I first wanted to apologize again for our service department
not completing all of the services on your vehicle at the prescribed intervals

I have carefully reviewed both the factory recommendations
for maintenance and the provisions of your maintenance contract and compared
that to the services that we have performed. After going over your
complete service history I have found, as previously discussed, we did not
rotate the tires at the proper intervals In regards to any other missed
services, the only additional service that we missed is the replacement of the
cabin air filter at 20,miles.
Fair Oaks will reimburse you a total of $which
is $268.16, the total cost of your replacement tires, plus $57.81, the retail
price to replace the cabin air filter
I understand your frustration with our service
department. I have reviewed this issue with our service lane staff and moving
forward we will be making sure that items like these are not overlooked.
The only thing that I can add is that the two service consultants that you
dealt with on most of your service visits are no longer with our company and I
believe that you will find our new consultants don’t let things like this get
overlooked. You can also deal with me directly if you would like for
anything that you need in the future

*** *** My name is Jim D***. I am the General Manager at FairOaks *** *** ***. Regarding ** ***, I spoke with his son when he stopped by and I waived the check out time the son agreed. Being he was young and didn't know protocol that there is a check out time to
look at a Used car that doesn't have an extended warranty. Maybe some confusion was that the buyer wasn't here. The son brought the car into service not knowing he should of come to the Sales Dept. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. to follow up. There is not any money due from the customer. Thank You Jim D***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this business continues to fabricate its responses to what they believe The steering wheel was put back on sideways and his year old technician with "years experience" even laughed about it Typical for this business I have taken the vehicle to a reputable mechanic and they verified the mismanagement of the recall work but corrected the issue for them out of true professionalism I will accept Fair Oaks' response because I choose not to deal with their incompetency any longer

Fair Oaks *** *** *** feels that we have done everything
in our power to try to satisfy *** *** and we have not caused any damage
to his vehicle

to the service department after owning it for months because the tailgate
would not close. We were able to get the
repair of the tailgate covered under the warrantyThe tailgate was severely
out of alignment and the hinges had to be replacedWe do not have a body shop
so all body repairs are done by an outside companyUpon pickup *** ***
was not satisfied with the vehicleAt this time he did not pick up the vehicle
because of several issues he pointed outSome related to the repairs that were
completed others completely unrelatedWe agreed to fix everything regardless
of feeling the damage did not occur while under our possession
On September 16th *** *** wrote a letter to
*** and Fair Oaks Motors requesting a buy back of his vehicle due to lemon
law
On September 18th he came to pick up the vehicle
again, was not satisfied with the repairsAt this time he met with Tom A***
to go over all of his concerns. Mr
Hernandez requested that Fair Oaks get him a different vehicle because of his
problemsMrA*** let him know that we can trade him out of the vehicle but,
a buy back is decided on only by the manufacturer*** *** took all of
his personal items out of the vehicle at this timeTom took the vehicle again
to the body shop and had the issues resolved and the vehicle ready by 5:that
same dayWe received his certified letter, also mailed to *** requesting
a buy back, in the mail on September 18thTo date *** has not
contacted us regarding a buy back of *** ***’s vehicle
MrA*** let *** *** know the vehicle was ready for
pick up at 5:on September 18thOn September 19th the
Service Manager James P*** also let him know the vehicle was ready and let
him know he had to return the rental car by the following day*** ***
returned the rental car on September 20th but, did not to pick
up the vehicle
On October 9th, three weeks after the vehicle was
completed, *** *** picked up his vehicleIt was parked in the service
lane for his pick up and under the artificial bright lights of the service lane
he then checked over the vehicle and found numerous issues with the vehicle
MrP*** and MrA*** did not feel any of these issues had been caused by
the dealership and they were not the dealership’s responsibility to fix them
We have done all that we can to try to satisfy *** ***Fair Oaks Chrysler
*** *** and its partners have not caused any damage to his vehicle
and we are not responsible for any diminished value as determined by *** ***
