We had Energy Catchers install new windows in our home Even though I always do my research, I always seem to have problems with anyone I hire to do work at my home So, I was expecting the same with Energy Catchers I figured a window would come broken or they ordered the wrong sizes Nothing like that happened! They were great They came in, got right to work and installed the windows in one day They even fixed a problem with my subfloor that I had almost given up on I'd asked so many people to fix it and no one would I'm so happy that we hired them and I'm so happy with the windows Next year when we get new siding, we will definitely be using them again

Everyone has been extremely helpful, professional, courteous, and very considerate during this phase of my project. I was so impressed from the initial meeting about replacing the windows that I'm having them handle the siding project for the house. I would highly recommend Energy Catchers for your home projects!

He told me the windows would be ready in 3 weeks and he was exactly right. The installers were neat and professional. We are very satisfied with Energy Catchers and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

product not working as advertised; phone calls not being returnedI hired Energy Catchers in Dec of 2015 to replace a window, replace rotting fascia boards, and install the gutter guards "Shur Flo" on my gutters. The work was finished in January of 2017. I was assured by salesman [redacted] that if I had gutter overflow problems that Energy Catchers would fix the problem. During a heavy rain I took pictures of the overflow and called the company. In June the owner of the company, [redacted], came to meet me to discuss the problem. I think very highly of him he is pleasant and knowledgeable and honest and I really believe that he wants to solve the problem. On June 21st he left me a phone message providing an estimate of the cost ($987) to resolve the overflow issues. I have been trying to reach him ever since to find out exactly what will be done for that price. He did say that he thought I should have larger gutters, and that he would switch out the gutter guards to the larger size for no additional charge. I have spoken to [redacted] an employee of the company, who is also polite and helpful. Typically I leave messages with him or on [redacted]'s voice mail. am sympathetic that there may be good reasons for a delay in responding to me, but I'm not sure what else to do at this point to get [redacted]'s attention. I left messages on June 27th, July 1st, and July 15th. [redacted] did answer my second call on July 1st but we were immediately disconnected. I think he was traveling, but that does not explain why he didn't call back when he had a better signal. In the meantime I've gotten estimates from two additional companies. The first told me I should really go back to Energy Catchers first to see if they will re-level the gutters so that they will work with the gutter guards. The second pointed out that the back gutter was hung incorrectly; with extra gutter sticking out about four inches past the south side of the house, but too short to reach the north side. It looked to him as though they had to bend the downspout to get it to connect to the too-short gutter.Desired SettlementBecause of the difficulty I've had in getting attention from the company, I think the best thing to do at this point is to (a) have them take away the gutter guards and give me a refund and (b) reattach the upper back gutter in its correct location. Then I will hire a different company moving forward. Again, my interactions with [redacted] and [redacted] have been very positive. Perhaps because gutters are not their primary business interest their workers do not have the necessary skills. And the business needs to have an improved protocol for responding to customers in a timely manner. As far as the question below about speaking to the media, it is hard to see how that will help.
