Mr [redacted] contacted us after stating that he noticed that one of his aftermarket lights was, by his assumption, damaged by our car washHe notified us of this one or two days after he picked up his vehicle While we could not verify that we damaged anything, we agreed to have the light repaired at a facility that specializes in aftermarket accessoriesWe referred Mr [redacted] to the facility and alerted them that we would be covering the cost of the repairTwo days after speaking to the repair facility, they called us and stated that Mr [redacted] came in but he did not want the light to be repaired, which they were more than willing and capable of doing, he wanted lighting replacedThe facility also noted that they spoke to him about the brackets and installation, and he told them that they were homemade by himselfThe independent repair facility also noted that they told Mr [redacted] that the wires looked cut, not like they were pulled loose by somethingThey stated that they reassured him that they could fix it but he refused the repair and told them he would file a complaint to the Revdex.com and the BARSeeing as we were not even sure that we were at fault for the damage and were fixing as a goodwill gesture, we rescinded our previous offer to repair and asked that he not return to our facility

We have been in contact with the customer and the vehicle is being fixed in our service department

When Ms*** brought in her vehicle for service, we pulled up her information in National Service History and saw that her service plan had expired by mileage, although it was still within the time frame
Ms.*** decided to proceed with a major service (60k)After getting the service Ms*** contacted Toyota to see if she still had a valid service available to be redeemed and says she was told that she did and that everything should have been coveredMs*** contacted us shortly after stating that she had spoken to Toyota and she wanted a refund for the service paidWe assured her that we would call Toyota to confirm and if that was the case, we would give her a refund
Elmore Toyota contacted Toyota and was told that although her plan had expired by mileage, she could still use the one remaining service that was available on her plan which was a minor service (5k) valued at $
Upon receiving this information, the Service Director called Ms.*** and left a voice message stating the information we had gotten from ToyotaAt that point the Service Director gave the name of the person we spoke to at Toyota and offered either a refund for the minor service portion of $or the option to use that at a later dateShe never responded to the Service Directors message

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I tried to call Carlos back several times and he was unavailable-with a customer or in a meeting per the rep I spoke to I would like a complete refund and the money from my coverage that was supposed to be used towards my service can be used towards the services provided.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowDear ***:
I did not see their insignificant and small message at the bottom until today. Thank you
Thank you for your reply
Their deal was a rip-off, big time. It was so profitable, that my almost $10,down payment was not applied to the price They are lying just as they have lied about everything from the beginning. I still have the window sticker
I just Purchase my car last month for $21,000. This is what should have been leased after my down payment. In other words, I wasted my down payment
They ripped me off big time I purchased a *** from *** *** ***, but they did not rip me off
El More Toyota subjects senior citizens to financial abuse and fraud. And right after they sold my car the sales person and the finance manager quit So they have no clue as to what went on. They even told me that they would read the contract to me, because since years ago due to an auto accident it hurts my injured brain to use my eyes to read. Therefore, I was going to bring the contract home to use my reader to read it, but they insisted in reading it to me
The fact is that they did not read much to me. The fact is that the contract is very convoluted and they did not explain anything to me. They told me they were giving me a better deal than through the *** ***, that I would be paying the equivalent to 0.001%. What I paid for the car was the amount after paying $10,down and $5,in monthly payments. I am now paying under 3% and the car is mine
They only threw me out of the building, instead. For sure, I will make sure to alert customers. Can you imagine how dumb they are, they subject me to abuse and fraud and then throw me out of the building. Can you imagine how many loss of prospective customers that is going to cost them? Not too smart at all. And then they even lied about being a member of the *** ***, but they are not. The finance clerk yells at me and tells me I had bought a $40,000. Not on your life, I would have never purchase a car like that. The sticker is around $30,000, minus discounts. They are so fraudulent, that when I tried to speak to the director he pretended he was on the phone. Can you see how they have not credibility nor professionalism?
Besides, I have been ripped off all around. The car was charging miles at first, and now it only charges miles, A TOTAL RIP OFF. I will be sure and print this email and send it to corporate
My next complaint will be the Attorney General, and then my attorney. I am trying to escalate my complaints so I can show that I gave them all the opportunities to right the wrongs they did to meHowever, I have limited time due to my disabilities, but they have no heart, no conscience, no business sense, nor customer service skills. Since, when a business is focused on ripping people off, they are also ripping themselves off of God’s Graces; thus, without out God’s Wisdom, they are not too smart
There are complaints in ***; *** ***; Consumer Affairs; ***;***; ***, to name a few
Why would I be wasting my time with accusations? I have better things to do; since, I lost my entire career and dream come true at the time of the accident. How come I did not complaint about The *** purchase at *** *** ***, where I will be returning for maintenance?
Precisely, these is why GOD has been appearing for the last years, desperately calling us, the lay people to help Him save the world, due to the corruption and disordered authority
Sincerely, in Jesus’ Trust,
*** ***

