Review: there have been several occasions now that EPCOR has failed to handle timely processing of my payment that has resulted in harassing phone calls generated by an auto call , in which I finally had to remove my phone number from the account as I was told that would be the only way to stop the calls , and now this time it took EPCOR over 3 weeks to process my payment. This was conveniently blamed on my bank which says they have proof EPCOR received the payment 3 weeks before they processed it to my account. when trying to deal with the issue I have to use a call center that tells me my local office may be able to help more , however there is no way for me to call them as I would have to have the call center send a message for them to call me back.Desired Settlement: would like to see EPCOR join the 21st century and update their systems to allow 1 day electronic delivery of payment if that is reasonable seeing how all my other bills are processed by my bank that way as well as apologize for their lack of diligence in timely processing of payment instead of blaming the bank and the us postal service

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

1st of all this was not a Friday we didn't get till Monday and then we handled it issue... this business did not process my payment for a whole billing cycle ...2nd of all I removed my phone number from their directory because I have never received a call from this business that was not an auto message call harassing me , and I removed my number at the suggestion of one of their employees who said that would be the only way to stop the auto generated calls. if this was a simple fix as they say why then did it take almost the whole billing cycle to fix as well as they sent me a passed due notice, if this was fixed as they said I would not have received a passed due notice on the next months billing cycle as well as an electronic payment sent to them should have processed immediately , did they just wonder where all this money is coming from and really have no idea a billion dollar banking industry like [redacted] / [redacted] was sending it on behalf of the customers?? I know all my electronic payments sent from chase bank come with the account number to apply the payment to , so once again why they took a whole billing cycle to fix is ridiculous I would like a written apology from epcor sent to me , they have no problem sending out harassing phone calls and past due notices , a simple apology letter shouldn't be too much to ask , if it makes them feel better it can be a generic apology letter to all their customers.... explaining the mix up and apologizing for the inconvenience and billing hassles created.
