Mrs. [redacted] does not exist in our reservation system as a customer that we accommodated. Mrs. [redacted] was referred by Enterprise Relocation to our carrier and was moved by them. It is our understanding from our records that the carrier have provided her with a new estimate prior to providing...

her with service. Since Mrs. [redacted] shipment was more than doubled in size, we understand why she complained about lack of man power and space on the truck. Since a binding agreement was reached between Mrs. [redacted] and the carrier prior to rendering service, we do not see her complaint as being valid. Enterprise Relocation simply referred her to another carrier and was not involved whatsoever with her move.

CONSUMER REBUTTAL TO BUSINESS RESPONSE : (The consumer

I do not accept the response from the
business.
class="MsoNormal">            1. On Washing machine issue- They

again false statement. They delivered the item one month after they picked up
from my old place. I have the signed records on when they picked up and
delivered.
Overall, why did they take so long( 2
years) to respond, That itself says that they are not telling the truth, and
why they are not settling my washer amount till now even though they agree that
is was an error from their part.
            Thanks,

Enterprise Relocation has no record for Ms. [redacted] as being one of our customer. It is possible that we served as an interlining carrier for her shipment but we do not have a contract under her name in our data base.

claims she was moved by Enterprise Relocation and she has a paperwork trail as well as a credit card charge slip. Please provide contract with Enterprise Relocation information on it as well as a credit card receipt showing Enterprise Relocation Services bank of American merchant credit card services charge. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you

Part of Mr. [redacted]'s contract's terms and condition excludes us the carrier from being liable for any delays that occur from any act of God or mechanical breakdown.  If we exclude the timeframe which was over a week that the carrier truck was broken while in route for Mr. [redacted]'s delivery; we are acknowledging a 2 business day delay and we have apologized for that.  As for Mr. [redacted]'s new complaint in reference to a claim for damages, our claims department insurance adjuster denied his claim for lack of proper documented paperwork trail.  Our record shows that almost no furniture was moved in his small shipment. At this time Enterprise Relocation is willing to send Mr. [redacted] $75.00 as a gesture of goodwill.

In reference to Ms. [redacted]'s continuing claim that she has been moved by Enterprise Relocation; we are requesting that she provides contracts to support such claim. If proof cannot be provided we ask that Ms. [redacted]'s complaint be moved from our name

In reference to Mr. [redacted]'s damage claim - we are
re-offering the same previous settlement of $225.00. Please send a consent to
our offer and we will mail a check for said amount.
In reference to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint
about late delivery, we understand his frustration. This resulted in the fact
of his misunderstanding of our delivery turnaround to upstate New
York.

We at Enterprise Relocation  re-emphasize that Mrs. [redacted] never had a reservation or a contract service or was moved by us. She can refer back to her contract and clarify who moved her.  Also, we are requesting that she provides a copy of  her contract and payment proof deposited into our account Enterprise Relocation Service INC

Review: My husband hired Enterprise Relocation to move us from Pittsburgh to San Diego. The final price ended up being much higher than he was quoted. They did not arrive on the day or time agreed upon to pick up our items and they did not deliver the items anywhere close to the time stated. Our things were finally delivered to San Diego but, we have an unreasonable amount of items broken, damaged and missing. We currently have over 10 boxes missing, as well as a printer and file cabinet. Since unpacking I have also found items that are not ours. I have tried repeatedly to get a hold of [redacted] so that we can ask for them to try and find our missing items or to file a claim and he does not answer his phone nor does he return calls. The Broker at Moveapt.com is not helpful either. They just keep saying "you have to speak to [redacted]". I have also tried to contact another number for their office and I can never get anyone on the phone or a return call upon leaving a message. In the mean time we still have missing items and a pile of broken things that we are taking photographs of. This business is nothing short of a scam. They will be available to you when you owe them the fee but after that there is no way to get a hold of them. They broke and lost a decent amount of our stuff and there is no one who will even speak to us. When companies act this way they leave you with no recourse other than to take legal action. I have called more than 7 times by now and since I can not get anyone to return my calls I have not been able to actually ever file a complaint.Desired Settlement: We would first like to be contacted by someone who is willing to be our point of contact for this company. We would like for our items to be located and if they can not be found we need to be compensated for all lost and broken items. This is the last attempt we are making to resolve this issue before elevating the course of action.

