I am rejecting this response because:The owner contacted me last Monday via telephone message stating that he was sorry about my issues with the service and that he would have my trash service picked up by Monday afternoon. Again, no one came to pick up the trash. So I texted owner at the number that he left for me and stated this. On Tuesday, I called the owner and had a very frank conversation with the owner and at that time (he hung up on me or disconnected our conversation and never contacted me back). I have a witness to attest to this entire conversation. After this conversation my trash was picked up on that day. But the trash bin was not picked up as I requested. I was very frank and told the owner that I no longer want this service and at the time to pick up the bin and that I wanted a refund. Quite frankly, the owner and the business do not knowhow to tell the truth. The response that the company gave to you is that my days were scheduled wrong by the company is just another excuse for this companies total incompetence. No one ever said that they did not have trucks or services in Waldorf and I do not care if the owner (lives in Charles County). There is questions about the corporate headquarters being located in Manassas Virginia and that the schedule and office staff work out of the office in Manassas, VA. I have been told this now by two different competitors and that this company has a large residential and business accounts in Waldorf and that is the reason why he stated they have trucks in Waldorf. The owner skated around the real issues is where the corporate office is located. Here are the facts, I do not want to do business with a company that does not stand by their word. I have had issues from Day with this company. This is the second time they changed my trash day without informing anyone. They just simply do not pick up the trash and then they just put out the fires or complaints as people call in. I have called into this company at least a half dozen times (which I am sure is NOT DOCUMENTED) because they FAILED to pick up the trash. The bottom line is (I want the trash can picked up that is in my driveway). That says EVERGREEN on it. Because I have obtained trash service from someone that is RELIABLE, LOCAL AND IS UNDERSTANDING ABOUT EXPECTATIONS of customers in customer service. The bottom line is CUSTOMERS are tired of being lied to over and over and over. Customer service needs to be revamped for this company that is the bottom line. The real issue with this company is that they expanded and can't handle this additional area or it is not as profitable and this is why they do not really care about our trash service. So this is what I want. I want my refund for the service as I have paid through July as the office manager told me and I want this trash bin picked up immediately. Nothing was resolved by talking to the owner. The only reason he contacted me directly is because I filed this complaint and sent the link to his office about the complaint. He did not resolve my issue. He hung up on me or disconnected the call. I do not have time for business that (do not care about customers or the service they provide). People expect the TRUTH. Not satisfied with the sales/customer service John, the rep that was going door to door, led me on to believe that additional trash would be picked up I could leave bulk items next to the trash can provided at no additional charge That is not the case I was also led to believe that I was signing up for a trial period of months, and could cancel anytime by calling That was also not the case My fault for not reading the fine print Apparently I signed a year long agreement The trash is scheduled to be picked up on Mondays What I failed to realize when the door to door salesman was putting me on the spot, was that most holidays fall on a Monday On Memorial Day weekend, my trash was never picked up The next holiday, my trash was not picked up until Wednesday I never called to complain because I figured I would just cancel the service after the months were up When I called to cancel my service, the Office Manager, Christine F* called me back She was not sympathetic at all She was very stern that they did not breach the contract that I signed and initialed (talking down to me as if I were a year old) I was surprised that they would not cancel my service even if I signed a year long contract, however they do have that right and I will honor the one year agreement She also refused to provide her last name, which is completely unprofessional as a representative of any company Also, not really hard to google it, so pointless Nonetheless, I'm writing a complaint that I was mislead and this small business is not negotiable It's in their right, but not advantageous to their company's success

This company is completely unprofessional. If I could give them negative stars, I would. We have had numerous instances of catching them throwing our recycling away, and missing our trash when it is put out the night before pick up. Our latest concern has been that they came to our house Friday to pick up the trash, but then left without putting it in their truck! (Have it recorded on video). We have tried calling and speaking to someone since last Friday. I only received a phone call back today telling me the trash can is improperly labeled, and they will not be able to pick it up. It is THEIR trash can! Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this company, they are awful!

