Review: On 12/19/15, at a local gun show, I purchased 1,000 rounds of .223 ammo and I have not received it. I called on 1/18/16 and spoke with [redacted]. He looked up the order and called me back and said it should be shipped soon. I've called their answering machine twice since and most recently just received 'on-hold' music with no one answering and no machine. They are non-responsive. I've left my phone number and advised a couple weeks ago that I would be filing a complaint. No reply received. :-(Desired Settlement: Either deliver the product as agreed, or refund the $315.00 plus tax.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I have received my order and consider this resolved. Probably will never do business with them again.

"The ammo is first class and the customer service is outstanding. Lucas is always spot on with emails and ready to answer questions. Highly recommend "EXPANSION INDUSTRIES"."

Review: My husband and I purchased 500 of the .45 cal ammo from Expansion Industries when they were a vendor at the C&E gun show in April '16 at the [redacted]. We were advised it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery. We have never received the product! I have attempted 4 phone calls to the business and my call was directed to the owners cell phone voice mail and no calls were ever returned to me! I have contacted C&E directly and have been working with a representative there and she too states they have not returned her calls either. We are a one income family and trusted this company! We spent close to $200 that day and I just want a refund on my husbands card now! I don't feel comfortable about receiving the product any longer as I don't feel it would be a quality product due to my suspicion that this company has maybe gone bankrupt. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!Desired Settlement: I would like to hear back from C&E that my husband [redacted] card has been credited for the amount of purchase.

I submitted an order for 1,000 rounds of 40 cal, reman. It took a couple weeks which made me happy. Expansion industries provided a high quality product just as they advertise and I will be ordering again soon

Good ammo

I stumbled on to Expansion Industries while at the Dulles Expo Gun Show. They had an impressive booth that was well staffed and incredibly busy. The sales staff was very informative, engaging and very friendly about explaining their products. They were very upfront that it would take a few weeks following the show because of the surge in orders. I got a call a week out from the delivery and it arrived just as promised and exactly the caliber and grain I had ordered. I've made my way through a hundred rounds of it, and I have not had any issues!! Don't listen to the negative reviews. These guys are awesome and provide awesome service and a great product for an affordable price!

Review: I ordered 500 rounds of 5.56 x 45 and 500 rounds of 7.62 x 39 ammunition from Expansion Industries at a gun show on 2 Jan 2016. I received the 5.56 x 45 ammunition about 4 weeks later but never received the 7.62 x 39 ammunition. after a few unanswered emails and phone calls to the company, I returned to the gun show the next time it came around and found the owner at the Expansion Industries tent. He game me 50 rounds of 45 caliber handgun ammunition and explained that there were issues with the ammunition I ordered, but to call him later the next week to get a status. I called him multiple times, sent multiple emails and called the company main line multiple times and have yet to speak to anyone or even get a call or email back.Desired Settlement: At this point I would simply be satisfied with my money back for the part of the order that I have not received.

Ran across these guys at a gun show. They seamed friendly and I wanted to support a Virginia company purchased ammo from them with a 3-4 week shipping promise it's been 7 1/2 weeks and still no ammo only excuses and rudeness on the phone.

Review: Ordered product at the [redacted] Gun Show on April 23, 2016. To date, shipment has not been received. Have tried to contact the company via phone over 75 times, main company phone number rolls to voice mail. On one occasion, representative answered, stated he was outside and couldn't check my order, but would check when he could and call me back. No one ever called. I have also submitted order status request through their website, no one ever responds. My order is shown on their website as unfulfilled, not shipped.Desired Settlement: Request product be delivered and some goodwill gesture (discount on future order, additional free rounds, something) for such poor service....3 MONTH DELAY IN SHIPMENT, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Review: I have placed 2 orders for ammunition. First order was 6 months ago, Second order was 4 months ago. When I have been able to get ahold of someone from Expansion Industries, I just get the run around "we are waiting on supplies for this round", next call it is some other excuse. Now, I cannot get anyone to respond to emails and their office phone is never answered.Desired Settlement: To receive what was ordered, promised, and already paid for.

Review: I placed an order with Expansion Industries on March 6, 2016. The Home Page of their website states, "IN STOCK, CHARGED, SHIPPED Orders are shipped in the order they are received. Most process times are same day but during the busy season it can take a few extra days to Hit the fed ex system. We have 2 daily pickups with fed ex and delivery times are usually 2-3 days max." When I placed my order, the product also stated that it was in stock, and Expansion deducted the money from my account within two days. I called Expansion Industries March 11th and March 14th because when I checked their website, there was no order information available. I received no response. I also emailed them March 14th. When I finally received a response from the owner (Lucas), he asked "did you see the processing times when you purchased?" No where does it say that the processing time is nearly two months. On March 23rd, Lucas advised me that they had bullets, but they were just waiting for a product that should be coming in within the week, to fulfill my order. The week passed and I still had not received a Tracking Number. On April 6th, I asked to please refund my money, if my order was not going to be shipped by April 8th. Lucas emailed me on April 11th stating that they were now waiting for bullets and they should have them next week. I immediately asked for a refund. His response, was that he would throw in a free tee shirt and some coupons. Again, I asked him to refund my money.

