Do not bid on their Website
EJ's takes no responsibility for Bidders information on their website. Thay say it is not their website. It has been hacked several times in the past 2 years with personal information stollen. They also have employees that bid up on items against legitimate bidders.

Lousy Customer Service
Customer Service is incredibly awful. I refuse to do business with this place again, as both a buyer and seller. COVID-19 safeguards are non-existent. I repaid my buyer's auction and had my receipt in hand, yet when I entered business on Sunday to pick up items their cashier line was 40 people deep and they expected me to wait in line 2 hours to obtain another receipt (?!). My time is valuable. I walked out. I had a 40 minute drive for nothing. This was the 3rd Sunday in a row. And, now the rear door lady started collecting driver's licenses in order to use a loading cart. No COVID-19 protections in place. I'd like my license sanitized before I'd ever touch it again.

This company sent an invoice to tell me to pay on PayPal. I sent a payment right away, and never heard from seller. I then had a notice of nonpayment sent from Proxibid. I sent a copy of the payment that I sent on PayPal, left a voicemail for seller, and sent an email and I've never heard from them.

The older blonde cashier is so very rude.
I was quoted 25% commission to sell my stuff but contract states 40% after asking them for the contract more than 5 time.
They are ripping people off

Mr. David has been a buyer of ours for some time now. He recently asked to sell some items with us and was given our Commission Rate for the Type of items he’s wanting to sell. I do apologize if he feels staff was rude to him however Mr. Roland has been extremely aggressive and demanding to several of our Staff Members In the most recent months. We declined doing business with Mr. Roland and I do Believe this promoted his outrage. We sincerely wish him the best in selling his items with another Company.

I was not satisfied with the way my items that were sold at EJ Auction on [redacted]. 59 lots sold were not identified. 34 lots not sold were not identified. How do I know that the 34 items not sold were mine. They charged $1.00 per lot so I may be paying for someone else's lots.

If you consign with EJ's, SELLER BEWARE!! Despite reading the contract carefully and asking questions about their commission structure, I still had a major disappointment/surprise when I received my check for the items I had consigned. For example: an item sold for $225, and the stated percent of commission was 35%, which would have been $78.75. But NO, I was told (after waiting a month for the check) that they are taking $96.25, because they figure 50% on the "first $50" of the sales price, and so forth....THAT is a rip-off in my book....and NOT one they disclosed.

After the payment, I was been told that they can not let the shippers send my items to my friend's address in IL. They said my items must be sent to France. I called their office so many times and My friend in IL also called them. First, they said my friend can pay again with his address and they can send my items to his house in IL. But soon they went back on their's word. Then I sent them a copy of my passport. I asked them if my friend can go to their office and pick up my lot as an agent. - The answer is no. And I asked them if I can repay my lot with my friend's address in IL and they can change the delivery address. - The answer is no.

I bought the lot and now I am the owner. I do not understand why Ejs auction did such a thing to me. The whole thing is ridiculous and unreasonable .

As you are Aware we were very accommodating to you during this entire process, I spoke with you several times as well as Lydia did and we corresponded by Email over 15 Times. Never once did we change our Stories we made it very clear to you that due to credit Card "Fraud" and Strict regulations that we are under any items that you purchase with your Credit Card must ship to the Address that Matches were the Credit Card Statements go to this is a Strict Policy that our Credit Card Processor requires to us to due to the high rate of Fraud and Credit Card Theft. When your "friend" called in to make payment to the Address he wanted the item to ship to when we Ran the payment the credit Card Slip once again came back as a "No Match" meaning that the Address your friend gave to us did not match the Address the Credit Card Statements were being sent to. We explained this to you several times from day one. We deal with over 10,000 Customers Each week who all follow this same policy and understand this policy is in effect to protect merchants and to protect consumers against credit card Fraud. We will not be able to ship this to justt any address you chose Im sorry as we have explained this numerous times to you we are more then eager and willing to ship this to you at your address but are unable to send this to an "unverified" address that does not match the paying credit card.

Please let me know if youd like to proceed with shipping this out to you at your address.

But what you said is totally unreasonable and unacceptable.1: The payment is done over a month and I have already provided all my credit card details to you via email - There is no Credit Card Theft!2: In your terms - You did not mention that the delivery address should match the payment address. And You did not let me know this point before the payment (Otherwise, I won't fill in France address). That is your fault, not mine. You have 2 choises:1 : Refund my payment if you can not send my lot to the US address. 2: I can repay the lot with a new delivery address. Then you can refund the first payment then ship my lot.I do not want to start legal proceedings. But if you still did not realize you are doing a wrong thing - I have to.

#1. Ship to the Address Matching your Credit Card Payment Matching your Online Bidding Account.

#2. Make Payment to a Matching Credit Card Address and We will send this With the Shipper to be Shipped Back out however it must Ship to the Address that Matches the Card you pay with and I will Then Refund the Original Payment.

#3. I will Refund your Payment and We will keep the merchandise.

Please let me know how you would like to Proceed.
