Bad installers, bad follow, just a money grab!
I spent tens of thousands with this company and I am still dealing with major issues 13 months post installation. The installers were inexperienced, I had to literally explain proper gapping and insulation as they wanted to just install the windows directly on the framing. One window is absolutely useless, I refused it as soon as I saw it but Ecoline refuses to do anything about it ($2000 window btw). So much spray foam was used on my main picture window that it pushed the siding off my home above the window. Again 13 months later the picture window in my living room still isn't installed plumb which is part of their guarantee under the warranty as well as install. Any service appointment will be filled with installers who have, at no exception, complained to me about how much less money they are making by fixing someone else's work.

once they get your money, you are on your own
When I initially talked to the sales person about my issues with other companies, she told me that you only have to call service/support and we will handle it, responsibly.

after 2 months, got the product, which then they requested full payment before they install. which I OBLIGED. they installed with the wrong measurements and damaged some of the existing trims. I immediately informed support and sales person.

after 2 months and 3 unreturned calls from both salesperson and support, still no update

Terrible Experience - Don't Use
Installation of 2 doors started Dec 9, 2022. Its now June 19, 2023 and the work is not complete. My wife did not realize that when she signed the quote she had agreed to pay the full cost up front, so we have no leverage to get attention. Initial install was missing key parts. I had to tape plastic over the gaps to ensure no snow got into the cracks left between the door frame and brick work. Returned Feb 21, March 10, and May 4 and the work is still not done.

TOTAL BUTCHERS
DO NOT RECOMMEND...Windows were replaced April 17 and April 18 2023. They have totally butchered and destroyed every window casing in my home. I did contact the project manager who did come to inspect but I was required to have an installer appointment booked. It is now May 6 2023 and my repairs have been canceled and a new appointment will have to be booked. In the meantime my home has been and still is in a state of disarray as furniture can not be put back in place and curtains rehung. I am also still waiting for my bill of sale which was supposed to be emailed to my 2 weeks ago. I recommend going elsewhere if you are considering using Ecoline Windows.

Same experience. Also notice that your service appointment is filled by installers who get paid a low wage to come do this work vs a great wage for installing as they get a portion of the job $$. I am still dealing with issues 13 months later and easily 100 hours in calls, emails and time spent at home during service appointments. I also have temporary curtains pinned to the wall..

Customer's Comments Re Ecoline Windows Group & Installation Service experience
Attention: President/Owner/Customer Service Head
I, Arun Dey, want to bring to the attention of the Owner and his executive team members of our experiences in dealing with our recent purchases and installations of of the windows and a storm door for home. Starting with your Sales team member, VLAD, who has done an excellent interactions with myself. Along with him, I would definitely recognize the following delivery and installation team members:
(1) Michael and supporting son for excellent work ethics and care they displayed for the delivery and installations of Ecoline windows and the door and (2) Nik and his son who equally delivered and installed the remaining Storm door finally after close to 6-months, and (3) your products mentioned above are excellent quality products indeed. I offer 5-*** (Stars) all of the above products and services we received and stated above.

Unfortunately, I have been totally frustrated in dealing with your customer services and the staff we dealt with, who primarily I assume, the key to your company's long term growth, procurement planning, clients' interactions and the services we expected. First of foremost, we signed the contract for all of the products noted above under one signed agreed contract at a price much higher that the other companies we solicited bids, following signing of the contract until the first crew who delivered and installed windows and the door, advised me that your Calgary Service manager wanted me to pay the balance of the contracted value (whereas we had paid 25% of the contract value at signing of the contract), including that of the STORM DOOR. I was told by delivery/installation crew head that he was specially advised by his service manager that he should not start the work until I paid and or confirmed with the person he got me connected on the phone. I spoke with her and she advised me that it was Ecoline's procedure! I said to her that I had no problem and agreed to pay full balance on the contract. Later that day, Michael, installation lead service provider, around 2 PM, he advised me that our STORM DOOR was not included on his delivery and installation packaged to be installed that day! I was surprised and shocking to say the least! I made several calls during the past several months to get a straight answers re when we would get our storm door past 6-months, communicated with your online chat services, spoke many consultants and office personnel. Finally a week or so ago, I received a call from customer service head that they could deliver and install our Storm Door! Your crew head Nik came yesterday, installed the storm door finally.

