I did not receive a receipt from them because I paid the company through their paypal accountI'm not even sure how to obtain my records from the companyI have attached the document they gave me the day after the I purchased their service and I also attached a picture of their address from their websiteWhen I speak to them on the phone they people sound like they are from another country not actually based in New York like their address says

I just did that this morning, a person named *** answered, I informed him I was filing a complaint and had received this message to call. He told me it was an automated computer response. I then asked him if we were going to resolve this issue or should I continue with the complaint thru the Revdex.com. He informed me to continue with the complaint and that was the end of our conversation. Again, completely unprofessional

Review: I went to get on my laptop computer on 7/**/14, and a message was on the screen stating [redacted] Windows had found errors on my computer and there was a 1-800 number to call, which I did. I was informed [redacted], that he could not help me but could transfer me to someone who could. He transferred me to another [redacted] who told me that there was probably a virus on my computer which needed to be removed. He asked if he could intercept my computer remotely. I told him I didn't feel comfortable with this, and he said "Ma'am, do you think [redacted] would do something illegal to your computer? falsely presenting himself as a representative of [redacted]. He then accessed my computer remotely and presented a wealth of numbers on the screen and said these were hundreds of "hackers" who had access to my personal information and that he could fix it for $199 w/computer tech support for a year and $80 for the second year. After seeing all the "hackers," which scared me to death, I told him to go ahead and fix it. He manipulated some numbers for a few minutes and said he had resolved the problem. He presented a Docusign document which showed my name in cursive writing as a signature (that signature is not mine) indicating that the work was performed satisfactorily. I contacted my nephew who works on computers for a living and he said that this is a common phishing scam, to report them to my CC company & get a new card (which I did), & to change my passwords. He stated that they could have imbedded the so-called "hackers" into my computer or use any source of numbers as a scare tactic for me to let them get access to my computer remotely. They have an F rating on the Revdex.com website, and I read stories of the same nature as mine in the comments section of the Revdex.com report, that they don't return calls, charge money for work they did not do, and present themselves as working for [redacted]. During the phone call I told him I didn't want the 2nd yr of tech support & he said he would refund $80, which he did, but charged me the $199. I called them the next day (7/**/14) and told them that I did not want their service and wanted my money refunded to my CC, and also made the calls mentioned above regarding new CC, etc. They sent me an e-mail stating I was satisfied w/their service and my account was closed (which made the original agreement invalid because they removed the one yr of tech support they had offered). I want it to go on record that this company is a phishing scam so that others will be aware and not fall for the [redacted] 1-800 ruse.Desired Settlement: I would like for this information to go on the Revdex.com website and to inform others not to fall for the "[redacted]" scam. I would like to be refunded the $199 they charged me for "work performed," especially since they did not provide the year of tech support they promised. I do not believe there were viruses on my computer to begin with and am worried that they could have imbedded information on my computer which may cause problems in the future, which upon investigation, is something they also do. They high-pressured me by representing themselves as [redacted], a reputable company, and using scare tactics of hacking to get me to let them into my computer remotely. It has been reported that this company is located in India, not New York.

Review: I purchased their service in November of 2013 and have received nothing but problems and trouble from their company. I have several documents containing information saying they would be able to provide telephone assistance anytime between 8am-5pm(PST). In addition your website says 9:30am- 6:30pm (PST). Today I have called for assistance at 3:10pm to receive help. I was told first by [redacted] that they would not be able to assist me because they are closing in one hour, but from the several sources I received the times of operation this is not correct. Then she told me that their company had changed to central standard time before the time I have signed up for this service but then contradicted herself by saying she did not know the exact date and that I should have received an email. I then spoke to [redacted] and he neither could answer my question about why they could not help me beside they changed the time.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund of the $200 I paid since I did not receive any help from them.