We apologize for the inconvenience. Sometime it is difficult to tell from the office if an address is outside of our service area. We regret that we did not realize this sooner. For safety reason we do not permit customers on the yard. The office had the trash can provided on schedule to be collected on 01/31/18. The office was not informed that can the can had been dropped of by the customer. A full refund of the amount paid, as been refunded back to the customers [redacted] card. Thank you

Evergreens disposal system payment verification systems/”database” seems to not recognize/reconcile the payment(s) made by ones spouse or by another person. The end result reflected in a “no payment made” status to Evergreen thus causing them to take back their garbage can. To be fair I would to point out the account is in my wife’s name and not mine and they (Evergreen) did attempt to make contact in reaching my wife but did not reach her. My daughter received the call after school since usually she’s never home until we arrive, on that particular day she did because of X-mas break. I was then notified by my daughter that Evergreen called and wanted their money. I then called on December 30th 2015 to pay the bill that was owed. I clearly told the person that answered that I was the primary account holders husband and I wanted to make a payment on her behalf since we both work from 6:00am through 6:30pm sometimes even later which includes travel between home and work. The person then said that I could make a payment and proceeded to give the account number and helped me with obtaining access on the Evergreen website. I then made the payment online and thought that would be solution for the time being, the transaction even reflected on my bank account that funds were taken. My actions did not alleviate anything and we had our garbage can taken. I proceeded to make a call to Evergreen about a week later, explained the situation, talked to the Manager. It was explained to me that somehow the account or “database” was not reconciled to show payment even though I made a payment on December 30th. I really didn’t care to hear how the system failed, all I cared was how soon I can get a trash can out to my residence so that we can have our garbage taken. The answer I got was One week, which in my opinion was unacceptable. In my opinion, in the amount of time taken to get my payment I too should get my service and my receptacle expedited. My apologies for sounding stern or mad to the Manager but I just wasn’t taking one week as an acceptable solution/answer, no one should.

I have nothing positive to say here regarding the evergreen Disposal Inc. servicing Southern MD.
I used to have a trash service in the past but had stopped using it for 5 years. And just now starting again. I was surprised that there were so many of them now. I did call around and not knowing any better. Went with the cheapest one.
I called and signed up for the trash service with Evergreen Disposal Inc., in October 2016. They charged me the fee for 3 months (for Oct/Nov/Dec) in advance. The agreement was the trash was supposed to be picked up twice a week on Tuesday and Friday of each week, starting the following week of the account set up date. The trash tote was supposed to be dropped off on the first day of the service as well. First week, the trash tote got dropped off. The trash was picked up on Tuesday. On Friday, it didn't. I didn't call to complain right away because I gave the company benefit of a doubt that for the new service, they may need adjustment period. Not a big deal on the first week However, second week, the trash was only get picked up one day of the week and was sporadic since. I'm working full time during the day, and I did not remember to call them during my (and their work hours). The first time I called and complain, it was sometime in late October. I gave them enough grace period.
They came and picked it up the next day However, the service had not improved since then. The trash had been left the night before of the scheduled pick up days. Came home after work to find out that it did not.
The second time I called was in Nov, I expressed my dissatisfactory to them. They said I need to call and complain "every time". Meaning, I have to call them at least once a week? I was baffled. -- I'm sorry but what kind of business running this way? Normal business entities would strive to "not" have any complaints against their record. Well, not this one. -- With the Evergreen rep's attitude and I was started to get angry. I asked them to go ahead and cancel my service. I also requested the money back. They said I couldn't have my money back because I only called and complained one time. At that point, I was fuming. I asked to talk to the manager who wasn't available at that time. When she called me back, saying the same thing. I told that I didn't want to argue with her and did not want to deal with such company. I told them they could keep my 2 months fee but by law, they could not charge me for service that has not been rendered, in this case, should be partial month of November and full month of December 2016. Finally, she said yes, I would get a refund of $25 for the month of December once the trash tote got picked up along with my trash for the last time. That was in November 2016.
Today January 6, 2017, I still have not received the refund of $25 as they stated. I called them and the rep on the phone said that there was a refund of $5 credit on my account. They charge me $20 for trash tote recondition. I was speechless. I don't remember that piece of information. She said this information was printed on the bill. Well, I have never received the bill, haven't I? I just signed up for service, and they took my money in advance and their billing is quarterly. She did apologize that it wasn't communicated with me, and would request a refund to send to my address on record. She went on and said that not everyone wanted the refund (sure!). Some people wanted to leave it there and would be a credit to them when they sign up for the service again. -- I told her I definitely would not. -- But really think to myself sarcastically really?!?!? who in their right mind would?!!! --
I hope this review is helpful to any new customer that considering this company's service. I should have check it here before I signed up. Lesson learned. They are cheaper than anyone out there but I'd rather use the company that provide good consistent service. I did go back to the company I used 5 years ago. Some company will match the price, so before you sign up. shop around. Again, I would NOT recommend this company.