Review: the Ammount of money required to deliver our goods was changed after loading the driver and one helper arrived at my house at 830 PM on a friday to load a four bedroom house. they through a bunch of papers infront of my wife and told her to sign before they would load the truck. at 100 am my wife told them to leave and come back the next day, saturday. after loading the rest of our goods they demanded cash payment which was not the previous agreed upon debit card transaction. while sitting in the hotel a week later I called to find out when they were going to deliver, this is when I find out that they say my goods were 4,000 pounds over the estemite and now we owe them $2000 before they will even leave atlanta, then another $2000 (upon delivery). a full $2000 over the previous agreed amount. with no way to verify without unloading the truck to get an empty weight. my wife and I feel we are being robbed and are paying for the privledge to be robbed. I spoke to the local sherifs office and they agree. I am now in talks with the Norcross Police Dept. to try to resolve this with paying what I owe on the contract and no more. I have offered to pay in full the amount owed by weight after the truck is unloaded so we can see how much it really is, but they refuse.Desired Settlement: fair resolution for money owed and an apoligy to my wife and I for being accused of lieing.

Response:

On July 3rd, 2012 Mr. [redacted] received a move estimate by phone from Enterprise Relocation. He provided us with a detailed list of his inventory to be moved of 103. Our reservation system assessed a total weight of 6552 lbs. A price quote for 6552 lbs. was given via email in the amount of $2,950.00. On the day of Mr. [redacted] move a truck and a crew arrived at his house. The Foreman on the job, called our dispatch department and advised us that the customer grossly underestimated the list of items that he needed to move. Instead of a 3-4 hour loading time, the foreman assessed Mr. [redacted] loading time to escalate to 7-8 hours. The Forman then created a new visual estimate for Mr. [redacted] prior to loading. The revised estimate was for 11,000 lbs. at a new price of $5,110.00. Mr. [redacted] signature was obtained for the new estimate. In total 220 items were picked up by our crew. We have inventory documentation as proof. Mr. [redacted] shipment was weighed and was determined to be 11,040 lbs. Weight tickets are on file empty - 15520 full - 26560. A day prior to delivery Mr. [redacted] requested a reweigh of his shipment. For the reweight of Mr. [redacted] shipment he was given a choice to meet the truck at a weight scale of his choice. Next to his new address in LA. Mr. [redacted] made an appointment with us, however he never showed up. Our truck and team waited for him for more than 2 hours. After repeated calls from us, he answered his phone and said he is giving up his right for a reweigh. Mr. [redacted] actual bill based on weight was $4,969.00 and he paid in full. All rules and regulations were followed in Mr. [redacted] move. We went out of our way to accommodate his much larger shipment size and did not get one word apology or thank you from him for his gross misrepresentation for the size of his shipment. We are sorry to learn that Mr. [redacted] was unhappy with our service.

Consumer

Response:

Almost 2 years later you respond? What about holding my stuff hostage on the truck until I paid the last $300 in cash? What about my missing items? Chainsaw, ladder, and others that I have forgotten. What about all of the broken items that your guys packed? Where is my returned calls for damage claims? It is against the law to withhold household goods from being unloaded. I checked. Your customer service is appalling, your trucks are rented from "enterprise truck rental" you are using there name and logo to do business. I have notified them to watch out for complaints to them about you.

Business

Response:

We are responding to all of Mr. [redacted] claims. As for his claim that his shipment was held hostage on the truck at his delivery location. The law provide moving companies with a protection of collecting all monies due prior to offloading anyone's shipment. Also, Mr. [redacted]s has signed a contract and relating paperwork that all monies will be paid in full for all services in full prior to offloading his shipment. (documentation is available). In reference to his claim of missing items; we have gone through all his 220 items list of inventory and found that items number 26 and 240 are listed as ladders have been delivered and signed for. His claim for a missing chainsaw is not an item on his inventory list. Mr. [redacted] paperwork show that no notes were made at time of delivery for any broken items. No claim can be submitted if no documented notes are made at delivery time.

Enterprise Relocation is under a long term lease agreement for our trucks with Enterprise Truck Leasing as well as Ryder Truck Leasing. This is our choice of who we do business with and has nothing to do with the move of Mr. [redacted].

Enterprise Relocation has elected not to answer Mr. [redacted]s for over a year and a half because we found all of his claims unjustifiable and has no basis.

Consumer

Response:

Of course you don't have missing items on your list. That would be admitting fault. I have given my review, the law protects the consumer as well and this very thing has happened to many people with other companies and the law stepped in. There are other avenues of collection than holding household items hostage on the truck. We are done. I will not continue to waste my time dialoging with you anymore.

