EZ Medical Transportation

My son uses a wheelchair. His medical insurance provider has a contract with EZ Medical Transportation that he calls to get to and from medical appointments. Today he called before 4 pm to request a return trip. During a call after 4, he was told the driver was delayed by traffic. At 5 pm, the medical facility he was visiting closed. He made his way out to the street. At 5:30, he was assured a wheelchair cab had been dispatched. He sat outside in 95+-degree temperatures without water waiting. He finally was picked up after 7:30 pm! This is unconscionably abusive! In the past, he's missed appointments because the pick-up was very late. If possible, avoid this company.

They pick you up late making you late of your appointments. Some trips they are so late you have to cancel your appointment all together. Some drivers lie and say they come to your door to let you know they are there. My dogs bark when some one knocks on my door. I would have known if they did. The driver this time expected me to wait out side in triple digit heat, even though he gave me no difinative time when he was going to be at my home. Calls from the driver does not put him at my home when he said he was. The manager and supervisor do nothing to fix the situation except send another van that would have made me late by almost an hour. The drivers are over booked and the dispatching of the calls need a vast improvement. The management needs to realize that they have a huge problem.
Sadly every trip I have had with them they are never on time for the pick up, and make you wait two or three hours just for your ride home. I often have to call my doctors office to tell them I will be late due to transportation.
