Faith Relocation Specialists Reviews (%countItem)

Charged double the quoted price. Missing item at drop off.
I put my contact information into Billy.com to find a mover. Faith Relocation Specialists contacted me via text with a quote of $200 for 3 hours and $85 for each additional hour. The next day I shopped around and the quote from others was around $400. So I chose this company. They arrived on time, did not pack up my items to prevent damage as advertised, and placed everything on the truck without me because unfortunately I had to pick up my keys at the same time. My stepfather was there to supervise. At drop off, I was told the price was going to be double what I was originally quoted. The guy said he would try to talk to the boss, but that is what it was going to be, cash only. I only had $300 on me to account for the original $200 quoted plus $85 if need be. I had to go to the bank to get the remainder before they would unload the truck. Upon return I noticed they were lining my stuff up in the hallways, they allowed the elevator doors to close with my possessions inside. When it appeared everything had been unloaded, I paid the balance, and counted the boxes to make sure they were all there. Unfortunately, I didn't count the bags. About an hour later I noticed a bag was missing, and I tried to contact the driver, no answer. I texted the owner, and he said they were on another job and he would contact them when they got back. I told him that was not acceptable, because they may leave my bag with the other job. I also informed him I had been overcharged. He proceeded to yell at me via text. I told him he was being unprofessional and all I wanted was my bag, and he needed to rectify the situation or I would report him. He continued to be unprofessional. 7 hours later he texted that there was nothing on the truck.

Desired Outcome

I would like to see that a complaint be placed on their record as to allow future customers to make a more informed decision.

This business stole my furniture and has been in contact with us trying to extort me for more money than the agreed upon price. DO NOT HIRE THEM!
On May 10th, 2019. This business picked up my dining room set at a location then came to my home, with only two people to unload the table. I has disclosed to the company how heavy it was and was weary on whether or not two men was enough to carry it. He sent his wife with another mover, that's it. They then proceeded to refuse to unload, and drove away with my furniture and refuses to give it back. The original agreement was to pay a total of $250 then he raised the price the next day to $350 and we agreed to pay the gas surcharge, when they did not show up the following day he then raised the price to $1,025... We refused to pay 4 times the original price and he still refuses to give me my furniture.

Desired Outcome

Our furniture back for the agreed upon price.

Faith Relocation quoted $200 to move my son and then requested from him >500 threatening to not unload the truck and take his furniture.
We have email and text message confirmation of the 200$ for 3h service and once they moved my son who goes to university of Miami they, out of his apartment, before unloading his furniture at the storage location they Requested him to pay them $>500 in cash (didn't accept credit ard we used for a $75 down payment) and where yelling and threatening him that they would drive off and keep his furniture if he wouldn't pay.

Desired Outcome

As we were worried About the safety of our son we paid them Using Zelle App as our son was not able to withdraw more than $500 from an ATM.

Absolute scam. The other review is almost certainly fake as a quick search on yelp proves the people behind this company always try to scam their customers. Faith is actually the name of their new outfit. Their last outfit was known as D and N Relocation services but is now marked as closed on yelp. They gave me a quote of $200 to move my belongings AFTER all information regarding the move and location were given. Once they already had my things and were ready to offload the belongings into my storage unit, they presented me with a bill of $530 and told me if I didn't sign that they'd drive away with my things. I signed just because I didn't want to be ***, and gave them what cash I had so they could just remove my stuff from their truck. When they removed my things from their truck and demanded I pay the total $530 despite them never mentioning this in the initial agreement, they threatened to go back into the storage unit and ***. Since they *** me***. The police made sure they didn't try to ***, but unfortunately couldn't do much else since they already had a signature (forced) from me. I coughed up the money just so I could leave. We have already reported them to the department of transportation and filed an official complaint as this is a known scam. Please do not use them. They will force you to pay much more than the original price but only once they have your things in their truck

Mr. *** quoted a price of $700 firm for pick up and delivery. The driver didn't show up until after 24 hours. I was required to deposit $100. Once the drivers picked up another $200. When they arrived at my residence I was told the remaining balance was Total With fuel surcharge
Is $1379'00
Deposit of $300
Remaining balance $1079'00. I was given a firm price of $700. The owner lied and tired to keep my property and make me pay more money.

Desired Outcome

Refund I ended up paying $800 and was sent messages demanding more money. I tried to be understanding however I will not be taken advantage of and other people need to be aware.
