This is a HORRIBLE dating site. I got multiple scammers contacting me. There are almost no decent people on this site as most people don't even seem to check since it's so bad. The worst part is they make it impossible to cancel. I tried to cancel before my six month membership was up and couldn't contact anybody. Finally I found out that you can't cancel if you don't call on the month of your expiration date. Since I missed that date they renewed for another 6 mos. for a site I hadn't used in months because it is do bad. So I had to pay an additional $240 for for HORRIBLE site.

I signed up for 3 months at 9.95 a month then I wrote to a guy in order to get to know someone on the site but they asked "would you like to know when he read it?" I said sure. So they proceeded to charge my account 9.99 or so because that's a service they provide without telling you it costs YOU MORE MONEY. I demanded they remove my credit card information from their website and I stopped payment on that transaction. So far haven't heard from them.
Also when you are NOT a member you get pop ups of people wanted to talk to you once you sign on they never contact you again. They are next to impossible to communicate with.

My experience with EHarmony was awful. At the moment I signed up, it was bad. The EHarmony advertisement worded the agreement as if it was 6 months for $59.95 but that price was actually per month. I immediately saw the issue and called the office saying I had mis-interpreted the wording and did not want to pay so much per month. They did agree to switch my plan so that it was more affordable. While I was on the phone with the representative, I asked her is she could turn off the auto-renewal and she said yes and said it was off. Then on the credit card statement in February I was charged for the membership renewal in January. I called to complain and the representative said they could not refund my money but she could make the change so that it was no longer charging me. I was irate. I said I specifically requested that the auto-renewal be turned off. She then said she sees that in the records that I made that request and sees that I turned it back on. No way did I turn it back on. They must have the web page jerry rigged to turn it back on to scam people out of their money. Stay away from this company - it is a scam. Furthermore, all those questions and none of it lead to anything. This member ship was a total waste of money and time!

I've purchased a yearly subscription from eHarmony and was supposed to have received a 65% cash back and never did, so when I've contacted it to get a pro-rated refund, it told me that it buried in its terms of conditions no one reads, that it will only refunds within 3 days and won't do prorated refunds.

This company is not at all transparent and has deceptive business practices!

I signed up for eharmony services and at the time, the only way you could sign up was to agree to an autorenewal of your subscription. The time period of my autorenewal was 3 months. When I went to close my account, following the directions from the help settings, "turn off autorenewal" and "close my account" were not options. When I called the company, they said they were not options because I still owed two payments. The eharmony cutormer service person told me my account would not be closed until I paid two more payments because they renewed my account for one year. There was no other way to close the account. We went back and forth about the extra charge, I became very infuriated and told him I wanted to know where in writing I signed up for a year autorenewal because I was going to take the paperwork to an attorney and sue for the basic principal of them bullying me into paying more than I agreed to. Once I mentioned sue, he told me I would be refunded $110 and my accout would be closed. The company feeds on people being busy. I tried to close this account 6 months ago, and there was no options on the website to close the account, I didn't have time to look up the number, so it stayed open for another 6 months. It is awful how this company is stealing money from people! Don't use this service!!!

Eharmony has zero customer service. THey just want your money. Their site is not user friendly. The matche sthey send will disappoint you - sometimes the matches they send are no longer even active on eharmony.

When you do cancel, expect to continue to receive "daily matches" emails every day. You can attempt all you want to get them to stop sending you emails. It will not stop. I canceled my 3 month membership because I was not meeting any single person. I was about a month in, and realized what a waste of my time and money. But I didn't even get all mad and try to get a refund (I read plenty of reviews and so I knew this was not possible). I just canceled and wanted to end my "Relationship" with eharmony permanently. Not to be. Dailt emails stating "here are your new matches!" "look now" etc. THis continues today. Even after trying to contact eharmony to get htem to remove my email from their mailing lists. Every spammer in history has a "unsubscribe" option./ But not eharmony! And you have no one to call and no one to email to help you. You will be haunted forever.

All I did was register with this stupid website and then literally seconds later I got an email saying ACCOUNT CLOSURE! I was like [redacted]! I had to register with a different email address on my pc and then that account closed. Then I registered from my school just to try it out and it worked. Many weeks later they closed my account again! I hadn't even used it so I know I did not do anything in regards to violations, lol. Look this company is a scam and they will only try to waste your money. I actually met some very petty and childish women who eharmony said were all great matches for me. Almost every woman already had a relationship and was only looking for me to waste my money on them so they could try to use me. This is a bad company. They closed my account for literally no reason at all. If I could reach the owner or someone with a good brain I would empower them to fire their pathetic departments that started this mess.

I first was on EH about 11 years ago and meet great women I would never ever have the chance ot meet. I am on it now, March 2015, and the quality is still there. They have made many improvments over time and it is the best way to find vetted people who may become your friend or romantic partner.

I purchased a subscription in less than a month I had a bad eh communication request it was not very well so I wanted to cancel everything the subscription and the installment payment. as well as close the account. when I emailed eharmony I was advised that I could not cancel the subscription due Term and Agreement. I did not want a refund for the first month but wanted to stop everything. I wanted the account closed and to stop the installment payment. Again I was advised by email that only after the installment plan was paid that it could be canceled.
Eharmony is leaving everything open for more communication for others to see my information. all I want to do is stop and close everything so that I get no more communications from anyone in eharmony.
at this time I do want a refund but to just to stop the installments and close the account before the next installment. I do not want the services any longer.

I am an active member and haven't received any referrals for awhile, they say to chance my no smoker status which is not possible. I have been a member more then once. It doesn't show up where I can look at matches anymore. It is hard to get someone to contact you. Men they have sent are no longer on e harmony

Absolutely an amateur site charging up the wazoo for services worse than free dating sites. There are numerous errors in the webmaster programming.
For example. The filter "show users with photo" did not work, when attempted to be fixed that same checkbox hid everybody and stated I do not have any matches matching that criteria. Finally that filter was fixed after several more feedbacks I sent.
Another problem is simple yet unprofessional: When hovering over a user's information page you get pop ups stating similar to "look at pictures" "send smile" and sometimes these text words and banner stay active when scrolling through the rest of a member's page.
Another problem: When answering questions there is a leveling problem where the drop down list for a question will appear under the existing page and although you can check which answer you choose, you still cannot click "Answer" when finished with your decision.
Another problem: Uploading pictures doesn't always work
