Apparently my account has been suspended for inconsistent activity which I'm not really sure what activity that would be I sign in to the only account I have use my deposit methods that I have always used my one card was blocked from being used from fanduel so I started using the play + account apparently that isn't aloud either all of a sudden I'm suspended now

Unexpected suspended account
My account was suspended June 18th 2022, for no reason except according to FanDuel “due to inconsistent activity”.

I placed larger bets like I have in the past and I won. This left with with a little over $30,000 to withdrawal.
I have a screenshot of those email withdrawal requests from before my account was suspended.

Have heard nothing from the accounts team; and customer service stopped replying saying to wait for a response from them. I don’t have time to wait and neither does my bank account, I would like my money now. I’ve sent them the screenshot of withdrawals and the amounts; and am willing to provide any documentation to prove my identity but they’ve completely ghosted me and have stopped responding.

$30,180.96 if my math is correct is in limbo. This is highly unacceptable and I have filed a complaint with the US Gaming Commission but all I can do is wait and it feels like I’ve been robbed.

Horrible customer service!!!
I had asked them via live chat if my check had been mailed? I got a very rude person that told me 7-14 business days. Which I'm completely fine with. However, I doubt that happens as it hasn't even been processed in a weeks time. They suspended my account for responsible gaming rules while they investigate. I have only made 2 deposits ever with them. I'm not sure why asking about my refund gives them a reason to suspend my account. What really makes me mad is I was in 2 MLB contests when they suspended it. I have no clue how I finished. I was in 3rd place in one of them. No way to contact them by phone. My live chats are immediately closed. now I'm going to have to get a lawyer. Not sure how he will reach them either. And FYI, I am a big player, that doesn't matter. Username jbrison34.

Hello! I have had my fanduel account for a while and have enjoyed playing it. I have placed quite a few bets with them and have won some bets as well. I like the promotions they be having so I have really enjoyed fanduel it was one of my favorite sportsbook site. The Friendsgiving promotion they just had of $100 per referral was really great, I was referring people to Fanduel. Everything was going fine as it always have. Then yesterday morning I sign in to withdraw and received the message that my account has been suspended to contact customer care. So I contacted customer support immediately I have contacted them via live chat and was told they cannot see any information regarding my account it has been referred to the accounts team and they will reach out via email Today and still no email. I contacted them again and was just told they escalated it. I have a total of $205 in my account most earned from the Friendsgiving promotion. I hope this be resolved soon as possible and that my account is reinstated. From the email in my accounts from fanduel it said the account was suspended because of inconsistent activity with my account which I do not even know what that means since they did not elaborate or what could be the inconsistent activity. Hope this issue is resolved soon and my account is reinstated. As of now I still have not heard anything back from the accounts team and my account is still suspended.

I have not received 1 email from the accounts team at all. I really thought this issue would have got resolved today, but I guess not. Please contact me so my account can get verified.

Can you contact me so my account can get verified and resolved? I have been waiting and checking my email constantly and have not heard back from the accounts team. I have a balance in my account that can be withdrawn and I can’t even do that. I did not expect it to take this long in order for this issue to be resolved. Regular customer service is of no help.

To whom it may concern,We write in response to [redacted] ***s December *** consumer complaint regarding FanDuel's deposit bonus, Complaint ID: [redacted] As discussed in detail below, FanDuel provided clear, thorough and accessible information regarding its bonus promotion that was available to [redacted] prior to his initial deposit and submission of any entry fees on FanDuelMoreover, when [redacted] contacted FanDuel, we responded promptly to him and provided him additional credits for further playFanDuel's "First Time Deposit Bonus" is a promotion where FanDuel will contribute an additional percentage of a user's first deposit into his FanDuel accountFanDuel has structured this promotion such that the bonus “unlocks over time,” in an effort to counteract fraud and potential manipulation of the promotion by users who create multiple accounts simply to accrue the bonuses Accordingly, the bonus is deposited into the user's account gradually, as the user participates in contests, at a rate of 4% of the entry fee for each contest entered These details, including the terms and conditions p***aining to the promotion, are clearly identified on the FanDuel websiteIn particular, these terms are prominently accessible to any user prior to him making a deposit on the FanDuel website as explained in further detail in the next paragraph After a user registers with FanDuel, the first screen that he sees is a prominent, direct, and user-friendly explanation of the bonus system See Exhibit A The fact that the bonus “unlocks as you play over time” is clearly and conspicuously noted in the middle of the page, followed immediately by a link to learn more about “how it [the bonus system] works.” When a user clicks on this link, a screen pops up that explains how the bonus works in simple, accessible language, and in a large font See Exhibit B Specifically, the language indicates the bonus is “earned gradually after you enter and complete paid contests” and “is released as real cash at a rate of 4% of the entry fee of the contest you enter.” Furthermore, the How It Works page provides an example of how the bonus is earned: “For example, if you enter a $contest, $of deposit bonus will be released into your main funds account.” FanDuel’s adv***isements also disclose that the bonus is “earned as you play” and explicitly state that the full rules for the promotion are found on the FanDuel website and that the promotion is subject to those rulesSee Exhibit CIn sum, [redacted] was provided clear, thorough and accessible information regarding FanDuel's first time deposit bonus and has received a bonus consistent with FanDuel's termsOn September **, 2014, [redacted] created his FanDuel account and deposited $with a 100% bonus match offer, making him eligible for a $pending bonusSince that time, [redacted] has entered contests using a total of $in entry fees [redacted] was credited with 4% of those entry fees as a bonus into his FanDuel account, consistent with FanDuel's terms explained above.On December **, 2016, [redacted] contacted FanDuel concerning his bonus fundsFanDuel promptly responded to [redacted] ***, repeating the bonus process outlined above and noting that the information had been provided prior to his ability to deposit fundsFanDuel also offered [redacted] a $play credit to use on the site.FanDuel takes its consumer messaging seriously, as it wants users to be satisfied with its product As evidenced by the displays on its site and the plain language used in its adv***isements, FanDuel has been careful to ensure that it provides clear, thorough, and accessible information regarding its bonus promotion in order to avoid misleading or confusing its consumers FanDuel also seeks to provide a positive user experience, including throughout the customer care cycle Accordingly, FanDuel corresponded with [redacted] promptly regarding his concerns and provided him with credit on the FanDuel site.We appreciate the opportunity to respond to your letter, and we would be happy to answer any questions if they ariseSincerely,Jason F*SrDirector Customer Support & StrategyFanDuel

