Enterprise Rent-A-Car file: [redacted]        Your File Number: [redacted]                Dear Ms. [redacted],We are in receipt of your complaint dated September 19, 2016, outlining the request from [redacted] filed with your office. This office handles damage claims for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. We appreciate you giving us an opportunity to investigate this matter further. Mr. [redacted] was involved in an automobile accident with an Enterprise rental vehicle (a 2015 Chevy Cruze) on June 12, 2016 in Seattle, Washington. The facts of loss reported to the rental location stated a vehicle driven by Mr. [redacted] collided with the right side of the rental vehicle. Mr. [redacted]’ insurance carrier, [redacted] was billed for the damage to the rental vehicle on July 26, 2016. [redacted] denied liability on August 03, 2016; our office ordered a copy of the police report to gather more information. On September 09, 2016 we received [redacted]’s denial letter indicating there was no policy coverage for Mr. [redacted]. Since the denial was due to an invalid policy and not a denial of liability, our office left voicemail for Mr. [redacted] and sent a letter via US Postal mail asking for payment. Mr. [redacted] called back the same day and advised our renter was at fault for the accident. When our representative advised the claim was denied policy coverage, Mr. [redacted] said he would call back with the correct policy information. On September 19, 2016 our representative received voice messages from Mr. [redacted] advising the rental vehicle hit his truck, that he had a witness, and asked that our office contact [redacted]; he also advised he was not responsible and would not pay our claim. On a subsequent call the same day, Mr. [redacted] asked that our office stop sending correspondence to him. An email was also received from Mr. [redacted] asking for our representative’s supervisor information. On September 20, 2016 the police report was reviewed by our office and it indicated that our renter, [redacted], was cited for the accident, prompting our file to be closed the same date. Our office is no longer pursuing Mr. [redacted] for this damage claim. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and should you have any additional questions, please contact our office at the number below. Sincerely,Tulsa Damage Recovery Unit866-300-3239
