may 25, this misleading company's agent amy shepherd "american health assoc." called my cellphone early that morning, trying to assist me in finding insurance that I would qualify forDue to the fact I am currently pregnant she stated she could assign me what is called "Coventry insurance" which would only cover pregnancy not delivery or birthShe stated on what she says is a recorded line that I would by September or October be ending Coventry and be automatically assigned to Obama Care insurance which would cover my delivery and birthBecause I didn't have credit card at time, I was told to call back when I did or they would call me back as they couldn't hold rate $monthly feeAfter explaining to my husband the details of my benefits medical, hospital coverage, life insurance policy, rx coverage, and monthly costs of $for both of us he discontently agreed to sign upThe next day may I directly called amy shepherd to pay initial time $signing feeI was told my monthly fee would be $which she was able to discount just for signing to their life insurance policyI read cc information to her where she said she then would prep me for 2nd call with rep on recorded lineOn that 2nd call the woman spoke fast making simple statements ex:) you agree that your policy includes life insurance as so was agreed with your agent Amy?...etcThis woman verified last digits of my cc and reiterated monthly fee was due at date by my request or choice but due now was time fee AgreedAmy got back on phone and said if I have any questions she is my first point of contactwe hung upThe following day may there was additional charge to my cc totaling $Due to memorial weekend I had to wait until Tuesday to call to discuss this as my husband was livid with me, as on may total of $was withdrawn and the following day $was withdrawn.I called and finally got Amy who needed to speak with her "underwriters"and call me back in hourshours later I called her, she asked me to fwd copies of my bank statement proving withdrawsI fwd her statements from her company showing the withdraws on different datesShe said she finally received emails and would need to review and show underwriters and call me backThat didn't happen until Wednesdayno call so I called her again directly, where she tried to tell me, originally my monthly fee would have been $but the additional $abled her to reduce to $This was a lie as I would have hung up on her knowing she was just telemarketer from the beginning of all thisI told her that's not at all what we spoke about and I never would have aggreed to that amount and the $total is what was my definite ok with deciding to sign upShe immediately put me on hold to transfer her underwriter Devin on phoneDevin only said hello and asked would I like the phone #to the cancelation process? to which I answered, yes! He gave me #, and hung upAs it was roughly after hours when I called the #they were closed for the business daySo here I am same evening looking up this company and feel compelled to write a reviewAfter reading previous complaint, I realize I don't have id# bin# or rx# only a member # which isn't the coverage I was told I am paying for, And the unprofessional agent and underwriter who come off as a scam are causing serious 2nd thoughtsI would like to know what coverage I have? I can't find anything through website that says Coventry insurance, and I can't find any information thru my emails about this company, american health, their phone #s, their website, or any vouching proof that I wasn't just scammed

Hi , l needed health insurance, for my wife and I I 've left my job of 11years , to get a new job and I wanted to get insurance that we could affordWe called Atena insurance, and some how and some we got connected to a insurance called Continental care insurance,UCA, with *** My wife is not very well, she has very bad asthma, and we signed with these people for 539, and monthShe went to two doctors and was turned away because they never heard of the insuranceI then went online , did some research, and found this insurance company is a scam!

Contacted company in reference to health insurance, due to our rates increasing through my husbands employer Spoke with male on the other end named *** *** Mr*** advised that both of our Doctors were listed under their network and the company could offer us a policy for $a month plus an initial fee of $ We were advised that this is a time fee and could get a full refund within days Upon speaking with my Doctor and Walgreens Pharmacy I learned that neither have even heard of this company before and did not accept the policy I made a call to cancel the policy on 2/8/and spoke with several different customer care reps who gave me the run around about canceling The lady told me that I was told three times that the $was non-refundable to which I was never advised I am seeking a full refund from the company I will pursue this matter further with my bank and local law enforcement as a matter of Fraud I will also be reporting this company

This business is totally misleading Before I would accept to pay for the insurance company, I had them look up each and every doctor that I deal with, and had them verify that they are participating in the planWhen asked, they also confirmed that the carrier is CHUBB When I heard their confirmation, I accepted, the payment plan which also included an enrollment fee I since have tried to use the policy and all of my doctors indeed DO NOT accept this plane When I called to cancel they told me that I was not elegiable for a refund because I have not been with them long enough They have received two x payed on my credit card as well as an initial enrollment fee Very upset with the policy, I had to go get another policy which is legitimate DO NOT TRUST what these people say Even when you go on their website, the doctors are all reported to be within the network, but when I call my doctors directly, they say they do not participate with that plan What good is having it if you cannot use it

This is the worst scam I have ever looked into and sorry to say that I fell when I called to cancel they was very rudeThis company should be ashame to treat people this way??

