Review: I ordered a pair of glasses through this company's website on April [redacted]. This was the order confirmation I received via email:

"Hello, your payment has been received.

We will ship the item within 72 hours with the service that you selected...

Once item is shipped a tracking number will be sent to you….

On April [redacted], I received the following email:

"Dear ….

I am very very sorry for the delay in your order. Let me explain what happened.

The item was in stock with a Store Quantity of 1. Prior to each shipment my team

checks each and every frame to make sure they 100% perfect with no issues or problems.

The item you purchased had contained a small crack on the frame and I was not comfortable in sending you this item as it was.

What I did was send the item back to the Company for a replacement and to order a new one.

We only sell 100% brand new authentic designer items that are pretty pricey and we must adhere

to a high level of perfection.

I got a phone call later in the day to inform us that this item is DISCONTINUED.

I did also send out NETWORK ALERT message to 35 optical stores in my network to see if anyone has this item.

Please be patient and I will get back to you within 48 hours to inform you if anyone has this item.

What response and let us know what you want to do about this situation?

Maybe you want to select an entirely different frame??

I have noted your account and have issued you a 15% OFF your next order for this problem.

The 15% is fully transferable to any of your family friends, coworkers or anyone you know.

You may use this discount on our website.

Your discount code is : ...

Once again I am very sorry for this dissapointment

I know what it feels like to wait for something you really want.

Call us if you have any Questions

HOWEVER, although I answered the email and stated that I was only interested in these frames, I never heard back from the company. In the letter [redacted] states that he will get back to me within 48 hours. It is April **, 2014, and I still have not heard from this company despite various outreach attempts. Their telephone number also appears to not be working. I paid $248.49 for the pair of glasses AND I still have not received them or been notified about the results of the Network Alert as promised or have gotten a refund.Desired Settlement: Either the frames I ordered, or a full refund.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Eyewearorders.com regarding complaint ID [redacted].

I would like to add a minor edit to my complaint in the event that it gets posted. On the last sentence: "I paid $248.49 for the pair of glasses AND I still have not received them or been notified about the results of the Network Alert as promised or have gotten a refund." I would prefer for it to read: "I paid $248.49 for the pair of glasses AND I still have not received them or been notified about the results of the Network Alert as promised nor have I received notification of a refund." I have various credit cards and I am not sure which one I used, but despite that I just want it to read that I have not received notification of a refund. Thank you for your assistance. If there are any questions, please contact me.

Sincerely,

Review: Ordered a specific pair of sunglasses. Company emailed me saying they were discontinued and no longer available. I requested a refund. Company processed payment and shipped glasses I did not authorize to do.Desired Settlement: Full refund

Review: I ordered a frame for my husband online with this company. His current frame broke but the lenses are new, so we wanted to replace the frame.

The size of the frames I ordered online were a match to his frames. I received a friendly email from [redacted] the next day saying the frames I

ordered had a flaw and would I take a different color. I said yes, and they were sent to us. The frames we received are a different size so the lenses

we have do not fit. I called to ask but the woman ([redacted]) first hung up on me and then when I tried to explain she yelled over me and said she was

going to sue me and I'd get a letter. I paid for the frames via credit card (210.00) and there was no claim of no return or final sale policy. The website

says it strives for customer satisfaction. I am now concerned about fraud.Desired Settlement: I would like to send the frames back and get my money back.

Review: I ordered a glasses frame by the price of 78.44$ in Feb.7 from the website. It was not in the stock, so I paid 25$ first by a layaway. And after three weeks, the customer service told me they made a mistake, their website showed the wrong price. So I decided to cancel the order, but the customer service replied they will not return my 25$. I can understand the cancelation is totally the website's fault.Desired Settlement: The website refunds my money 25$!

Review: This is a scam website and need to get off the internet.

My card was charged without oder fulfillment and upon calling them I was hung up onDesired Settlement: investigate the integrity of this online retailer for their false advertising and possibly selling bootlegged optical products.

Review: I sent my sunglasses for repair to Eyewearorders.com in Brooklyn . They sell sunglasses, as well as perform repairs. I paid $99.00 in advance for the repair (12/*/14). After a lot of chasing, I got the glasses back about 2 months later, and unfortunately, the lenses didn't fit the frame. There is a gap on each side, making them un-wearable. When I asked for a refund, they refused and tried to convince me that the repair wasn't really that bad. (It would be like getting your car wind shield replaced, with gaps on each side, so that the sun, wind and rain get inside). On top of that, they were rude, to the point of abrasive, and incredibly unhelpful. When I copied and pasted their own website copy about "Service with a Smile", "Quality is their #1 concern", they never even acknowledged it. I further asked that they back up their claims, but no response. After about 20 back and forth emails, I finally asked if they would provide the full refund. They offered me a discount of $25.00. I have no trust in this company, not to mention, I don't want new glasses. The whole point was to get the glasses that I own repaired so I don't have to buy new ones. Too bad I didn't see the online consumer complaints about this company before I sent my glasses there. I never would have attempted to do business with this thoroughly unreliable and unprofessional company. I just want my money back for a service that was not provided.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: A full refund of $99.00 for services not rendered.

