Purchased a warranty from the dealer and they said if we didn't want it we had 90 days to remove it. We have been trying for over two months to get ahold of the dealership and even drive 2 hours to the dealership to handle the problem and they wouldn't fix the warranty issue. They turned us away and every time since we have called all of the managers are always busy and the finance manager is never there supposedly

Sorry for any delay. Extended Warranty and GAP coverage have been cancelled. Check are being sent to the lender to reduce the principal balance on the loan, per usual practice.

After purchasing the Jeep I wanted the extended warrenty and gap insurance off the car. I then contacted the finance guy he scheduled a meeting with me. I drove two hours back to the dealership only to find out the finance manager had off that day. He then said we never scheduled a meeting and he could get it taken off over email. He then said it would be taken off in 45 days. 45 days later I call the extended warrenty company and they never heard of this warrenty and gap insurance being taken off. Now the finance manager Tommy *** has been ignoring my calls and emails for three weeks. I am now working with the extended warrenty company because Elgin Jeep Dodge Ram has yet to call or email me back.

This is an inaccurate description of the interaction we have had with the customer. We have bent over backwards to help find a vehicle, and to be transparent with pricing. We also have all of the emails and text messages to back up our position. We are sorry this wasn't acceptable, but the effort was above and beyond.

Leased 2018 *** JL on 6/26/2018 sale that day went well except for the fact that we finished the close after hours. Problems started a week after delivery got a call that a new contract had to be signed due to some issues, now I work full time night shift 12 hrs shifts so I told them I could be there by 7//4/2018 to have the documents ready to signed since I would be stopping after work. I arrive at 9 by 930 again I ask for the finance manager and he as arrived but has no clue as to what I'm talking about the new contract, I play him my voice mail from my phone so he digs up my contract and says "oh yes they left the contract ready for you". He says "they probably made a mistake on the Adjusted Cap Cost, it happens all the time sign here and here". I pull out my original contract to compare the numbers and indeed it was a mistake on the Adjusted Cap Cost so proceed to sign the new contract. Called again on 7/13 that they had no down payment if I have my receipt which was not given to me buy I had my bill of sale reflecting the $ 500 paid on the day of sale. Now its 7/23 and my contract is still at the dealership on hold "due to missing down payment" as they said and they have also not paid off my trade in vehicle and this will soon reflect negatively on my credit score due to late payment. Now I offered to pay 250 just to get this over with and dealer refused, now I will not pay them a dime more then I already have!

I Emmanuel *** purchased a 2016 Chrysler 300 in the year of 2016 . I recently had my car refinanced! Purchased a vehicle on April 14th 2018 and traded in my old vehicle. The dealership was going to pay off my old vehicle and I was told it can take 10 days. While purchasing my vehicle they asked if I had a down payment and I told them no I did not. Hey asked if I had the payment money for my current vehicle I told them yes. They told me to use that money as a down payment since they were paying off my old vehicle. My payment for my old vehicle is due 4/28/18.

As of today Friday 4/27/18 they still haven’t paid off the vehicle. I called the bank and they haven’t received a payment nor a call from the dealership. I called the dealership today and was told someone would call me back. Three hours later no call back. I called the dealership again and talked with the finance person Eddie who worked on my account when I purchased my new vehicle. He was the one that told me it would be paid off in ten days. He said something about they have the funds and it will be sent Monday 4 30 2018 to pay it off.
Today is May 1 2018 I called my bank and my car that I traded in has yet to be payed off. Now it is showing late.

I was denied the purchase of a vehicle at the confirmed advertised price because I declined the purchase of an extended warranty with it. They stated that the vehicle was priced too low and they must sell this warranty with it. I left very unhappy and after one week they, after realizing their actions were illegal, then changed their story to "I offered only a company check to pay and that is why they wouldn't sell". I had a company check along with other options to pay, but we never had a chance to talk about it because they refused to sell without the purchase of the used vehicle warranty. Is this a form of bait and switch fraud?
