Executive Housing Strategies Inc Reviews (36)

Buyer beware! I signed up with this company in May 2015. I have continually reached out to this company about renting my timeshare. I am always told that they are marketing it. In October I lowered the price. They do not reach out to you and insist that you must reach out to them. You would expect that an honest company would reach out to you and discuss ways to get the timeshare rented. I want a company where we can work together. This company is all about them.

They take your money and if you don't reach out to them they never contact you. Of course when asked they state that they only reach out to you when they have an offer. They state that it is up to you to reach out to them. That is not what I expected when I signed up with them. What a joke!!!

I have contacted them every 90 days or so and always the same story. They are marketing the property. I am sure that once I get a rental that they will have some excuse not to refund the money. Like it was not at the same property that they were trying to rent.

So far I am very dissatisfied with this company. I want a company that will work with me not throw the contract in my face like they do. Don't be pushed into signing up with this company.

I have been working with Executive Housing Strategies since July, 2016. Actually, I sit back and wait for rental requests & they do all the work. I have had no major problems with them. They do what they say. Areas for improvement are when I first signed up (I'm new at this.) I had lots of questions. I could not get them on the phone; but they are quick to respond to emails. Which was OK. I am happy and will continue to use they for my excess vacation points. the three hour time difference is not an issue either. The requests are waiting for me when I get up. It's a good start to the day.

Executive Housing has located renters for my excess [redacted] timeshare points.

They contacted me in the Fall 2015 to be a villa source for my excess [redacted] units. I have recovered my membership fee in less than 1 year, and will continue to use excess [redacted] points for renters Executive Housing locates.

I would recommend them to anyone with excess timeshares.

very friendly customer service, got 2 rentals in one year so far

We just spoke with EHS. We listened a long to Gus tell us how things work and then he transferred us to Paula or Paulette, not sure what her name was. She kept pressuring us to give her our payment info, although we wouldn't yet be charged, to lock in the special rate today, normally $1595, today $1117. We told her 2-3 times we wanted to read what they emailed us first and she finally said ok and hung up on us. That is totally unprofessional and gives the impression it must be a scam.

I used executive housing stragegies to rent my timeshare. All planning went well and they treated me awesome.

I am not exactly certain when I wasted my money with this company. My intuition tells me it was November 2014. My experience is nearly identical to the other complaints posted in this review. I do recall my conversation with EHS's sales representative however. I'll omit his name out of professionalism. He gave his pitch and wanted to know which method of payment I would be using. He didn't even give me the opportunity to say that I was not interested. Red flag immediately. I did however start asking a lot of questions which seemed to perturb the sales rep. Most of the questions he either disregarded or danced around the question. He did tell me that there was no guarantee that EHS could rent out my property. I then asked him to give me the probability that I could rent out my property. I asked if the probability was greater than 90% that I could rent this property out and create a return on the investment EHS wanted me to make. He would not say "yes" but only answered "that is realistic." I asked if the phone call is recorded and was told that the next representative (I'm assuming this is the person that seals the deal) would be recording the conversation, which was true. This person only asked if the sales representative made an explicit guarantee that my Time Share property would be rented, which he didn't exactly, so I had to answer that he did not guarantee a rental. I briefly discussed with my wife and we decided to make the investment because we weren't going to be able to travel for the next 14-18 months and could create some revenue in the meantime.

They did however give me a few phone calls in the weeks immediately following the sale like promised. A few weeks later, I received a letter and a member card with an offer to spend more money on anything from horse carriage rentals to circus tickets. At this point, I still had a positive outlook. Weeks and months rolled by and no contact whatsoever from EHS and perish the thought of a rental. Finally, in about the May or June timeframe, I called their offices. I was put into contact with a lady named Samantha. Her explanation was that there was some interest in my property but the asking price was too high. EHS set the asking price and could have easily contacted me to ask if I would accept a lower offer. I made this point to her but she seemed not to even hear it. She advised me to lower the asking price by $300 and that should help with getting the property rented, which was acceptable to me. She also told me that if there was no activity within the next 30-60 days, EHS would investigate to see what was happening. I have not heard a single syllable from EHS since that day and I have been a client for almost a year. I have tried to call back at least eight times and always get a message that they are unavailable, please leave a message (messages have not been returned). I have tried to contact EHS via email and still no contact. By this time, I am completely agitated and sent them an email asking for a refund of my investment. After all, EHS has not delivered on its service. As a company, if you can't deliver what your service says it will deliver, you are ripping people off. From the other reviews posted that I viewed, EHS has a 77% dissatisfaction rate. That should tell the general public that EHS is either terrible at delivering on its service or EHS simply doesn't care at all about the clients they represent.

