Extremely satisfied with Illinois Art Glass, in particular the owner Karen [redacted] She handled our window order expertly from beginning to end Our installer commented of the quality of the product and is maintaining her contact information for his future stained glass window needs I will return to Karen for any future needs and recommend Illinois Art Glass to others

I purchased a custom stained glass window from Karen in Jan The window had a lead time of approx weeksAt about weeks post order, I requested an update on shipping schedule and was told one more week and it would be shipped ( [redacted] Communication was very poor and five weeks later I was still being told that the hold up was on the [redacted] side of the equation though no tracking info was ever provided and there were numerous conflicting explanations as to where my glass was and why it had not arrived At approximately weeks after the original request for shipment information my glass arrived, damaged, and had to be returned for repair (which required additional packaging protection and recrating by myself) I was told that the glass would ship both ways, 2day service and could be repaired in one day, hence I would have the piece back in a week) It took weeks and numerous requests for undates (and sadly threats to pursue a refund) to receive my piece of glassOnce again, the only communication received came when I insistedI finally have the piece that I ordered but my experience with Karen was cumbersome and unpleasant I suspect she does nice work but unfortunately her business management is poor and resulted in an overall unsatisfactory experience Based on this I cannot endorse her business

Exactly what I wanted, on time, and on Budget! Great artist!!!

My stained glass windows from Karen are beautiful! I enjoy them every day They are well-made, and I was amazed with how much effort she took to build a box for the fragile shipping I am pleased with the cost and how much work it must have been I would highly recommend her Thank you

6/14/17: I asked if the window had been sent yet6/17/17: Marie said "Yes, it was taken to ***." She also said she would get the delivery information to me and that [again] I should expect it next week6/22/17: Still no tracking # and no window, I sent another email threatening to contact *** (see RED FLAG #1)Marie said she would contact ***, in the morning and get an update6/23/17: I asked for an update and the tracking #6/24/17: Marie said the info was given to her account rep and they were "locating the crate."
6/25/17: Again, Marie claims problems with *** email service and switched to a gmail addressStill waiting to hear from her account rep7/3/17: Since no response or update was given, I requested our money be refunded ($225), if the window wasn't going to be delivered7/4/17: Marie said "It will be delivered this week." She said "upgraded the shipping from ground to express." And would get the tracking info to me as soon as she received it7/11/17: Still nothing from Marie, I asked how she could upgrade the shipping if it was already supposed to be at *** and enroute7/12/17: Marie responded that "they can upgrade thingsI have done it before."
7/12/17: That was the final strawI had already contacted *** and they are monitoring the situationI told Marie what I found on Revdex.com and that I would file my complaint, if no window or $refund by 7/21/7/13/17: Marie's last response, to-date, was that "I will get this delivered asapI am taking care of itI apologize for the delays."
That is where it stands, todayMarie *** and/or her account rep, who is possibly MsKaren *** have stolen $from meI will work with whomever and whatever organizations possible so this doesn't happen to othersIf you'll notice, there are many negative reviews, with several recent positive reviewsI assume this is their attempt to bump up their "F" rating, using bogus glowing reviewsThe negative reviews are very detailed and the positive ones are briefThis company or person(s) work under the guise of Illinois Art Glass, *** *** ***, *** *** *** Marie *** *** *** ***, is the person I contacted through ***The address I was told to mail a check to is not Marie *** address, although that is where she said to send the moneyMarie *** *** *** *** *** IL

I have ordered a couple of windows and both are beautiful! They arrived on time, with no problems or issuesThey are wonderful people to work with, they respond quickly and I will definitely be ordering from them againI highly recommend Expressions By Karen

I paid to have two custom glass pieces made by Illinois Glass Art for $She was given 50% in October of to start the project and given the remaining balance, including the shipping fee, after she said the windows were completed in December As of 3/16/2017, the glass pieces have yet to be deliveredI have contacted her repeatedly via e-mail inquiring about the delivery and received excuse after excuse as to why they had not shippedShe even went so far as to create bogus shipping labels so she could provide me with a tracking number for the productAfter two tracking numbers were issued, the glass pieces are still apparently sitting at ***I have requested a refund and have not heard from her since

me a response to what they would say to a seller if a seller called and asked what was their responsibility was after a case was found in the buyers favor. Dear [redacted],
As per our conversation, once a [redacted] claim is closed, [redacted] is unable to enforce a resolve of either refunding or sending the item/service.  If a seller were to contact [redacted] asking if the item/service would still need to be provided, [redacted]'s response would be to advise the seller to either refund the money or send the item/service that was paid for.

I informed her immediately that I still wanted the original order. SHE proposed to make windows for my house instead, I did not suggest that.. If she felt she did not owe me anything from the beginning why would she send me a tracking label one July 26th? Why go through months of offering, then agreeing, and sending samples  to create windows for my home? 
This is once again an attempt to not be responsible for something SHE AGREED TO AND IS OBLIGATED TO DO. You either provide the service/the product or refund. That's how businesses work. Everyday.
Please let me know if you need screen shots of all of the emails, phone records, etc. as I'm not sure what you need from your end.

[redacted]'s last two windows have been delivered. 2 of the windows that [redacted] purchased had been damaged by fedex and I had to find replacement glass. The outer border glass that she chose had been discontinued by the company. I did find matching glass, remade the windows and the windows have been delivered.
I ship 2-3 windows every week, occasionally there are going to be damages every now an then. This was just compounded by the fact that the glass had been discontinued. I will also be refunding [redacted] the shipping that she paid as soon as fedex refunds my account. I have apologized to her for the delay. I hope the refund makes up for some of the frustration.
