Robbed by the staff
If you enjoy being safe and keeping your things. I advise not staying here until they find different staff. 5-10 of us we robbed by an employee. Cops had to be involved.

Our room was triple booked so someone before us was assigned to this room. Then the room was supposedly cleaned (it was empty) and we were booked there (we didn't know) got keys put our stuff in the room and left. Came back a bit later to someone else sleeping in our room and my stuff and the original guys things were all gone.

Other guests things were out in the hallway in garbage bags. Guests I'm sure that had no idea yet. But our things were completely gone. Couldn't get ahold of the housekeeper afterwards. Ended up sleeping in my car till the cops showed up bc we had no room... paid for one... then about 5am we got put in their maintenance room!
For your safety and piece of mind please choose a different hotel. This experience was traumatizing.

Stay away from the ECONOLODGE IN PIGEON FORGE TN OM MILL CREEEK ROAD
They have turned it into worst than a dive. They took out all carpets because apparently they couldn't keep them clean so the floor is extremely slippery if your wet. The tub in the first room leaked so bad it literally flooded the half the floor. After finally getting them to come look I was transferred to another room upstairs. I requested a quiet room should of known better and they were far from full. This was booked four nights by my boss so I was kinda stuck. The next morning after the change at 9:30 in the morning I get a knock on the door it is housekeeping. After telling her NO I'm good three times she lets herself in my room while I was in the middle of getting dressed. Then the next morning I watched her as soon as I left the room she made a beeline for my room and was in there messing. I refused to leave anything in this room I knew it would not be safe. When I wanted to talk to mangement about it the girl was either sick or asleep at the desk. I had to try to jimmy the door with a chair to feel safe there was not even the second lock on the door. They kept someone next door to me usually people with kids and loud. So no work got done. They have no internet that works.

Where do I begin. When arriving at 11:30 pm ... there was people loitering in the parking area and on the front entrance. Someone was crawling into a hotel window that was broken out. Trash in the parking lot. Front door was locked and we had to knock for someone to let us in.

When arriving in the room the carpet and upholstrey on the chair was stained so bad that I wouldnt put any of my suitcases on the chair or sit on it. The bath tub was dirty and had a dead bug in the tub and one the floor under the sink. The spare toilet paper roll had a musty looking mold on it and smelled of must. The hair dryer cord was covered with a sticky substance and had hair sticking to it. After arguing with my boyfriend about staying that this place...I agreed to lay on the bed... but I kept my clothes and shoes on. No way was I taking my shoes off and walking on the floor of this room. After trying to sleep for an hour we decided to get up and leave. I would like to ask for a full refund for this room. This hotel needs major remodeling or it should be shut down.

Stayed at EL in Manchester NH last w my significant other and my canine.
Never told or given any opportunity to read about an additional $100.00 deposit you require for my dog yet you incorrectly simultaneously refer to yourselves as a "PET FRIENDLY " locale

I've never in my life been asked for such a thing by any entity aside from EL.

That concept itself not pet friendly in any remote shape or form...nor is the additional untold of $20.00 flat rate FEE for my beloved furry friends mere presence at your place of business.

In fact punishing your guests w untold of
non refundable flat fees and triple digit deposits is anything but pet friendly...
...
in reality ?
It's you doing all you possibly can to upsell your guests while increasing margins and discourage the presence of pets completely by adding a tariff of your choosing

And while the entire free world agrees w what I just said it's certainly not illegal but just plain old bad business.

That aside...I had made arrangements to travel to Lewiston ME today to purchase an automobile that I desperately require to get myself to and from work among other things.
When your frt desk clerk informed me of the $20 fee incurred for my animal but not advertised yet mandated I had no response aside from a new terrible opinion of your policy and your shady business practices

I was then made aware of the obligatory $100 "pet friendly" deposit mandate ... to which I instantaneously then inquired IN PERFECTLY CLEAR RHETORIC how promptly said deposit will refunded back my card knowing full well that if for some reason I were to not get it returned to my acct immediately my automobile transaction would be derailed leaving myself and my dependents equally derailed to a reckless level in a very bad position.

"How quickly do you get that deposit returned back onto my card as I need to have it in order to purchase a car tomorrow and CANNOT wait for a
mass corporate batch transfer process that is not acceptable "

Your clerk responded w 2 words.

"Right away sir...it goes immediately back to you"

Needless to say your incorrect dishonest deceptive employee was blatantly lying to me.

As a result of your deposit debacle I've now lost the car I so desperately need as well as my deposit on said car as in this case I WAS MADE AWARE BY THE DEALERSHIP MY DEPOSIT IS NON REFUNDABLE IF I BACK OUT ON THE PURCHASE...

I still to this moment have not received it.

You have now cost me $90 dollars in travel gas from NH to Maine...a $400.00 dollar vehicle purchase deposit and the vehicle itself I was purchasing.

As I arrived in Maine today I once again checked my acct then called your clerk.

Today his answer was to tell me he simply has no way of knowing when I'll recieve it.

I asked him why he told me "right away"

He first denied saying such words.

Then returned to repeating his claim of having no idea when it will be back in my acct.

Your clerk lied to get my business.

No biggie...I'm quite certain many clerks in various business climates do such things bon a regular basis.

But this time you incurred serious fiscal hardships on your customer as a result of your deceitful ways of doing business .

I'll be back at that econo lodge very soon to get my funds from you the moment I can manage to disrupt ANOTHER undeserving innocent individual w my transportation problems resulting DIRECTLY FROM YOUR LYING MORALLY CORRUPT POORLY TRAINED FRONT DESK WORKER.

I'm perfectly aware of corporate batch transfers and the strategies behind them involving micro term investments as well as the profits attainable by such practice.

Sound like I'm pissed off?

You've now cost me a $39 an hour position w the company I've been trying to be a part of for almost 9 years ,a vehicle , and my deposit for that vehicle.

Next time just kick me square in the testicles...at least I'll recover from that.

These people were fixing the underside of the second story walkway About pm we heard a crash My son jumped up and looked out the window to see a man lifting a ladder off our car When we asked for their insurance info they were extremely rude Said we were disturbing his workers They refused to let us get out of the room for over an hour We pulled in earlier and our room was blocked They wouldn't let us in the room for almost minutes I have bladder problems and ended up getting my pants Since then they stare into our window We can't even open the curtainsThey also refused to give me my receipt for my father's credit card The motel accommodations were great, owners/managers are rude I was screamed at by mgrs son Edgar and by the maintenance woman They damaged my car and my dignity when I wet my pants

Revdex.com spoke to Joel at business and the following was relayed: The tenant vacated the apartment as of 10/31/We spoke to the other tenants and there were no other reported issues or problemsThe tenant then alleged that there was drugs being used but she would not report to the policeWe agreed
to allow tenant to leave early and in good faith are not charging the tenant the months rent and instead have agreed to charge one months rentThe deposit was $1,and we are refunding the deposit minus the months charge of rent

I though am currently waiting for a $8?? Hundred dollar plus Check from frontier because of what they allowed to happen for 6 mos. so depending on if I get my check per Ann M. at frontier,I may file again. I have a signed note from one of the reisents saying 2 or more people were living in a 600 sq st one bedroom. 2 tvs and radios in bedroom,only one bed total. A woman and her two sons who sleeps all day party,loud,yelling all night. There's no way they asked other neighbors because one of them wrote my letter. I will wait for my check to hopefully arrive in the mail for the hell I had to live with.
