Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: I heard this before when I previously filed a complaintIt took Mr*** seconds and thought to type that.What reassurance do I have that I won't be filing another complaint in the future?
Does Euro Tech face any consequence for violating the agreement made for the previous case? Will there be any consequence the next time one of their sales reps knocks on my door after previous Revdex.com cases?I don't have any faith in a company that has yelled at me on my own doorstep, required a first Revdex.com case to stop calling me, and continues to show up, all while using deceptive business practices to get my information because some previous home owner years ago bought a couple windows from them.I will be happy when they can prove real steps have been taken, and there's a real recourse if and when it happens

BOTH ROOF AND SIDING WERE INSTALLED IN AUGUST OF THE CUSTOMER CALLED KRESTA REQUESTING SERVICE ON SOME DECKING THEY THOUGHT SHOULD BE REPLACEDWITHIN A FEW DAYS OF BACK AND FORTH EMAILS SHE HAD SET A DAY FOR SERVICEONCE KRESTA WENT OUT AND DID THE SERVICE ALL WAS WELL
THEN WE RECEIVED A SERVICE CALL FOR AN ISSUE ON THE DECKING AGAIN, THE CAPPING AROUND THE GARAGE (WHICH WE DID NOT DO), A TRELLACE IN THE BACK YARD THAT WAS DAMAGED, AND THE CUSTOMER WAS REQUESTING MONEY BACK FOR A DAMAGED WINDOW ON DECEMBER 19TH WE SENT MIKE OUR SERVICE TECHNICIAN OUT TO ADDRESS THE WINDOW ISSUE AND TAKE PICTURES OF THE OTHER CLAIMSWE ALSO GAVE THE SERVICE TO KRESTA WHO IS OUR PROJECT MANAGER FOR ROOFING AGAIN TO ADDRESS THE DECKING ISSUESSHE SENT ME PICTURES OF THE ISSUES VIA EMAIL ON JANUARY 2ND WITH A DESCRIPTION OF EACH CONCERNTHE CUSTOMER HAD SPRAYED THE SIDING WITH SOMETHING THEY SAID WAS ECO FRIENDLY BUG SPRAY AND DAMAGED THE PANELSI EXPLAINED TO THE CUSTOMER THAT THIS WAS HOME OWNER DAMAGE AND IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTYWE WOULD HAVE LOVED TO JUST FIX THE ISSUE, BUT NO MANUFACTURER WILL SUPPLY MATERIALS AND LABOR FOR AN ISSUE THAT WAS CAUSED BY THE END USERIT WOULD BE AS IF YOU DROVE A CAR OFF THE LOT AND RAN INTO A MAIL BOX AND THEN ASKING THE DEALER TO FIX THE CAR'S DAMAGEWE INFORMED THE CUSTOMER, SINCE THEY WERE ALREADY OUT OF THE YEAR LABOR WARRANTY THEY WOULD BE CHARGED FOR THE MATERIAL + LABOR TO HAVE THE PANELS REPLACEDWE BELIEVED THIS WAS A FAIR AND EQUITABLE OFFERWE DO NOT TRY TO MAKE MONEY ON OUR SERVICE, WE JUST TRY TO COVER OUR COSTSWITH OVER 22,CUSTOMERS OVER YEARS IF ALL SERVICE WAS FREE, WE WOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESSAT THE TIME THE CUSTOMER REFUSED SERVICE, DUE TO THE COST OF THE SERVICE CALLWE ALSO WENT OUT AND REPLACED THE SASHS ON THE WINDOWS BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER FELT THEY WERE DAMAGED ALTHOUGH THEY WERE WELL WITHIN FACTORY SPECSTHIS WAS ALL DONE FREE OF CHARGE! To start, we had contracts...5/8/(house) and 7/26/(garage)Our complaints were all made within our warranty...as soon as a problem arose, we contacted Euro-Tech right awayThey only did sashing on the windows they installed...We still have siding on the front of the house that is not secure, they installed a window in the garage that was defective, in which Euro-Tech came out and took pictures, several times....that's it! They installed a window screen on the house that was also defective...nothing has been done to rectify any of thisAbout the bug spray that stained the siding on the house...it was a natural bug spray containing lemongrass oil...we were told that it was warrantied against any stainingI used the same bug spray around our old siding and it never stained! They've admitted to not doing the cramping around the overhead door on the garage and nothing has been done about that either!The decking they talked about had to do with the garage...we had plywood boards in contract, would be applied to the garage roof, if needed they only took care of one side, leaving the other side with moldI was told to spray bleach or "Kills"You can still see light coming through, because the problem wasn't correctedThey mentioned the trellis...yes, it was damaged, but not my main concernI am appalled by the way we are being treated as customers when we paid good money to have this work done and even paid them in total for the work that has been done on the houseAt the beginning, we had roofing come up and they came out right away to fix it...we didn't think there would be a problem with any of our issues, seeing that they're suppose to stand behind their work, and what we have complained about...anyone would do the sameThey may have called, but if nothing has been taken care of, why deal with them...we went to Revdex.comIsn't the customer always right?

