These people were fixing the underside of the second story walkway. About 6 pm we heard a crash. My son jumped up and looked out the window to see a man lifting a ladder off our car. When we asked for their insurance info they were extremely rude. Said we were disturbing his workers. They refused to let us get out of the room for over an hour
We pulled in earlier and our room was blocked. They wouldn't let us in the room for almost 16 minutes. I have bladder problems and ended up getting my pants. Since then they stare into our window. We can't even open the curtains. They also refused to give me my receipt for my father's credit card. The motel accommodations were great, owners/managers are rude. I was screamed at by mgrs son Edgar and by the maintenance woman. They damaged my car and my dignity when I wet my pants.

I feel we deserve a refund because we did not get what we paid for. The door keys never worked, the expensive jacuzzi room was smoking instead of non smoking, and the rooms were mediocre. The experience was terrible.

I was coming from Arizona and had a reservation for Econo Lodge in Springville, Utah. Due to my father getting sick I was unable to make the trip. When I called to let them know I wouldn't be able to make the trip and asked about a refund, she said too bad, you should have read the small print. Wow! Will never book at this hotel again and will let others know of my experience. Had I seen the horrible reviews this hotel gets I would have never booked with them!

paid for one night at the Caycee location in South Carolina and received multiple bite marks on my arms, right leg, chest, and back.

We checked in and asked what time does your pool close they said ten then we got ready to go to the pool and me and two of my grand kids went to swim and a woman said the pool is closed at nine the gate was open and unlocked but we observed there might have been something floating in the pool so we went to our room we tried to take a shower there was no hot water then we pulled the sheets down and there was bed bug poo on the sheets and I went and told the guy and he came up and looked and said thats dirt not bugs we said ee are cancelling our stay he said no you will not get your money back we filled a dispute with our bank and he wont give our money back and lied abou t the pool saying that was closed and we tried after ten it would have been locked if it was closed

I am NOT happy with the Econolodge in McPherson Ks. When I made reservations, I told the desk clerk that we were looking forward to "shutting the world out," watching cable TV and sitting and talking. When we checked in the next day, the TV didn't seem to work, so I called the front desk to see if I was doing something wrong. I called time after time for 15 min. and got NO answer. I called directly, I called using their outside line and I called from my cell phone. No answer!! We were exhausted, and I did not want to walk to the office, but finally did. The desk clerk claimed that the phone had not rung, and that she would have to report a problem. THEN she told me that altho the TV cable server had changed to digital THREE MONTHS earlier, the motel had not yet put in the required "mini-boxes" to receive the digital input, which meant that we could only get 6 stations, and the picture was so poor that we could only view THREE STATIONS! The desk clerk said she would sent out the assist. manager....who never came...I think she never called him! He would not have been able to help, but the fact that she offered and then did not DO it continued to destroy trust and increase upset. They advertise on the sign in front of the motel that they have "new, 40" LCD TVs," but of course don't advertise that those TVs are not useable!! Some of the towels were GRUNGY, as was the bathroom floor, and there was very little toilet paper in the bathroom. The sheets were very worn and the blankets were stiff, coarse and nasty!! Grungy towels and bedding are NEVER OK!! I called back to the office with another question an hour later, and guess what! The phone worked, which confirmed to me that the desk clerk had lied to me!! In a situation like this when trust has been broken and service that has been paid for is not given, one starts to notice smaller things that may have gone unnoticed if service was proper. We could see light around 3 sides of the door.......NO weather seal!! If the wind had been from the north, we would not have been able to stay warm. When we checked out, I had another surprise! I had asked about cost of bringing a dog. I was told "that will be $10 extra." I was really surprised, and not happy when I was billed $10 PER NIGHT! I called back to talk to the manager a few days later and told her what had happened. I told her that I had told the desk clerk when I made reservations that we were looking forward to having cable TV access, since neither of us had it at home, and the manager said "we tell everyone that we don't have the mini-boxes." I told her that I had NOT been told in spite of the fact that I had specifically talked about that when making reservations, and she responded "I will talk to my employee and see what SHE says, and I'll get back to you." She did not call back, so a week later I called again and the manager said "my employee said that she had done everything right." In other words, she was calling me a liar!! I wonder what motive she thinks I would have to call back after having stayed there, and lie !?! The worst part of the whole situation was that the manager DIDN'T CARE!! She displayed NO CONCERN about the fact that our experience had been so bad!! I cannot ever recommend Econolodge in McPherson.

was traveling by vehicle to go to watch my brother graduate to be a Marine, I didn't want to miss this! Unfortuanlty with the [redacted] in effect at the time I didn't want to be on the road in those conditions. I couldn't believe I couldn't get a refund.
