July 9, 2015Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint by Mr [redacted] .Mr [redacted] stated in his complaint that Midway Chevrolet had him return the vehicle with out any explanation Upon request we can provide recorded calls that were made to Mr [redacted] regarding the vehicle and finance approval Mr [redacted] indicated in writing on his credit application that he was currently employed When the lender asked for proof of employment, Mr [redacted] was unable to provide the documentation Midway Chevrolet did not deny Mr [redacted] 's loan application, the financial lender did.We regret that we were unable to place Mr [redacted] in a vehicleWe would be happy to work with Mr [redacted] if his employment status has changed and can be verified.Sincerely, [redacted] Compliance Director Midway Chevrolet

MsC***, When I brought in our Silverado Chevrolet on June 3rd, I requested that the service department check three things onlyCheck why the truck was not able to pass emissionsCheck the ignition switchCheck A/C that was blowing hot air on one sideAll of these items were on a check and advise request onlyAfter I was informed by the technician that my truck was repaired and ready, I picked it up on June 3rd, slightly before the service department closedBefore I reached my home, the A/C began again blowing hot air and then shutting off because the A/C compressor was not functioningBy the time I made it home, your service department was closedOn Sunday, June 4th, the A/C was intermittently blowing hot air and shutting offThe check engine light came on, for reasons unknownI had to stop several times, lift the hood to assess why the A/C was not functioning properlyWe stopped at an Auto Zone, that is when we were informed the knock sensor was malfunctioningThis had never been an issue until after it was serviced by Midway techniciansI arrived at the service department by am, Monday June 5th, to voice my concerns about the failing A/C and newly discovered check engine light/knock sensor issueI was informed that for dollars more, they would fix the now malfunctioning knock sensorMy concerns over the A/C were not taken seriously, as the vehicle was supposedly driven twenty miles without A/C issues or a check engine light appearing, according to the service consultantI left without having anymore repairs done to the truck, as I felt I had been overcharged for work that was not done correctly in the first placeThe only issue not in question is the ignition switch replacement, which we acknowledge was fixed properly without incidentThe amount of that repair we do not dispute is in the amount of $We feel the amount of $2,001.96, (the cost of the A/C repair only) is disputed, as the A/C was not functioning after the payment and repairsAlso the repairs I never authorized, totaling $A grand total of $2,is in dispute, with the repairs not being completed as paid for, and vehicle not being able to pass emissions as requested Your claim that the “vehicle was taken home and driven for some time.”, is a gross misstatement, as it implies it was driven in a joyride fashionThe distance between Midway and my residence is thirteen miles, one wayHaving brought it June 3rd, picked it up, then again on Monday, June 5th, brought it in, then drove homeThose trips to your service department alone amounted to at least milesThat does not include the miles driven by your employee, Sergio Gaucin; Service ConsultantThe vehicle may very well have been a 2004, but there were no repair issues associated with the truck, outside of the ones already statedYou have no personal knowledge for your statement to be true regarding, “ vehicle with this age and miles (year, 229,miles) on it had multiple problems needing repair.” Sincerely, [redacted] ***

The response posted for the complaint was not even directed to me personally, it was to someone else a Mr [redacted] This does not give me much faith in the company when they can't even make sure when they respond to complaints that they are responding to the correct personI don not feel it is the difficult to make sure as a company to double check before posting comments

Now to “four year” statement!; swindlers they are! Now let the truth continue to come outAfter the 6-month program was completed by Mr [redacted] without issues! Mr [redacted] arrived (Febx 2012) to the location to be only met with the end result of liars; the liars (Midway team) had nothing to tell me in the matter of following throw with their part and could not even really look me in my eyes! SMHI called for months and had not one person to help with this matter nor have ANY OF MY MESSAGES TO THE MAIN MANAGER BEEN RETURNED AFTER MANY ATTEMPTES, EVEN DRIVING THERE NUMEROUS OF TIMESWhat do you do when you are stuck and know no others way out, or in this case whom to complain too? Remember I’m from Texas not Arizona, young and a first time car buyer alone! In the year of I contacted them a numerous amount of times! Good Afternoon, At this time I would like to reject closing my claimI have received the initial promised email from MrJ [redacted] to include three oil changes/tire rotations/multi-inspection serviceHowever, the other part of what has been negotiated regarding the extended warranty of months/30K Comprehensive Letter has yet to process and received by meFrom my understanding Chevrolet/GMC gets this approved by Midway ChevroletOnce I receive the paperwork for this extended warranty I would consider myself satisfied with the outcome based on what has been promised to me for my Chevrolet Equinox [redacted] I was told as of 9/that they are processing request and I should have the information by end of next week (9/16/16) Thank you, [redacted]