This contract was cancelled and the deposit was returned within 30 days of sale. The salesperson is new and did not know we do not have a door installer to install a single storm door.

We should be receiving the new replacement glass soon. When we do we will be contacting the customer to replace their glass unit.

This customer has been put on our do not call list.

We have called the customer on two separate occasions and have left a voicemail requesting a call back and had no response. If email would be better please provide an email that you would like to use and we would be happy to reach out that way. Our office number is 630-594-5046 ext. 2 for service department.

We have not had any correspondence with or from this customer since the date of install on 1/25/2017. We will reach out to the customer in hopes of resolving these issues.

The reason this customers frame was not fixed immediately, was we were trying to figure out if it was the company's fault. It appeared from the pictures that the dents were not caused by the window falling out.  Although, we were not sure the problem was the company's fault, we went out and...

re-capped this frame for the customer on or about the 22nd of the month at no charge to the customer.  This repair has already been completed. We did speak to the customer on the 17th and tempers from both sides were involved. The customer did agree that she should not called in screaming at my employees or at the owner of the company. I hope this resolution is to the customer's satisfaction. I am not sure why this Revdex.com complaint has been opened as the problem was already resolved.

the customer was already removed from our call list. We ask for the number that they want removed for 2 reasons. First many customers...

have multiple numbers. Secondly our CSR's do not have caller ID on their phones because they are on a multiple line connection. They cannot see the number that is calling in.

Our company, did have a representative in the area that day. Our outside marketing representatives set up appointments to follow up...

on by our trained estimators. The reason this appointment was not ran, had nothing to do with the dollar amount. It had to do with the fact it was a repair. Our installation crews, remove and replace exteriors of homes. They are installers not repair people. I apologize if there was a misunderstanding with this consumer. We called to follow up and apologize but, our apology was not sufficient.

This is just not true... The free estimate, which was already promised/scheduled, was not ran because it was possibly only $1,000. As I pointed out in my original post, when I received the call to confirm the appointment for the free estimate, it wasn't until after I informed Ashley that I wasn't replacing the fascia/soffit for the entire home. She expressed concern that the job "may be too small to send someone out" and then I inquired about what they meant by "small" because I have an estimate where I was quoted $1,000 for the work. She then places me on hold for several seconds then came back and declined to have someone come out and honor our promise for a free estimate. At the end of the day, I am looking to replace my fascia and soffit not repair it. Not to mention this company was soliciting in the area without a solicitation permit.

Again, we apologize to this homeowner for the inconvenience he experienced. We did visit his neighborhood to try to generate estimates. As I said previously, we do not do repairs to homes. Ashley specifically asked the customer if they wanted an estimate on there entire soffit and fascia and they said NO. They wanted a section replaced and they had an estimate of $1000. The $1000 estimate is not the reason we declined the estimate. It was because it was a repair. Again I apologize to this customer for their inconvenience. Other than apologizing, there is not much else we can do for this consumer.

They called me the day that I filed my complaint with you. That's the last I have heard from Euro-Tech Inc. It is now mid-November - the weather is deteriorating and Euro-Tech still has not gotten the materials to make the job right. I am stunned that they were given an A+ rating by Revdex.com. That's what they claim in their presentations and on their phone hold message.

The materials should be in any day and the crew will pick them up so we can schedule the service.
