Every on line book rental site I have used ALWAYS emails you to notify you when your rentals are due back, and have always allowed you to extend the time for only a couple more dollarsEcampus does not email you to remind you that your textbook is due back, they just charge you the full amount and email you after the factMy rental was days late, only days, and they charged me the full amount without warning and said that once the book is returned, with in a certain time frame, they would only refund me 50% of the charge and it would take almost a week to do soObviously, I am a student, and live pay check to pay check, so having nearly $taken out of my bank account with out warning and with no real solution is a huge blow to my livelihoodThe only reason to not notify someone of an upcoming rental return is to hope to be able to be shady and swindle people out of more money for books that are already over pricedFrom reading the other comments, makes me wonder if I will even receive the 50% refund that was promised

Purchased book on December 21st (order #7983598) they stated they had in stock - NINE DAYS LATER, yes, NINE DAYS LATER they email me saying they don't have the item and cancel the order If that wasn't bad enough, they then tell me it will be another TEN DAYS (business days) for me to get my refund They are unprofessional and I will never do business with them or bookfinder.com again - how can they be trusted?

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Ordered my book on 8/and paid two day shipping NO BOOK!! NO TRACKING NUMBER!! Contacted them several times and now I tried to cancel the order completely and was told its prepared for shipping and too late to cancel I have to return it when I get it!! I better get reimbursed the shipping charges as well!!

I have tried on numerous occasions to reach the executive offices It a,ways goes back to the onli e customer service and they are not at liberty to give any information So how does one contact the executive offices with a complaint oquestion when CS on line will not answer the question?

Ecampus provides awful customer supportI had an issue with a buyback and they ended up never paying me for two books I sent to themThey claimed that they were damaged and would not send them back to meThey wanted to charge me $per book to ship back, but the books were worth about a couple bucks each so obviously I would be a fool to accept thatThe books I sent in were not damaged and any attempt to discuss my issue with the company led to a representative sending me repetitive information in pre written responseThere was absolutely no real attempt to solve my problemI will not be doing business with them again

I just ordered books and after all the bad Delivery reviews I am terrified to have a bad experienceplease I beg you guys to get it together and have my books online I have assignments due next week and I can't afford to be out money or wait on Refunds....How have you guys fixed these shipping issues

My daughter started college and she needed a textbook not available in our area I found a used one on ecampus.com and their website advertised they had it in stock and it would ship within hours days later(today) I called and asked them why it has not shipped? [redacted] the customer service rep told me because they do not have the book and it will be at least weeks before they can get one! I thought it was illegal to advertise and sell ( they charged my credit card) something you do not have??

I ordered my books through this company because unfortunately my school uses them as their virtual libraryI ordered my books on the 3rd of January and here we are and I still haven't received them!!!! I have called multiple times and the customer service is next to ZERO! I was told to just keep waiting even though the tracking clearly states that there is an issue, they refuse to fix the situationThis company is interested in nothing but taking students money! This company should be rated an F on Revdex.com for such poor business practices and customer service

This company is horrible They take your order, charge your account and then cancel your order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then you cant get anyone on the telephone to confirm why this happened!

I don't know how eCampus is related to Bigger Books but my complaint is with Bigger Booksi placed a order on May and my book did not get to me until May After my class started and several assignment dueI went on their website under the contact me tab and sent to messages the first asking where my book wasThe second email I asked that my order be canceled because I order another oneInstead days after that email my book is shippedWhen I received the book and looked to see if I could return it the website is saying that I will be loosing dollars because of shipping and stockingThats not my problem this company should not have take my money out of my account if they knew the book was not in stockBetter yet, let customers know the book is not in stock and see if they are willing to wait or noti was not able to waitI am taking a summer school class that last five weeks so everything is face paced

I ordered a book for my wife who is attending law schoolEcampus said it was in stock and should be shipped immediatelyI used a PayPal account since I had already verified our "school" address with PayPal so there shouldn't be any issues such as credit card/address mismatchI then get a notice that some issues with the payment and my order was cancelled and I'd receive a refund in a few days
So I went to re-order the book when I received my refund and the price is now raised $over the previous amountI couldn't re-order sooner as I only had one bank account tied to the PayPal accountSo now school has already started, my wife still doesn't have the book and the campus store is out of themWay to go eCampus!!!
I have had numerous things sent to our school address without issue; Amazon, eBay, etcand this company can't get it rightI think they just cancelled the order because they made a mistake on the price and were looking for anything to get outMy address here is a verified PayPal address! Stay away from this company!!!

I would seriously be careful when selling a book to A Book Company, LLC (eCampus.com)UPS confirmed delivery of a textbook (which was still in the shrink wrap) that I sold to A Book Company, LLC arrived: Wednesday, 04/27/at 10:A.M
But was not "checked in" by A Book Company, LLC until 04/29/I have emailed requesting updates on the processing status, only to be told it takes 2-weeks from check in dateWhy was it sitting for two days? And why in the world does it take 2-weeks to pay me for a product you verify that you have in your stock now?
They only reply with copy & paste emails so far; giving no details about your item sold to themThis firm is lacking
If you are a student that needs funds or details sooner than later then go with Amazon, Chegg, or a dozen others that I have NEVER had an issue withAnd that will pay you as soon as the item is "checked in"

While there is an ease with ordering and no shipping charges; customer service is almost an automated, no ability to act, serviceMy phone call resulted in no resolution and the same with e-mails; the same response is provided time after timeThey truly deserve a C rating

I was just charged over $for a rental (returned less than days late) that I found for less than $after ten seconds on GoogleThe charge was a joint rental and purchase fee, $for buying it and $for renting itUpon disputing the charge of over 3x the price of the book, they claimed to have refunded half of the price of the book(TBD), which is still charging me for significantly more than the book is worthI can't dispute the charges, but the fine print on this site is disastrous to the consumerI haven't found a book rental website that allows for so little tolerance of books being returned a few days late, especially considering it isn't counted as returned until they receive it, not when it's scanned for shippingOn top of this, while disputing charges with the customer service, they ended the live chat while I was checking numbers and figuring out what they were refunding for
Rather than a $late fee like every other site I've had dealings with, they charge you 3x what the book is worthRather than face problems, they end customer service communication as soon as you stop talkingI can't say I ever expected to call a book rental website immoral, but if any are, it's this one