Review: I purchased a pair of sunglasses from Eyewearorders.com on January [redacted], for AED 796.36 (which is approximately US$ 210)--I cannot verify exactly the dollar amount because they never sent me a receipt, I could only check my bank statement which is in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirhams).

I was informed that the order had shipped on January [redacted] by [redacted] international. The shipment was supposed to be sent using a courier, and was expected to be delivered within a few days. I regularly order things from the USA, and they are always delivered within a reasonable amount of time when using an appropriate courier service. I was provided a tracking number with which I was able to check the shipment status. On January [redacted], the shipment had reached a shipping facility in Jamaica, NY, and that is where it is today.

On February [redacted], I sent Eyewearorders.com customer service an email requesting some support in getting the shipment delivered. I was provided with a series of excuses and shirking of responsibility--ranging from "We cant control customs in your country" to "It is enroute, you must be patient on account of the weather". I had to repeatedly email them and pointed out that the tracking information shows that the shipment is stuck in New York. Eventually, they claimed that they checked the tracking information, and agreed to check with [redacted] on February [redacted].

I did not hear back from them until February [redacted], and only after repeated emails from me. They only replied when I informed them that I intended to file a complaint with the Revdex.com (which is very telling in its own right). They refused to provide me with any correspondence to prove that they have liaised with [redacted] (they claimed that they speak verbally with [redacted] regarding all shipments, and as the receiver it is none of my business), and claimed that the alleged "investigation" yielded the result that the package had reached the UAE and that it is likely just sitting in the post office waiting for me to pick up--that the UAE post office had forgotten to scan the package. This statement is blatantly incorrect, as when it leaves the USA it is also scanned, and the tracker does not report as such.

In any case, on March [redacted], I went to the post office to verify everything, and waited 3 hours only to be told that they have no such shipment there. I informed Eyewearorders.com of this and their reply was "we are investigating". At this point I decided that I had waited sufficiently long, and informed them that I would be lodging a complaint with the Revdex.com--their reply was a threat of legal action for slander.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund. If I resided in the USA I would certainly take legal action against them, but seeing as how I am on the other end of the planet, I will settle for a refund.

Sincerely,

This business is totally operating fraudulently even though they are an actual business. I ordered a pair of sunglasses with my credit card, the order was processed, then I received an email from them telling me the lenses were cracked and there are no more of these specific glasses available.

I asked them to refund my money or credit back my account since they do not have the merchandise I had ordered. I then received an email from a "Bill" that said at a discount you can pick out another pair of glasses. I replied I did not want another pair of glasses I wanted the ones I originally ordered, and since they do not have the merchandise to please credit my account back. I never heard from them after that, so I started to get nervous. I decided to look the company up on the Revdex.com and they have several complaints against them as well as other very negative customer complaints on other websites.

I then contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge since the company could not get me the merchandise. I also decided to look up the company's number and found them in Bronx NY. I called the number several times at different points in the day. I was put on hold for 5 minutes each call and no one came to the phone. I used a different phone and finally an irate woman picked up and before I had the chance to introduce myself or say hello, she screamed at me and said "I see you calling here on different lines, we will get to you when we get to you, stop calling here!!!!" Then she hung up on me. I could not get the chance to speak or get a live person to talk to on the phone. I then realized that something was wrong with the way they are operating business.

I called my credit card company back and told them about what happened to me. I then emailed this "Bill" guy back from the company and said that I have contacted the fraud department at my credit card company and that I want the charges off of my card. Not long after I sent the email to him, I checked the activity on my credit card and saw almost 1000.00 worth of charges to all different hotels, and purchases in the United Kingdom. I was sick to my stomach, I then called my credit card company again and had to claim this all as fraud. This eyewareorders.com either sold my credit card information or used it themselves. They need to be shut down. I know it was them because I have not used my card for anything else. I was on the phone with my credit card company for hours at end for at least 7 days straight since this happened to me. This place is no good and needs to be looked at. It makes me sick that people could do something like this and get away with it. All you need to do is look at the other similar customer experiences there are out there.

I originally had filed a complaint by utilizing the fraud option, however I was told by the Revdex.com that it needs to be filed as a complaint abut a business since they are an actual business.

FYI I have the emails as well as all of the phone calls with my credit card company.
