I am rejecting this response because: I never received an email not a response in regards to them coming to my home nor workplace to assist in this matterI even spoke to *** customer support they never mentioned this at all everI would call leave messagesThey would say to call back and that was itI am not happy as to how they are steady misleading the issueWhy not send an email stating that? Not happy at allWith this response if it was that simple why not take means by calling sending mail or emailing ? I am very upset in regards to how they made this accusation as if they were so sincere in helping me to resolve the issue.

We are very sorry that Mr*** did not receive the car he intended to buy. There was a miscommunication about finalizing the sale price that led ELCO to believe he was waiting for the sale price to be lower. This vehicle was sold to another buyer at the original asking price, so
the deal was finalized at that time. Again, our apologies to Mr*** and we hope he gives us another chance

I just took my truck I bought from them to a mechanicI found out the front struts and struts mounts are bad, and the back strut mounts are not in good shapeI also found out the front CV joints are badThere is about $worth of suspension work that needs to be done

Thank you for bringing the concerns of *** *** to our attention. We have addressed his concern with the Department Finance Manager. With regards to the extended warranty, on 12/13/17, we refunded a total of $2,to the lien holder. The loan is in *** ***'s
name so she will need to contact the loan originator to see if this amount was applied to the principle. Thank you

We are sorry that Ms*** had a crack on her windshield, however, this is not a result of the service work performed by ELCOThe windshield already had a chip on it, which then "spidered" out when the temperature changedWe do not take
responsiblility for cracked windshields that started from a chipWe have offered to have her windshield fixed by our internal glass technician at a discounted rate, but not at our expenseWe appreciate Ms***'s business and hope that she will give us the opportunity to fix her windshield

Thank you for bringing the concerns of Ms*** to our attention. We checked our records and found that Ms*** had an appointment at our dealership. Unfortunately, the appointment was not properly matched with the customer, so our Service Advisor, *** ***, was unaware of her
appointment. After her extended wait time, Mr*** moved her status to a priority code. We sincerely apologize that the wait time did not meet the high expectation we strive to achieve for all of our customers.With regards to the cost, Mr*** told Ms*** from the beginning that the check engine light would be $to check. He also told her that the A/C problem would be an additional $150-depending on the extent of the problem. Ms*** later said she did not understand the second part. We make every effort to be sure the customer understands the cost of repairs up front, and Mr*** made it clear that the two issues with her vehicle would require two different repair costs.Again, we would like to offer Ms*** a free oil change coupon. We greatly value her business, and we would like another chance demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service

We contacted the customer today. We immediately replied to his original email but our response was sent to his spam folder. He already received the check but did not inform Revdex.com.

Thank you for bringing this request to our attention. We have spoken with [redacted] and our Service Manager is faxing her requested report to her.

I spoke with [redacted] who handles the rental program for ELCO
as this customer was an ELCO renter and not an [redacted] renter.  [redacted] is
very familiar with the situation.   While the car was in [redacted]
[redacted]’s name, it was his daughter that was driving the rental vehicle. 
When...

it returned, [redacted] saw the damage and noticed the odor in the car and
asked the customer about it.  He even had the customer smell inside of the
car so that he was aware of the odor and then pointed the damage out to the
customer.  The ELCO contract has no damage marked on their rental contract
when the vehicle left.  Speaking with [redacted], he is 100% certain that the
odor and the damage was caused after the car was released to [redacted]
[redacted].  If it was [redacted]’s daughter that caused the damage/odor, [redacted]
would still be responsible as the car was released to him. We will be closing this concern on our end.

I am rejecting this response because:
If they had disclosed the engine replacement I never would have purchased this vehicle.  Orvettes are purchased not only as performance vehicles, but as collectors cars. The fact that this vehicle had a non numbers matching engine greatly diminishes its value not only now, but its collectors value in the future. The failure to disclose the engine swap is fraudulent, and they know it. If it did nothing to the value of the vehicle they would have disclosed it during the sale.

Mr. [redacted]’s refund money from the warranty company was applied to his down payment.  This was done with his permission.   I have attached the form with his signature indicating the refund proceeds from the cancelled insurance would be “used as down payment.”  Additionally, I...

have included a form from the finance office which shows a cash down amount of $3400.  Mr. [redacted] was well aware of how his refund money was to be applied, and ELCO would never arbitrarily use his refund amount without authorization.  Thank you.

Ms. [redacted] was in our dealership last week for service on her vehicle.  Due to an engine misfire, we had to replace the converter.  ELCO paid $590 and the customer agreed to pay $200.  To our knowledge, this has satisfied Ms. [redacted].  Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to her complaint and we hope to do business with Ms. [redacted] again in the future.