I was looking to enroll in an insurance plan during open enrollmentI told the agent (Justin S.) I qualified for subsidized coverage and told him about a specific carrier PPO I wanted to learn more about and eventually sign upHe said that the plan did not exist and pushed me towards another plan that was not the best pricing or even what I was looking forI asked about costs for co-payments etc and didn't get any information about the plan emailed to me until after I was charged Once the information was send I found out until after I signed up that I didn't purchase insurance and essentially signed up for a membership programAnd to top it off I found out a) the subsidized PPO with the carrier I wanted DOES exist, b) I qualified for that coverage and c) should have been paying 1/of what I was quoted/charged with Unified "Caring" AssociationAfter searching online and Revdex.com I found out that this is the m.oof the company I cancelled my plan/ membership subscription the next morningThe cancellation process took almost half an hour of their agents trying to re-sell me on their b.sproductI am livid and feel worse for others who will be duped by themThis company should absolutely be ashamed of their business practices

I needed health insurance and this company misled themselves as health insurance and stole almost $from meI received discount cards in the mailI cancelled part of it but they refuse to cancel the dental, eyes etcI called they said the dishonest agent as to call me backI do not know what to do

The complaint is regarding a bait and switch on a discount medical plan Before committing to the purchase, I asked for a list of coverages in writing I was told there was not one available and that once I joined the plan I would get an email outlining all of the coverages that the agent had just promised me I had the agent on speaker phone, I wrote down everything she said, and my husband heard the entire conversation *** told me if I had any questions to call her *** *** * ***, but if she was not available, any customer service representative could assist me I also spoke to a man that said his name is *** ***, who also confirmed the coverages that *** promised He also gave me the number *** *** to call if I had any questions and that if he was not available, any customer service representative could help me
The man I spoke to (*** ***) informed me that this coverage does not satisfy the individual mandate under the ACA but since

The nature of this problem should be no surprise to anyone who has taken even a quick glance at the noticeable pattern of Revdex.com complaints filed against this companyUCA Insurance preys on vulnerable individuals who are plainly seeking health insurance benefits by misrepresenting themselves over the phone as an actual insurance provider offering benefits sufficient to meet the minimum essential health benefit requirements of the Affordable Care ActIn reality, the company offers no such benefits or coverage, and it is only after the company has collected hundreds of dollars in enrollment fees and dues that a customer is made aware of this essential information After realizing that the package and benefits sold to me were utterly useless and not at all what I was led to believe I was purchasing over the phone, I attempted to contact customer service repeatedly but the phone number provided either went straight to voicemail or was busyBased on other Revdex.com complaints, it does not appear

I just spent an hour (two days in a row) talking to the people trying to get health insurance After all the hoopla and questions and payments I get the final email This email lead me to a website that all looks very legitimate In reading the details I see thisThis plan is NOT health insurance and is NOT intended to replace health insuranceThis plan does not meet the minimum creditable coverage requirements under M.G.Lc111M and CMR This plan is NOT a Qualified Health Plan under the Affordable Care ActMedical Network Savings are considered discount medical plans and are administered by *** *** ***, Inc., a discount medical plan organizationThe features are NOT health insurance policies and are not available in all areasThe features provide discounts at certain health care providers for medical services and do not make payments directly to the providers of medical servicesThe member is obligated to pay for all health care services but will receive a discount from those health care providers who have contracted with *** *** *** ***., located at *** *** *** *** *** *** ***Discount Medical Plans are not available in: AK, MN, MT, ND, SD, VT and WADiscounts may vary from one provider compared to anotherSavings available at select participating providers onlyI will be cancelling my order after I write this!!! SCAM

