We have look at this complaint and have not determined the multiple dents on the hood to be manufacturer defects When a vehicle goes to the shop for repairs it is standard procedure for them to mark with a colored pen any damage to the vehicleIn this circumstance there were multiple dents
within close proximity to each other which ultimately caused the body shop to have to replace the hood in order to repair the damage because they could not fix each dent individuallyThe damage noted in the pictures is outside of Enterprise's Damage Evaluator tool and is damage that we will still be pursuing *** *** for under claim ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
First, my photograph taken at the time of return does not show depressions to any part of the hood other than the driver's side. If other damage was identified and marked at your garage, it did not occur while the car was in my possession and was not identified by the Enterprise personnel who identified the depressions in my photos.Second, the area where the depressions appear is close to the fender but no depressions (or other marks) are seen on the adjacent parts of the quarter panel. It is highly unlikely that something falling on, on being pressed upon, the surface of the car would leave depressions at the edge of the hood with no markings on the adjacent surface. No scarring of the paint in the depressions was seen or captured in photos - it is unlikely the depressions were caused by impact or pressure from a foreign object, and more likely that they were present when the hood was painted. If I ever have the misfortune to have to rent from Enterprise again, I will be certain to identify every imperfection on the vehicle without regard for the damage gauge It is superficially a good way to make a subjective assessment objective, but in the end is of no consequence without positive objective measurements and proof

They did not resolve the issue about the fee for additional driver. I was told that is was only an extra dollars for the entire rental period, not per day. It was an additional$dollars for both rental periods, something I was not expecting

Branch Manager has spoken with the renter again and explained the additional driver feePer the Branch Manager, both sides understood and were satisfied with the solution

Revdex.com:
At this time, my complaint, ID regarding Enterprise Car Rental has been resolved
Sincerely,

The Branch Manager of the Steubenville location spoke with the renter and resolved the issues during their rental. The renter was refunded for the tire repair and inconvenience and sent the Branch Manager a thank you card in the mail.

Review: Picked up rental car November 3 from Enterprise rental car in Paso Robles.

Drove it to San Frncisco Airport November 4. Upon arrival am scrutinized for approximately 1 inch scratch to front right number. THIS DAMAGE WAS THERE WHEN I PICKED UP THE CAR FROM ENterprise when I picked up the car on the 3rd of November. Immediately called enterprise rental car in Paso Robles from San Francisco airport. They (Mitch, who is no longer there they tell me) told me that they knew damage was there when I picked it up, and that he would make sure that he would pass along that "customer did not cause the damage". Weeks later(now January I am getting letters and phone calls from claims department. Paso Robles Enterprise told me that they wills handle it, but I continued to get harraseed by their claims department.

Have since rented from both Avis and Budget without hassle, but ow I ALWAYS video record condition of car before I leave with it!

Again I DID NOT cause damage to vehicle and that acknowledge that verbally on the phone, but have not done anything to stop harrasing letters and phone calls. Will. Ever use Enterprise again. The damages total $300 for approximately 1" scratch that I did NOT cause, and manager told me I would not be held responsible for.Desired Settlement: Not to be held accountable for damage that I did not cause, and to be compensated for harrasment!
