I am rejecting this response because: Your airline sent me a confirmation of my tickets validity which included the statement "Your reservation is booked and confirmedThere is no need to call us to reconfirm this reservation." The confirmation your airline provided also included all departure and arrival information pertinent to the flight I booked as well as the following information:*** * ***Travel dates Aug 27, - Sep 29, 2017*** *** *** ***

The worst Customer service in the worldAfter purchasing my E-ticket from Ethiopian Airlines, it was required that I complete a credit card authorization form along with photocopies of my Driver's license and credit card and faxed to themI fulfilled all these required and sent to themThe next day, I recieved a phone call from their agent to confirm that I wa the owner of the credit card, and authorizing them to deduct the air fair which I agreed and the amount was deductedThen came the departure date; at the airport, I was told that my credit card wasn't verrified (a litle background: The ticket was purchased from USA but the passengers were taking off from Cameroon, Africa and that's why an authorization was needed for the ticket to complete)Back here in USA, the time diffrence is hours behind that of Cameroon, so there was no one in DC at 3AM to resolve the issueThe flight took off without my passengersBefore then, I had called the headquaters in Addis-Ababa and Cameroon to resolve the issue but to no availI was told that only DC could do the credit card authorizationI started calling at 9AM but could only get someone at DC on the phone at 9:10AM, spoke to her and exchanged emails and phone numbers and she promised to re-schedule the flight in the next two days and that an email will be sent to me to that effectI re-submited all the previous required documentation, that is, credit card authorization form and photocopies of my Driver's license and credit cardBy 3PM I had recieved no email nor phone call from her so I called her again but it went directly to voicemailI searched the net and found another agent here in USA and explained the situation to her and she took my information and put me on hold for over minutesAt this point, the time was already 4:45PM and their office closes at 5PMShe quietely transfered me to one of the worst customer representative agent ever who told me that I was to add another $(for penalty and re-sheduling) to the existing fair of $I had paid alreadyRememer, this was no fault of mine because we has completed the verification process earliierHe wasn't willing to listen to any further explanation and told me there was nothing he could do and that if wasn't goin to pay the money, then goodbyeI called Addis Ababa once more and explained myself once again, ond they gave me the manager's number and I had to repeat myself to her and now, it was aleady 4:59PMShe decided to re-issue the ticket and my nightmare was overMy question is, is the cheaness worth the problem a customer will go through? I DEFINITELY will not fly Ethiopian Airlines in the nearest futureTime is money; I spent from 3AM to 5:30PM just to resolve a simple ticket that wasn't my faultCustomers who traveled to the main city got stranded at Yaounde airport for days due to the incompetent agent(s)If I could have this problem in USA, what about those in the less previleged countriesI therefore will be bringing this nonchalant, lackadaisical behavior to th co-operation in Addis Ababa

My parents came to visit me from Sudan last week . They arrived to Newark airport 7/** via Ethiopian airline . Unfortunately my mother missed her luggage . We were trying to locate Ethiopian airline station at the airport to file a complaint and it took us a while . The lady who was there didn't have any clue about the procedure and she asked me to wait for the shift supervisor . Shift supervisor ripped a piece of paper and asked me to write my bag description and my Info . He didn't give me a phone numbe because there is no one . I called the main office in Washington and they gave me a guy name Amher phone number , when I called him he told me he isn't seeing any claim under my father name or his luggage tag number . He promised to send a signal and let me know . I'm trying to contact him last 2 days but no response . I don't know what to do . It's my last time ever to use this airline either me or my family .

Review: We purchased 4 round trip tickets from Los Angeles International Airport to Dublin Ireland. Reservation code: [redacted]

This was for Flight ET 505 from LAX on June **, 2015 and flight 504 from Dublin on July *, 2015.

This was the first flight ever from Los Angeles for Ethiopian and there was trouble with the ticketing when we arrived at the airport. Our boarding passes had to be, from what they were telling me, cancelled and then re-issued. We stood on the side of Ethiopian's windows for at least 2 hours while phone calls went from there to headquarters.. eventually we got those passes and were able to board the plane (which was late due to others with the same problem.. had something to do with a bug in the online reservation system)..

My problem is now that Ethiopian doesn't want to honor our Frequent Flier mileage.. they claim the tickets were 'Void' and won't listen to my numerous attempts to explain to them the problems we had getting on that plane. They have been treating me like I made some type of mistake rather than working with me to try and correct an issue that was ENTIRELY a problem within their system. I understand it was a 'maiden' flight, and figured they would be willing to help me correct whatever issues came from that initial problem... but so far.. after many emails and conversations back and forth.. and 3 months of attempts.. all I get is "Tickets were Void".. there MUST be somebody there that can look at this situation and work this out?Desired Settlement: Want to see the frequent flier miles due to us.. credited to our [redacted] accounts.

Review: My son had flight from Addis to Los Angeles CA. He departed on September **/15 from Addis and arrived on Sep.**/15 at Los Angeles CA air port on flight ET 0504. My sons name is [redacted]. I bought the ticket from [redacted]. It was one way ticket and my son is 11 years old and they charged me $764.82. When my son and his aunt went to pick-up the ticket and fill the unaccompanied form for miners at your office in Addis Abeba, the ticket office charged me another about equivalent $200 and for unaccompanied service $50 . Ones I have the ticket from legal travel agency you have to value the ticket . Instead your ticket office in Addis charged me more money. In addition to this, your airlines didn't delivered the promise. My sons immigration paper work was forgotten in Addis Abeba airport by your airport agent. The agent (She) have to give the documents to the flight crew. After he arrived at Los Angeles air port, the US custom office cant allow him to inter the country . My son was crying and suffering the whole time in the customs office after the other kids are allowed to see there parents. My wife was suffering thinking that the customs will send him back to Ethiopia . Because of this situation I parked my car in the parking garage for longer time. After the fact instead of driving back to My home town Las vegas I staid in Los Angeles in the hotel, and paid one day extra car rental, and food expenses . My sons immigration process is still not fixed because of your employees mistake. . I don't know how your airlines handle such kind of problems. I hope your company will fix this problem as soon as possible. I sent an email complain to your customer care department, but I heard nothing until now .Desired Settlement: refund all my expenses .