My recommendation to anyone who has the chance to purchase the "service" EHS provides: hang up the phone immediately and block the number because they are trying to sell you snake oil.

After years of negative experiences with our timeshare and over $50,000 invested, we are finally benefiting from our investment. I used EHS to advertise and within a month and a half, our points were rented and we had our first payment on it's way. We were offered $1950 for our 1 bd 1 bath rental, and negotiated it up to $2100. Working with EHS has been easy and of all the rental scams out there we found the real deal. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we weren't able to receive our first payment via direct deposit, and had to be home to sign for a check to be delivered. But the check cleared and now we can have our second and third rentals earnings deposited into our account.

This has made our lives so much easier.

We received a phone call from a guy named TJ back in March of this year. He said he worked for Executive Housing Strategies and wanted to know if we had any points available with our Timeshare Resort that we would like to Advertise for Rental.
The idea sounded intriguing. However, I was skeptical, since we did not have any proof of where he was calling and we have received calls from others asking for money upfront.
Right off he offered me his license number and advised me the call is being recorded for my protection.

TJ took time to explain how their advertising and rental program worked. He was very patient and answered my questions. He also advised us that there is a fee for us to signup. The way he explained the fee and the reason for it made sense, especially knowing that they offered a Money Back Guarantee.
Even though we have yet to finalize a rental, the experience has been positive so far and my calls have been answered whenever I called the company.

I spoke with a woman named Laura about renting my timeshare, In the past I ran to a lot of fly by night companies and to no success in generating any rental income. After doing further research and a close friend of mine conducting business with this organization and having success am going to and have decided to work with her and the company. I look forward to working with Laura and Executive housing strategies to finally making some income with my timeshare.

I received a cold-call from Michael S[redacted] from EHS. A quick spill about how "legitimate" their business really is, and transferred to Paula B[redacted] where I was informed about the one time payment for a lifetime of their services. I was skeptical and my gut said no, but after some discussion and reviewing I signed a contract with EHS on the 15th of September 2015. After signing and paying $998.00 I have not heard from EHS. I was told by both Michael S[redacted] and Paula B[redacted] that I will be receiving a phone call in 14-21 days informing me of my client ID number and status of my account. It has been 27 days. I have called both of their cell phone numbers and left voicemails last week, I have called both of their office phone lines and left voicemails last week, I have called the EHS main line and left a "to whom it may concern" voicemail last week, and I sent an email to [redacted] requesting that someone with authority contact me back via email, phone, or LEAVE A VOICEMAIL. I don't consider a shadow call and quick hang up after 2 rings with no voicemail to be a legitimate effort to contact me! Any respectable business should be able to keep in contact with their customers and return calls and emails promptly.

I was called twice within 15 mins of each other. The man was trying to pressure me into signing a contract with Executive Housing Strategies and claimed that the company was Revdex.com accredited. On the first call I said I would have to discuss with my husband if we wanted to rent out our timeshare. That wasn't good enough answer for "Joshua" so he called me back within the 15 minutes of the first call. They claim the can get $1400- $2400 if we will give them 4,000 of our points. I got on the website and the fees are outrageous (almost $3,000) with no guarantee that the company can or will rent out your time share. Do not get involved with this company [redacted] ext[redacted] is "Joshua"

So happy I saw the previous complaint in time. Almost fell for this scam and got out just in time. Once I read the contract and saw that there is no guarantee on renting your timeshare or even the price they would pay I did not sign my contract. they do say they are a member of the Revdex.com which is a lie, they are a member of the Online Business Bureau which I have never heard of. They were very persistent and wanted to rush the deal as fast as possible which was my first red flag. Not sure what would have happened if I did go through and sign the contract but hope I can be done with this.

Executive Housing Strategies did rent some of our points. The lady that contacted us was very helpful in walking me thru the process of booking the rental. We received a check from the family that was renting our points.

I paid for this company to rent my place (I WISH it had been $1000 like the previous customer reported - mine was $1500) and I have not received any correspondence or other contact until a card I received the mail 2 weeks ago allowing me to spend more money with them. They enthusiastically said my property would be highly rentable but I have received NO word from them in 4 months now. Every time I call them I am instructed to leave a phone number for them to return my call but they never do. DO NOT be caught in this scam.

My experience with EHS has always been very positive, even pleasant. The staff is eager to help, and they are prompt to respond to questions, complaints, and/or client preferences. I feel as though I get personal attention whenever I have any dealings with them.
