, obviously this is not my fault that the a/c unit is making noise. I was willing to work with they guy, and told him that I need a car, and was willing to drop the car off if I got a loaner. long story short, the service writer asked me for my name to see if I was there before. he punched up my name and told me - oh yeah you gave me a bad review last time you were here. I told him - yes I did because you were rude and didn't take care of my car, after which he told me that I should go to a different dealer if I want my car service. this guy was not interested in fixing his last mistake and maybe get my bad experience and opinion of this dealership reversed and get me as a loyal customer of nissan. obviously, this guy could care less about me as a customer and my satisfaction. I didn't think that nissan as a company could care less about their customers. a really like the car, and was thinking about getting another one when my lease was up, but after this experience with the service department at East Coast Nissan in Englewood Cliffs, NJ I will not get another nissan ever again, neither for me, nor for anyone of my family members.

Review: My wife recently received a letter from SiriusXM Radio congratulating her on a 2015 Nissan Rogue and her 3 month free trial. The problem is my wife and I never purchased this vehicle. On December 30th we were at this dealership test driving a pathfinder. Then on January 4th this letter was sent out as if a sale occurred. Nissan must have put my wives information into their computers with a made-up email address (fraud). This information must have been accidentally been sent to SiriusXM. After several days of trying to resolve this issue an investigation by nissan headquarters determined no vehicle was purchased and this was an accident. My biggest complaint is this practice of making up emails and putting information (address, phone number) after a test drive into the computers and keeping it there. As a result I spent several days trying to solve this problem to ensure to identify was stolen from my wife. On top of that Nissan of Englewood was nearly impossible to get into contact with. Their number on the web-page is for nissan of Paramus and other numbers sent you to Volkswagon. I hope this mix up and confusion does not occur to anyone else. The inconvenience and stress is unwarranted and the practice of making up a fake email is a pure example of FRAUD!Desired Settlement: It would be nice for Nissan to provide us a 1 year plan for a service such as LifeLock to ensure our protection of our identity. I am taking the word of Nissan of Englewood and Nissan North America that no vehicle of the assigned vin # attached with my wife's name is sold in her name. It would also be nice for them to waive my turn in fee of $419.00 for my previous nissan as a token of "we are sorry" for the inconvenience we caused.