Again, as I stated at the very outset, I do not blame anyone within your company for such tardiness in managing your customers in light of pandemic! What I really expected a bit of trusting communications with me as your customers and fairness to share EColine's inability to perform procurement, delivery and installation timelines! Those in your offices across Canada who had some part to play in the execution of the contract signed with us could share their difficulties being experienced re the Storm door! Instead , it seemed to me that the process and clarity was absent from the very point of time our windows and door were installed. Had they been a bit more forthcoming to tell us the true facts of the problem at the very outset, leaving us in "DARK", I would not be writing to you this long explanation of my frustrations and that of my wife.

We are very happy indeed with the quality of your products installed at our home and installation crews' workmanship.

Thank you so much. Have a nice weekend!

new windows
our new windows look great. The only complaint is that the salesperson told us the windows would open far enough to clean outside, this was important as we have a two storey home. Sadly this is not the case. Also part of the seal is broken on one of the windows this was not noticed on the final inspection unless you looked closely easy to miss, 3 days and nobody has got back to us

New windows
Real happy with my windows that were installed today. Technicians Vlad and Igor did a great job! Windows work perfectly and look awesome. They were here early and completed three windows in about four hours including clean-up.

I'll be getting more windows from Ecoline in the future.

Thanks again

Eco Line Window install quality
Had windows installed recently and have some concerns over the quality of install, specifically fit and not being able to re-use trim due to different size of frame, which was not supposed to happen. Even more disappointing is lack of response. I have called twice to try and get a technician out to review my concerns and now 10 days on, no response. I have paid significant money for triple glaze windows and would expect a better service response. Based on my experience, I will not be a return customer of eco line windows nor will I recommend them.

Hello Miss [redacted] , As we have discussed this matter multiple times over the phone and in person with our inspector, we have installed your windows following the CSA guidelines Due to the fact the front of the house is finished with siding, whereas, the back is finished with stucco, it puts limitation as to how the exterior finishes can be done Please refer to the picture attached # 1, aluminum capping (white border) on the back of the house could be done so because there is stucco finish on the houseJ-trims on the front of the house (picture # and 3) are part of your original structure and were left, as such, intactSince Ecoline Windows is not a siding company, it cannot be held liable for your original j-trim or how they look before and/or after the installation [redacted] If you decide to take this further, please hire a licensed window inspector and have him perform all necessary examinations, moreover, a written report must be forwarded to our email, which is [redacted] If the inspector finds that windows are indeed too small, Ecoline windows will rectify any shortcomingIf you do decide to go with window inspector, you should notify us in writing about the date and time of that appointment, so we can send our inspector and installer as well, otherwise, the report will not be considered validThe way we stand right now, everything has been done up to the contract, signed between yourself and Ecoline windows on June 7th, and there are no outstanding WINDOW issues

Ecoline Windows installed total of windows for Mrand Mrs*** on February 3rd, Mr*** was at home at the time of the walk through at the end of the installation and had acknowledged that there were no issues found. Mr*** released the final payment upon the completion of the

We are willing to have the technician come back, bring buffing machine (not the sander) with the special buffing compound to restore the original glossiness of the vinyl components in question Please respond to indicate if you would like to have a service appointment scheduled with a service technician?

Hello Mrs. [redacted], Thank you for a copy of the report.  Even though you did not notify us about the appointment with a home inspector, as requested in our original response, Ecoline windows is going to rectify the outlined window sealant issues. On the 3 front windows we will seal up exposed areas to protect your home from water infiltration. On the 4 rear windows, we will remove old sealants and a proper elastomeric sealant will be used as flashing. Please call our office at [redacted] between 8 am and 4 pm to set an appointment up. Thank you.