We changes this route so that service would not be provided at 5:30AM. The driver has been fines, and suspended for not following instruction.  Christine

This customer was invoiced by mail 09/10/16, for the Oct-Dec 2016 billing quarter. Payment was due by 10/15/16. The office has been calling this customer weekly since 10/20/16, with no response from the customer. We do have an outside collection department that will go out to try and contact...

[redacted] called in to report his trash was missed on 04/25/14. At that time we placed a flag on the account for the filed manager to watch his pick up's till 05/31/14. We have no other record of him calling in to report any other missed pick up's. At this time he has not informed the office...

that he wants his account closed. If he still wants to close his account he will need to call the office to schedule collection of his evergreen trash bin.

Our billing cycle is quarterly. Invoices are mailed out once every three months, 30 days in advance and payment is due at the beginning of the service quarter.  This customer was 90 days past due, and service had been stopped. The customer called in on their day of service and made payment...

to bring the account up to date. The customer service rep that collected the payment is new to the company. The customer service rep informed the office manger that payment had been made and the customer was wanting trash collection the same day. The office manager called the phone number on file and spoke with the account holders husband. It was explained that the service had been placed on STOP SERVICE, for being past due, and service had been restored and would be collected the following week on the next regular scheduled pick up day. The account holder sent in a Special Pick-Up Request by email later that same afternoon, at 3:42PM. The office manager called the customer to respond to the Special Request Service email, at 4:20PM. The customer stated since we were not going to collect her trash the same day, that she wanted to close her account and have the trash can removed.  The trash can has been removed, and a refund is being issued for the remaining credit left over after her close date.

truck was sent and did go back to collect her missed recycling items on Tuesday 03/15/16, no can was found out to be dumped.  [redacted] called back on Thursday 03/17/16 and reported the miss had not yet been collected. A truck was sent again on Thursday 03/17/16 following her call in.  [redacted] called on Thursday 03/24/16 stating she was concerned that recycling collection had been missed again. We informed her that at the time of her call the truck was still out in her area collecting the recycling. She stated she had lost her faith in us and wanted to cancel and receive a full refund. We have provided her with 1 trash and 1 recycling container. After we have collected both containers we will be issuing her a full refund of the billing cycle, to include her payment for her regular trash collection which she stated she had no problems with.  The containers were scheduled to be collected on 03/25/16. Our records show the last time this location reported a missed collection was in September of 2016. We have no notes on the account, and nothing in dispatch to show any reported issues in 2017. The staff that works on the trash collection truck can not remove trash cans. Trash cans are collected by...

a different department and truck. We tried to call the customer in March, to confirm the day we would collect the can, but the customer has a [redacted] account that did not have voicemail set up. We are going out Wednesday 05/24/17 to attempt to remove the can again. The customer can contact the billing department to review any remaining charges owed, or credit due back.

We have replaced the driver that services this location. A field manager is riding with the new driver to teach him the route. We have followed up with the customer. The office has not been notified of any other reports for missed service for this location.

This has been turned over to our Quality Control Manager. Quality Control will monitor this location for the next 30 days to ensure trash is collected on Thursdays. The manager will be out on Thursdays between 4 & 5 AM to check that trash is out. We will cross check at the end of...

the day against the driver log as well as the GPS on the truck to see exactly what time the trucks stops at this location.
