I had given them multiple opportunities to make it right, and at every point I was spoken to disrespectfully, and dismissed

After Calling the company to try and reach a resolution, the customer service member was extremely rude while speaking to meI then asked to speak to a manager who proceeded to tell me the issue was not their problem and they would do nothing to try and reach a resolutionIt was not until I filed a Revdex.com complaint they did anythingThis of course was too late because I had already paid someone to resolve the issueI have already paid someone else to have my resolution fixed, I do not however want my claim closedThe company was extremely rude on the phone and very difficultThey would wait at least hours if not more to respond to my emails, and every time they would end up sending the same responseThey waited to send me a return label until I had already paid someone to install the hitch that was advertised to be able to be installed without drilling or weldingThey have poor business ethics, and etiquette

I am rejecting this response because: It misses the point of the complaint, that at the INITIAL point of sale "add to cart", the fact that an additional cent screw is required for the part to be usable is NOT at all mentioned One would have to scroll all the way down to the very end of the listing (much further down) to see a notation (next to another "add to cart" tab) that an additional cent screw is required The company encourages clients, by the layout of its page and the location of the first (and only visible at that point) "add to cart" notation, to purchase an incomplete product When (and IF) a client notices the discrepancy, company then charges another full shipping fee, refusing to join the two "orders" despite an immediate call to customer service The additional shipping fee is 900% of the 2nd item's cost (Company is apparently notorious for deceptive shipping practices) Company response is disingenuous at best and not acceptable.Sincerely,*** ***

I am rejecting this response because: Thank you for responding, when I purchased this it was on back order you saidI trusted youIt took weeks, and this is the condition I received it in rusted and damagedThe box was falling apart when I received itI was disappointed and had waited weeks for something that you sent negligently ! would like a replacment of what I ordered in new conditionI have to pay money to package this up...and time and I am very busy...if you refund me half the amount I will just use the item until I have to purchase another based on the damageI think that is fair since I already have this heavy cargo carrier...I believe that is more then fair..it not being my responsibility for the items condition and problems it cause me as a customer ...