Review: Unfortunately, I came in contact with Enterprise Relocators but I didn't hire them. I contracted Flat Rate Movers, who subcontracted the job to them. They absolutely ripped me off upwards of $2600. They added fees for every little thing and did not even deliver my furniture when it was promised. The company that I originally hired, refused to help me, even though they hired this company to move me unbeknownst to me. I had to lose money, taking off from work and missing previously scheduled appointments, to try to accommodate the manager who changed the form of payment they could receive. It went from credit card for 80% of the move at pick up, which I was quoted when I made my reservation, to 50% in cash at pick up, Enterprise relocators. When I didn't have that cash, they threatened not to deliver my things. When I called the company I booked my move with, flatrate movers, I got the run around. I went back and forth with them for days on end. This was the worst company I have ever dealt with and I have moved across this great country numerous times and have never experienced any company as horrible as this one. They added surcharges for things like a bin to put my weights in, but when my things were delivered yesterday, the weights were just out in the truck.

Product_Or_Service: movingDesired Settlement: Refund

I was surcharged $2558 and they need to give me at least half of that money back because they didn't deliver my things on time, nor did they do the things they charged me for. Also, I believe they are operating an under the table business because they kept trying to make me pay for the move in cash when the contract I made with the original company stated that only 20% of the balance would be due in cash at delivery.

Review: I hired these guys to move my stuff from Charlotte to Buffalo. Initially they said that will deliver everyting within a week, they took almost a month to deliver my stuffs. I have a 11 month old baby and my family had to sleep on the carpet for days. Also had call them several times to request my stuff to be delivered. The on were was pretty hard on me many times. The Manager was the one who dealt with me but he also kept telling false things. Finally when they delivered, they lost my washer(laundry) machine. It's almost looks brand new. They brought in the wrong one and I had to return it back. Also they broke couple of things. I have pictures of everything. They never replaced or sent me any claims forms to provide my claim. They are not returning my phone calls either. They also charged me $200 bucks more than my binding fee.Desired Settlement: Refund

I need my washer back or they should compensate me with money for all the distress they have caused me so far. It's been more than 2 months without a washer and I had to rent it from leasing office. Also couple of times had to take our clothes to coin laundry. They have brought tremendous mental stress. I need compensation for what they have done.

RECEIVE BUSINESS RESPONSE : In reference to Mr, [redacted]'s

complaint about the delivery of his items to his final destination. Mr. [redacted]'s

turnaround of delivery with his signature on file is within 14 business days

delivery from the earliest date he is available to receive his items. His

shipment was delivered in a timely manner.

In reference to his missing washing

machine; we acknowledge the human error. There was no way to retrieve the

washing machine as it was delivered to a different customer, and said customer

was not cooperating with us. Mr. [redacted] was verbally offered a compensation of $225.00

which was an amount double his basic liability of .60 cents per pound per

article. Mr. [redacted] reject our compensation offer.

In reference to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint

for additional charges "beyond his binding quote": Enterprise

Relocation does not provide binding quotes. Customer's are charge for the basic

estimate and any other additional services that are provided; required for the

transportation of his shipment.

Consumer

Response:

I cannot agree to take $225. See below the email chain that

I exchanged with the Movers manager [redacted] on some of the items that got damaged

and some that got lost for which I did not get any further response.

Only there was talks about my washing

machine which in below email attached.

So what about my other damaged and

lost items compensation, I do have photos as well.

Also for the past 21 months(June 2013-

Marc 2014) I have been renting washer through my rental apartment. I incur $20

per month for this.

If I add up those months, I had

already paid $420 till now on using the washer.

I can agree to $700 compensation at

this which includes my lost washer, other damaged and lost items and overall

because of late delivery I had to buy basic things at home like comforters,

utensils etc. to ensure my family is taken care.

If

I calaculate all these it will go more than $1000 but I am willing for a

settlement of $700.

Review: Non-delivery of my personal items that was pick-up from the Origin on June 15, 2012(27 days ago).

On or about June 11, 2012, I entered into contract with Enterprise Relocation Services based out of Norcross, GA to pick-up my personal items from Phenix City, AL and deliver them to Killeen, TX at a cost of 864.00. The payment was in three installments, in which I had already paid two of the installments. Once the company pick-up the items from the Origin on June 15, 2012, I was informed that my items will be delivered to the Destination within 7-10 business days. I have been calling the company since June 29, 2012 to see the status of my shipment. Everyone I have talked to ([redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]) keep telling me my stuff is coming and they will call me back. As of July 11, 2012, I have not received one call back from any of the three people I mention. Someone called my wife on July 09, 2012 informing her that the truck broke down in Dallas, TX. This doesn't make any since that I can not get a true response from anyone in this company, but when it comes to money they want me to still pay the full balance of $290.00 once the shipment arrive to the destination. I'm a very dissatisfied customer!!!!! I would never recommend or use this company again!!!!Desired Settlement: My personal items be delivered to the orginial destination as agree upon.

