Dear Revdex.com, We are in receipt of the complaint ID [redacted] Please see the response from our regional manager below: There was no evidence that the person’s fence was damaged when we put our fence up, however, we have noticed that there was a single fence post that is brokenThis could have been caused by any number of causes from the wind to kidsAs a good faith gesture we are going to replace the broken fence postOur goal is to have this done prior to June 1st but are limited to a schedule due to the underground utilities being located prior to any work being doneAs soon as they are located we will replace the broken fence post within hours Thank you, [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com,As a standard procedure: if we (the builder) sign the sales contract to build a home and purchase the lot chosen by the customer, we have committed to building the home at the price agreed uponIf for some reason, a buyer needs to cancel the contract after the process has started, we will review the circumstances as to what has caused this change, as well as where we are in the processIf we have not purchased the lot, we will refund their earnest moneyHowever, if we have purchased the lot and submitted for permits, then the determination is based on the buyers need to cancel the contractFor things such as a death in the family or a job transfer: we will refund the moneyIf they have just changed their mind then we typically do not refund the money since we have already made a large commitment based on the executed contract and earnest money received A lot of work goes into submitting permit information to the city for permits and clearing the lot from the bank The builder takes on the lot price immediately once the lot is deeded to us For that reason, we do need to make difficult decisions when making the determination on earnest money refunds The earnest money is intended to secure the commitment from the buyer for the large purchase the builder makes on the lot and the amount of work that is performed to initiate permits, and provide all documents to the banks

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I submitted a complaint on Endeavor Wall Homes earlier this month and their response to you is a big lie- first of all the lady [redacted] who submitted them to you is a person I've never even talked to second the complaints she said have been repaired have NOT been fixed- this company says on thing but does anotherThe warranty guy [redacted] did come out weeks ago and said his contractors will be right on it to make things right but out of the different contractors we need to come out only has showed and this is his 4th time trying to fix the same problem- they failed to tell you that we've had the painters out times to fix problem and it's still not right- same for electrical - plumber has been out times- septic man times concrete people times still job is not completed floor man times still waiting on him to return AGAIN- you have NO idea what is like dealing with this company- all we want is for them to finish the brand new house that we've purchased from them- we were promised everything would be finished in a timely manner but they've proved that they just keep telling lie after lie- that contractor did not have medical issues he has messed up so many houses in this neighborhood that they moved him to another area- they can't fire him because he got hurt on the job- see they didn't tell you that part- this is the 4th time they've moved him due to unacceptable work! Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I understand that there are costs related to beginning to build I have a family member who retired from serving as a superintendent on multiple construction jobs, including freeways, skyscrapers and homes However, that does not negate the fact that the sales representative sent my husband and I a cancellation form for us to sign that stated that we would receive the $1,back He also told us to expect the check within two to three weeks If that was a mistake on the part of the sales representative, the company should stand behind their word and take responsibility for what we were sent and what we were told Regards, [redacted]

We understand that there was some confusion with this process. We will refund the remaining amount of $165 to *** ***

Our construction manager has arranged for the supplier of the tubs to visit the home. We will continue to follow up to ensure everything is satisfactory

We are in receipt of a complaint assigned number ***. Following is our response: All homes are required to pass inspections during the build cycle. This home, as with all of our homes, very certainly passed city required inspections through every stage of
construction. The city issued a “Green” tag on this homeThe Buyer’s walk list was complete at the time of closing. If items are not completed, those items do typically go on a “warranty” list. We honor “warrantable” items for the first year of homeownership; and we have an easy to follow warranty system in place for warrantable itemsThe wire for the surround sound was missed, but has since been installedThe cracks in the concrete were inspected by the superintendent, the foundation engineer, and the concrete installerIt was determined to be shrinkage cracks and not structural, however we “capped” the back patio as a good faith gesture to the homeownerThe shower door frame the customer is concerned with was installed in accordance with our standards; however, because of her concern we have asked our shower door company to contact her and find a solutionWe have received one warranty request list for this address, which had two items on it. These items are in our system and we are working diligently to complete warrantable items.Endeavor Wall Homes will continue to honor and follow through with all items on our homes that are warrantableWe will be happy to continue working with this new homeowner to ensure all warrantable items have been completed Sincerely, *** *** Endeavor Wall Homes

We are in receipt of complaint number *** from *** *** ***. We will follow up to ensure that *** *** received the check that we sent nearly a month ago (see attached) for $1,earnest money. *** *** paid $to a mortgage company for an appraisalIt would be up to
the mortgage company to determine a refund for that portion. We encourage *** *** to discuss in detail the item(s) that can affect her credit score with the mortgage lender. The mortgage lender should be able to show her exactly what caused a drop. Endeavor Wall Homes does not have access to that informationThank you, Endeavor Wall Homes

We are in receipt of the complaint ID *** *** * *** ***.We have reviewed our warranty log in detailThe items were resolved in our standardtimeframeHowever, a few items did take a bit longer, and it was noted in our systemthat the homeowner missed appointmentsThis is
understandable, given homeownersbusy schedulesWe then rescheduled those missed appointmentsOur system indicatesthe concerns stated in the Revdex.com complaint were addressed prior to us receiving the letter.Once exception is the paint and trim in the bathroomThat is presently on the schedule tobe completed.Regarding the bushes: The homeowner was not happy with the bushes in the landscapepackageWe were surprised when the homeowner dug up the live bushes and threwthem in the model home drivewaySadly, those bushes were very much alive when theywere thrown onto our propertyUnfortunately, when a homeowner digs up live bushesand discards them in this manner, they are not covered by warrantyThe warranty bookletclearly states that items planted are the responsibility of the homeowner, as we cannot beresponsible to properly water and maintain shrubs.At this time, we have requested the homeowner to not bring his Rottweiler to the modelhome when confronting our personnel.We are diligently working on the homeowner's warranty itemsAs always, we willcontinue to complete warrantable items in a timely manner.If you have any additional questions, we are happy to discuss and provide information onour plans to complete warranty

I am rejecting this response because: I have to filed the full warran** list because I'm still finding things, I did it for the media room because I was having that room installed with the equipment and it needed to be done asap!!! A full warran** list is coming and there is not enough room to put what I have on itRight at this very moment I'm trying to get in touch with Orbit the company that did the irrigation system and the phone is never answeredSo the warran** list is on the wayWhat about the list that was hand written by *** and **? All those things haven't been fixed, if the list still existsI should've taken a picture of itAlso it might be a good idea not to tell the home owner that the people building the home was going off of the blueprint of another homeMaybe that's why things were missed!!!

Under these circumstances, we feel the right thing to do is to refund the $1,000 earnest money.  We will process that within the next 10 days.