This company used false advertisement saying that the product I ordered was in stock and now they are using stall tactics. Expansion has failed to produce my order, and I would like a full refund IMMEDIATELY.Desired Settlement: At this point, I do not want the ammo that I ordered from Expansion Industries. I would like a FULL REFUND immediately.

Response:

Me and [redacted] have spoken a few times via email. I apologized to him for the delay and explained the issue at hand. We were waiting on a shipment from [redacted] to come in to fulfill his 380 order. Processing times and fulfillment times are posted directly on our website and on our terms and conditions page that all customers must sign before purchasing with us. I explained to [redacted] that we got a small shipment of his particular bullets in that would hold us over until our larger shipment and asked if he wanted me to ship out his product. He explained he would rather have his money back so I processed the refund. Out of my hands as I dont know how long it will take for his money to return to his account but this has already been resolved.

Regards,

I have had no problems with this company. They were upfront with me in letting me know approximately how long it would take to get the ammo I had ordered. That was fine by me. I did not mind waiting, it was worth the wait and the price was right. Love, love, LOVE your ammo! Will definitely be ordering more. I have been recommending this company to friends and family and will continue to do so. I am extremely pleased with their products.

We bought 1000 rds of bulk 9mm from EI at a recent gun show. This is a fairly young company that is growing extremely fast. Our order took a little longer than initially expected, but once their national sales director personally explained everything to us, we understood and received our order shortly after. The product has been flawless and great for range use. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for reasonably priced bulk ammo.

Great products at a even greater price!! I would definitely recommend them to a friend and will do business with Expansion Industries again!

Review: We purchased some Ammo from Expansion Ind. at Gun show on April 23, 2016. They were out and told us they would ship it to us in about 3 weeks. I have called and emailed and texted on Facebook. They say they respond but don’t. We’ve been promised extra ammo for our wait. They have taken mu money from my Debit card and as of July 28th 2016 no Ammo and cannot get a response from them. I have dates from emails and phone calls that go unanswered. At this point with no response I need your help.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $110.57 ASAP

The 500 rounds of 9mm ammo was back ordered when I purchased it.Even so it was delivered within a couple of days of the estimated delivery date. I am very satisfied with Expansion and will be ordering from them again.

Review: Placed an order prior to Jan. 12th on website and was charged on my credit card. I called to verify order and was told there was an issue. The order was reprocessed on Jan 12th. in there system.

On Feb 5th I spoke with Head Manager and we came to a agreement that because of the length of time waiting for product to ship that he would cancel and refund me per my request. I was told he could pretend the order shipped and just not refund me but that he was going to put it through to the credit card company.

It is now one day before March and I haven't received my refund.

Just want was told to me to be followed through with. I just want my refund.Desired Settlement: Full Refund ASAP

I still have not received a refund and my credit card company shows no attempt to do so. It's been 4 months and I need my $206.46 back now. I don't know how a company can take your money, not send anything, agree to a refund and just never give your money back. I want my money! Please!!!

Regards,

Review: I was charged on my credit card for ammunition back in November with a promise date of delivery for before Christmas. Christmas came and went with no product being delivered. I have called numerous times and they tell me the same thing it will go out next week and NOTHING. I have asked 3 times to get a reimbursed for my money and still NOTHING. They have since sent our three separate shipments but they still owe me product worth $400.00. I DO NOT WANT THAT PRODUCT AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for $400.00 which they have had for over 3 months now.

Review: Not only has it been 2 months since I made my order (in which case they discalimed there would be a slight delay in shipping because of the holidays, being christmas eve when I placed my order) I have tried to contact them many many tiomes to get the order cancelled or find a time when shipping will actually happen to no ansewer other than I have to wait. 2 months for an item that showed in stock is unacceptable by any business in my opinion! I need my money refunded as soon as possible so I can order from a different company, this one is VERY disorganized and forces you to use an email serice for complaints and it takes them weeks to respon, if at all.Desired Settlement: refund of my funds as it appears they take orders and debit your account immediatly but have no intentions of sending your product

Business

Response:

Package was sent to customer we explained the delay in components from our supplier in [redacted]. I emailed a few times with the customer trying to give him accurate times for his shipment to come in. Tracking is attached

[redacted]Says it was already delivered so the complaint can be disregarded because we gave him his product. I apologize for the delay multiple times. We never charge peoples orders and not deliver product. We have been in business now since 2013 and there is not one customer that ordered from us that did not get their product. Thanks

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

Extremely poor customer service. I received my ammo in the mail 4 weeks after placing the order. Longer than any other company that I have ever ordered from. I called the company numerous times and was told their typical turnaround time is three weeks (21 days) though they charge your credit card the day you place the order. Definitely not a company I would ever recommend.