For some reason Elmore Toyota's Revdex.com contact did not receive this complaint until the 2nd request
Fortunately, MrThias contacted our Sales Manager again and they were able to resolve this complaint.
We take all Revdex.com inquiries very seriously and
apologize for the delay in our response

Our Service Manager has spoken with the husband of the guest and apologized for any miscommunication during the transactionThe windshield chip repair performed was not intended to be anything nefarious, as most insurance companies prefer to pay for a chip to be repaired before it spreads into a crack and needs the whole windshield replacedAlthough we performed the repair we assured the guest that we would not put the claim through since they did not feel comfortable with the transaction

This letter is in response to a complaint referenced by ID ***According to the guest her Ford Focus has had multiple issues with the transmissionThe guest brought her vehicle in on October 5, stating the vehicle would not go into reverse and that it would not accelerate over mphAt that time Elmore Toyota provided a rental car, at no charge to the guest, and sent the vehicle to Ford to have it inspectedBeing that we are a Toyota Dealer we do not have the ability or authorization to perform warranty work for another vehicle manufacturerThe Focus was sent to ** *** where they verified the issue and replaced the ECU, rear main transmission seal, and the dual clutch assembly under warrantyIt appears that the vehicle had a similar issue in January of and the guest took her vehicle to *** Ford in Torrance and they again replaced the dual clutch assemblyIn reference to the radio issue, we would recommend that the guest have the vehicle inspected by a Ford dealership since they would be able to minimize any time needed for repair or replacement seeing that they would have the ability to procure necessary parts directly from Ford
Elmore Toyota contacted both ** *** and *** *** Ford Torrance and verified that the above stated repairs were performed, minus the radio since it has not been inspectedWe were also informed that this is a common issue with this vehicle and that Ford is aware and has a longer warranty than on the dual clutch and control unit** *** has informed Elmore Toyota that if the guest would like to take the vehicle in to them they would gladly inspect itIf the issue persists, and is verified, they can install another dual clutch if needed

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[The following is my response to the business. Although the response the business gave is true, the business selectively left out the facts that I was the one that had to personally resolve and drive the issue. At first, I had called Elmore Toyota for my initial complaint and asked to be called back by the service department manager. I never received a call. In response, I had to call Elmore Toyota again and eventually was able to reach the service advisor who was the subject of my complaint. After my stern and vigorous response to the service advisor, they told me that the claim was not going to be processed. Elmore Toyota is not apologetic and continued to press that I should not complain since the insurance company "wants" people to claim these repairs and that is ok since the repair is "at no cost to me". Elmore Toyota ignores the fact that this deceptive practice is a form of insurance fraud and that it affects everyone insurance rates since they are taking advantage of an insurance benefit which raises rates for everyone. By no means was this an issue that Elmore Toyota wanted to resolve- I had to continue pressing on to get any resolution.
I also lodged a complaint with Toyota Corporate. I received a message from Toyota Corporate that they contacted Elmore Toyota and that they would give me a call to discuss my complaint by a certain date. That date has passed and I have not received a call.]

El More Toyota is in denial.  I had already answered their denial, but nothing changed.  I did not know I had rebuttal again.  In fact, there is no use rebuttal again.  I will be filing complaints with the attorney general and other organizations.
