Took my vehicle in for oil change and they proceeded to tell me that my oil pan gasket was leaking and that the timing cover gasket needed replaced and the rear main seal needed replaced at a sum of $1943.00. I went for second opinion and it is the oil pan gasket only $324.00 to have repaired. These guys were trying to take advantage of me because I am a female I am sure and they did not think that I would know about vehicles. They took forever on my oil change and charged me $152.00 and did not even change my oil. took for 2nd opinion 3 days later and all needed was the oil pan gasket. This place should be investigated to the fullest as to what they tell ppl thay may need. In order to know the timing gasket is leaking yo have to get inside the motor and for the hour they had my vehicle they did not have time to pull and see that this needed replaced. The entire place is a rip off and I would like to have my money back in full. But, know that is not going to happen. The emplyee and the supervisor should be fired. They are ripping off ppl. I am very disapointed.

Refund I would like a full refund. But, like they are going to do that. I do not think so. However, I will never go there again. I am a single mom and 152.00 is alot of money to me. Food on my kids plate. this company flat out lied to me and there is no resolution for that.

I will address this customers complaints one at a time.
1.The oil change was indeed completed using Valvoline synthetic blend oil & filter at a cost of $68.99 before tax
2. The engine air filter was replaced at a cost of $22.99 before tax
3. The engine oil leaks were diagnosed at a cost of $55.00 (no tax on diagnostics)
During the diagnosis oil was observed inside the transmission bell housing, accessed by removing the torque converter cover plate, leading to a diagnosis that the rear main seal was leaking. Timing cover gasket and front seal can indeed be observed to be leaking, contrary to the customer's assertion, without removing any engine components. The customer was informed the major oil leak was from the oil pan, however there were less significant oil leaks from the rear main seal and timing covers. The customer was given the option of repairing these items one at a time or all together, and given separate estimates for each item. Our estimate of $423.88 for the oil
pan gasket was based on industry standard labor rates and times, and the use of an O.E.
quality part, as is our policy. We maintain that our pricing is fair and accurate based on the fact the repair is being performed by an ASE master technician using O.E. quality parts.Thank you for your time and considereration in this matter.
