ED financial has been reporting late payment and negative remarks on all credit report,while my loans were in deferment and forbearance inaccurate

My daughter and I both are getting emails and phone calls saying that her student loan is in arrears, but she is a full time student
We believe that this company is daily calling and emailing us both in an attempt to trick us into thinking the college loan with *** is due, yet she is a full time studentThe terms of that loan is to begin payments months after graduationThey often do not leave voice messages, and when I call them back the machine first asks for a social security numberI wait for an operator to pick up, and I do not give them the SS#They say they cannot help me without it, nor can they stop the daily calls(several each day) and emailsI want my college student to focus on her studies and not be harassed daily over thisI also do not want her to be scammed into rolling over her loan to a company that may charge her a high or variable rate

EdFinancial placed a forebearance on my student loan account that was neither requested nor ever authorized by me, then raised my interest rate
In *** *** I submitted an electronic request via EdFinancial's website to change my loan repayment plan from graduated to standard because I wanted to pay more toward my loans each month Despite three follemails, EdFinancial never processed my request When I called them, I was told that I could not participate in the standard repayment plan, only the extended standard repayment plan I asked the phone representative why a loan payment was not automatically withdrawn for the month of *** She told me they had placed a forebearance on my account as a "courtesy" because my monthly payment was increasing I told her my intent was to pay more toward my loans, not less, and that I never asked for a forebearance She reitierated that it was done as a courtesy I told her to remove it immediately so that I could resume payme

Auto debited from my account even though I prepaid my balance, putting my bank account in the negative reversing a payment to a different loan companyI missed a payment on February *** *** and planned to pay what I missed and my current payment due all at onceI did that on March *** *** When I checked back to make sure my account wouldn't be auto debited it said my next auto debit would occur in April, so I saw no need to call the company(They seem to never be open when I call)I was shocked to find that they have taken payment for February, March, and AprilThat was not in my planI only use that checking account for loan paymentsI set up the remainder of that month's (March) funds to make a payment to my other loan companyBecause Edfinancial took the liberty to take April's payment early, they put my account in the negative (one *** fee) and caused my other payment to bounce (another *** fee!)

this company says it has my school loan an it does not delta does I have gone to the national student loan data base system and it shows this loan that they say they have in default they say its not.the last payments where made to granite state management& resources these payments where made from *** to *** have called them to tell them this and all they say is they do have the loan there looking at it now last year they took my income taxes because the loan was in default and delta management services had this account not them and I will loose this years also because of this.last year I lost *** because I was told by them my loan was not in default

I have student loans with EdFinancialThey have falsely reported my history to all of the credit agencies and admitted it but won't fix it

In accurate reporting of a late payment on all of my credit reports
I have contacted your office on numerous occasions about the inaccuracy of my credit report Your company is reporting a ** day late payment in *** *** but the credit report reflects account in good standing from *** *** up until the late payment was posted in May *** I know for a fact that I requested a forbearance in *** but your reps seem to have lost that information Please research the account because this is causing undue hardship

'Kwikpay' allocation of payment
I have two separate loans with EdFinancial (one low interest and one high interest)I clearly want to pay off the high interest loan (HIL) as quickly as possibleI called customer support to ask how I can contribute extra monthly funds to the HIL prinicpalI was told to use their 'additional payments' under the Kwikpay systemEach month accrued interest would be paid first, then required principal would be paid on each loan, and any additional money could be applied to a loan of my choosingThe customer support tech then had to type in multiple notes and make multiple adjustments, because their system had 'multiple factors in place that made this difficult.' For example I was told, without her notes and multiple overrides, when extra money was applied to a higher interest, the system would automatically use the following month's payment and allocate it all to the lower interest loan, including additional Kwikpay payments 'to keep them even.'

Ed Financial transferred an account in *** that was first deliquent no later than ***, since that is when I left my doctoral programNo new loans were obtained after this year., thus the delinquency period is now more than years, but Ed Financial continues to report my acount as delinquent, bombing my credit ratings with all bureausEd Fin has not been responsive to any complaint or request and I have disputed this issue with all credit bureaus multiple timesAll student loans were discharged in ***, but Ed Financial loans from before *** were privately funded and have all passed any valid reporting date

The customer support department at ED Financial Services is unhelpful and uninformed In May of a regularly scheduled payment was processed from my checking account and was supposed to be applied to my student loan account In June I realized that ED Financial Services never credited my account When I called their customer support they told me that they did not know how to rectify the problem over the phone They told me that the only thing that they could do was to send me an email The email told me to submit a copy of the processed check front and back I submitted the information I began calling ED Financial Services a few days later asking about the progress and if I submitted the correct informationI was told on multiple occasions that everything was progressingThey informed me that the issue would be resolved by 6/26/ On the 26th I called to get an updateThey informed me that the information I submitted was insufficient Each time that I have called for help I have been told that they don't know what information they need and that the group who has the information can't be contacted On one occasion I was told that the processors don't have phones The service and support that this company offers has been well below par

I reached out to EdFinancial around the beginning of OctoberIt turns out that the loan being reported on my credit was taken out by a relative When I asked why it was being reported on my credit they claimed that it was a clerical error on their part due to the fact that our social security numbers "are probably only one number off"I do not believe that me and someone born years after me have social security numbers that our one digit off
Although I am certain they lied about the social security numbers I wasn't worried because I was told that if I fax them a screenshot of my credit monitoring that they would remove the fraudulent report within 3-business days I immediately did as they requested and heard nothing back I checked my account a week later and decided to call Experian as wellI am still curious as to how and why they have my social security number since I have never taken out a student loan or supplied them with it It makes me wonder if they illegally ac

I have request that negative items be removed from my credit report since I do not owe this company but I have been ignored

SO I was alerted from *** that Ed Financial flagged my reportI called Ed Financial RIGHT AWAY, and they rep stated, "We HAVE NO RECORD OF YOU IN OUR SYSTEM" She's states the last time we had any record of me was in 2012, but there is NO BALANCE OWEDThey are NOT ACTIVELY collecting on this debtThe rep then advised me to file a disputeI am NOT aware of this debt, I was NOT notified by mail or phone; it just APPEARED on my report! Due to an address change, I was not receiving any type of notification from EdFinancial regarding my Student Loans This was reported as a delinquency to the Credit Bureaus, which has been absolutely devastating to my credit, and has effected my life in a negative way I attempted explaining this unfortunate error to EdFinancial & they said there was nothing they could do about it I would never have missed a payment if I had received any type of bill, but it was only brought to my attention via my credit report My request is that this error be removed from my credit report immediately Please feel free to contact me should there be any additional questions or concerns

I have made $*** in payments to a student loan account ***Only $*** has been applied to principal & $*** applied to interest

I paid off my daughter's student loan which was in my name back on ***I was told it would take up to days to process and another 5-days to mail it out to meIt is *** and I still haven't received itThis was the first email sent to me ***