Review: This is in reference to our move with Enterprise Relocation/ Preferred Relocation on 3/29/13 from Fairmont, West Virginia to Irving, Texas. We initiated our move with Preferred Relocation, however made our payments to Enterprise Relocation & the order was picked up by Enterprise Relocation. Enterprise/ Preferred picked up our goods on March 29, 2013 in one truck. The shipment was divided between 2 trucks without our knowledge & shipment with one truck was delivered on April 26, 2013, while the other truck delivered the goods to a storage facility in Florida. In spite of our payment in full of $1440 as of 4/26/13, Enterprise Relocation has not fulfilled its obligations to deliver our goods. Since that date, we have continually requested delivery of the remaining items & were told they will be delivered, including notification by email on June 4 2013 that the items were in transit. This notification was sent by [redacted] from Preferred Relocation via email & her email has her signature from Preferred Relocation. However, since then Enterprise Relocation/ Preferred Relocation has not delivered our goods. In my last conversation with [redacted] @ Enterprise Relocation on 1/6/14, the goods are lost & there is no claim form that he can send to complete the claim process since at the time Enterprise did our move, their license had been revoked & was unauthorized to complete the move. Enterprise did not provide us with a Bill of Lading as well. There was 1 large suitcase & 7 extra large boxes that were not delivered. the total cost of lost items is $1750.Besides the total worth of items as $1750, we paid for the whole move, but Enterprise did not deliver all of the goods, so Enterprise should have pro-rated the cost based on the amount of goods actually delivered. Because that did not happen, Enterprise owes us the amount they overcharged us by.Enterprise is not willing to work with us on this issue.Desired Settlement: Besides the total worth of items as $1750, we paid for the whole move, but Enterprise did not deliver all of the goods, so Enterprise should have pro-rated the cost based on the amount of goods actually delivered. Because that did not happen, Enterprise owes us the amount they overcharged us by. Enterprise should do the right thing by paying the entire claim amount since they did not deliver our goods & its been almost 9 months.

Review: We moved from West Virginia to Dallas and took the moving estimate from Preferred Relocation. Enterprise Relocation moved our goods on the day of the move and we signed the contract with them. Only some of our goods were delivered back to us in April. We have still not received the rest of our goods. As per the information we received, our goods have been located and were incorrectly shipped to Florida. However despite repeated calls/emails we have not received our goods. This is the worst service you can get. They have found our goods but still are refusing to deliver it to us.We have been constantly in touch with [redacted] at Preferred Relocation who has been trying to resolve this for us with Enterprise but so far Enterprise Relocation has not delivered our goods or given any timelines by when they can deliver the goods. Desired Settlement: Refund

Need the company to deliver our missing goods to us or compensate us with the amount. So far we have not received any thing from them.

Response:

I should certainly exist as your customer along with my husband [redacted]. The shipment we had to be moved was not doubled in size from what we had listed to move. We may have had one box more then what was stated, but that was all. They were still unable to fit everything that we had listed in the truck they brought with one guy to load it. Please explain to me how one person is supposed to properly move a king size mattress, living room suit, kitchen furniture, etc. It is not possible. The gentleman told us at the day of pick up the guy who was supposed to help him called off sick so now that was our fault??? Not to mention still being called a liar, the list of items we had not fitting on the truck, doubled the price after all was said and done as we had to pay to get our property, and not delivering on time. It was infact done by enterprise relocation services as that is the paperwork I have, and never ok'ed anyone else to touch our items.

Review: I am not sure if I am in the correct complaint department because there are so many things that were wrong with my delivery/moving request and it has been so long since it happened. I moved in June of 2012 and when the movers came to pack my things up they seemed very nice and I was not concerned about my things until they delivered them to my new location in California. When the truck showed up my things were thrown all over the truck and not organized at all. There were a lot of things that were damaged, broken and missing. When I called about it no one would return my phone calls. I was told I was going to get reimbursed for the damages but never got anything. I was also missing boxes and I understand that things like this happen and that's the risk that I take but the fact that my things were thrown all over the truck makes me think that this could have been avoided, and the boxes that I never got were very important boxes things that money can not replace.Desired Settlement: Refund

Like I said before money can not replace these personal items but I would like the proper procedures to be taken into action in order to find them or a refund of the things that were damaged or missing. Thank You.