I TRIED TO GET HEALTH INSURANCE THROUGH THIS COMPANYIT WAS LIKE DEALING WITH A CAR SALES MANTHEY DIDNT TELL ME THEY WERE GOING TO START CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD I READ ON Revdex.com THAT THEY ARE ACCUSED OF SCAM I CAN SEE WHY*** *** THE MANAGER SAID HE COULD HELP ME WITH ANYTHING AND I TOLD HIM I WAS NO LONGER COMFORTABLE WITH GETTING POLICY HE TOLD ME TO LATE FOR EXCPET EVERYTHING MEDICAL AND I WOULD HAVE TO CALL BILLING NUMBER *** THAT TAKES TEN MINUTES TO ANSWER THEN THEY FORWARD YOUR MESSAGE TO DEPARTMENT *** WAS RUDE ON PHONE AND PROCEEDED TO TELL ME HE WAS RIPPING UP MY CONTRACT AS WE SPEAK AND GOT VERY THREATENING AND RUDENOW WITHOUT MY PERMISSION THEY CHARGED MY CARD AND I HAVE TO WAIT FOR CALL CENTER TO CALL ME BACK AND REFUNDTHEY ROB PEOPLE LOOKING FOR FAIR INSURANCE TO PROTECT THEIR FAMILIESI WANT MY MON NEY BACK NOW

Was led to believe this was a PPO from the msg that we received stating they had coverage starting under $ When we and asked if this was in the Obama Care acceptable plans we were told there would probably be a 2% tax but they were not financial advisors but they were saving us well over $ Questions would be asked and the conversation was led in a way where the question would never be answered, such as "who is the provider" We were never asked to, or even told, they would be taking money automatically, out of our checking account, which would not have been authorized After receiving e-mail notifications and going on line to research the company, we realized it was not what we were led to believe and we immediately tried to cancel One part of it was cancelled the same day, another part we were told we would have to call back on Monday as they were closed After calling back on Monday, it was almost an argument to get them to cancel it and were told we would not get the

purchased health plan for pr month for myself and wifepaid it for months then when I went to use it found out its a discount card that pays to 50% but they cant tell you until you they get the bill and its to lateThis is a scam taking advantage of honest hard working people desperate to find halfway affordable health insurance for their familiesSad world we live in and a big FU to UCAdollars ill never see again

THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY
They call you upon seeking insurance and promise the moon, then when it comes to the legal jargon, they tell you: "it is a timed call, you MUST state YES to EVERYTHING on the call, NO QUESTIONS ASKED until after the script is read and you agree to it all- if you do not agree to everything we have to start all over" They will not send it to you in writing to review, nothing In the legal jargon it is stated that the coverage may not be in your area (not our fault- no you don't get to choose your own doctor or keep your doctor, though the salesman just said you could) - if any questions are asked? they send you back to the salesman for his assurances ignoring what the legal jargon just said- if you still question they state that - just agree to everything then once it gets to you, if you do no want it- we will cancel it and no charge- yet the legal jargon states otherwise- TOTAL SCAM

Yes this place is a scam to the point that I have tried to reach someone for an hour in regards to canceling my membershipI found out within minutes of hanging up with an agent that this is not the insurance they said it wasEvery time I called back the person answering the phone would hang up on me as soon as I told them why I was callingMind you it was someone different ever timeI even tried to call the number listed in the review response on one of the reviews listed here and it goes to a fax numberThey tell you that you have days to cancel well it’s only been an hour and all I manage to get is the phone hung up on me every time I say cancelOnly thing I have going for me is the fact that I have to put the money in the bank to cover this, as I told the rep it wasn’t in the accountSince they won’t talk to me and keep hanging up on me I can close my account and cancel that way

I am filing a complaint with the Revdex.com because this company has been over charging me for benefits that I had cancelled several months ago I called the Unified Caring Association to resolve and dispute the charges hoping to resolve the matter by getting a refund
They are not willing to refund me the charges that I've incurred after I cancelled my benefits