We were able to find the entry this user is referring to, which was credited to their account for free as part of a promotion we were running However, this user now lives in an ineligible state, which means they are not able to compete in any contests on FanDuel.Thus, while this is certainly an unfortunate situation, we had to cancel this free entry for the user and will not be providing any refund for this entry, as no funds were removed from their account to pay for the entry

We applied for an extension with the IRS which allowed us to send out all tax forms by March ***.As mentioned by this user, he received the form by the required date, and there was thus no wrongdoing on our end.Further, users are able to calculate an estimate of their net earnings as they have access to their entry and winning history as well as transaction historyThe full details regarding the necessity of taxes are detailed on our website in our Terms of Service and FAQs.Ultimately, the filing of earnings are the responsibility of the user, and we are under no obligation to pay tax fees for individuals.That being said, we will not be providing the user with any type of credit

We have recently implemented a new verification process, which asks all FanDuel users to verify their identity by providing various forms of identification This process is in place to ensure our users are able to participate in a safe and fair environment However, this user was unwillingly to complete this process, and we have thus gone ahead and allowed them to withdraw their remaining balance as well as closed their account as requested

At FanDuel, we offer users a complete daily fantasy sports experience We allow users to join pre-made contests as well as the ability to create their own In this case, the user here created a "Friends Only" H2H (head to head) contest that was matched randomly with a public entry at game start which is a process that happens daily Here's how it works in regards to this complaint User A creates a "private" H2H and sends the contest to his friend to join The Friend (user B) must successfully enter the contest before the game start deadline The contest will remain unmatched privately until entered by user BOnce the deadline occurs, FanDuel randomly matches all unfilled public AND private H2H If other open private or public entries under the same terms are available, all will be randomly matched until inventory runs out This process is clearly described in our Help section and has been a policy since we started FanDuel over years ago The reason we do this is we've found that many users just blast out friend challenges because they want to participate in that evenings contests It's disappointing if you have a friend that doesn't enter, so we randomly match unfilled entries up with other like-minded users who couldn't find a match Since users pay for their entry upon submission, we feel the intention is to play out the contest We understand that many users want to only play their friends, so if you wish to cancel your unmatched entries before game start, we allow you that option in which the user is fully refundedOf course, if there are issues canceling, our support team is available via email and live chat between 8am and 2am daily On Thursday 5/ [redacted] contacted us via email with this same complaintWe refunded [redacted] immediately the $he requested, made a note on his account as we always do, provided him an appropriate response with instructions on how to avoid in the future and solved the issue Days later, he contacted us via email again and complained of the same issueOur support agent, seeing the note on the account from a few days earlier explained again why this happened but did not offer the refund We chose this resolution because we feel that once a user experience an issue, gets an appropriate resolution, it likely won't happen again In our industry, we have users who consistently attempt to take advantage of the system While we do not feel this is the case here, our support agent stuck to our internal policies on crediting/refunding user accounts Certainly, had the issue been escalated up the chain we would have provided another but last $courtesy refund To conclude, we have gone ahead and credited [redacted] another $to his account today 5/** I have personally emailed him to apologize for the frustration and let him know of the credit Hopefully we can consider this issues resolved Thank you

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:It appears Jason is merely following the standard Fanduel scripted response to everyone for everything and has completely failed to address any of my specific questions/points He didn’t even try to answer a single one:· Jason fails to provide any legal reason to withhold my money and to require a SSN in my specific case· Jason fails to explain how my SSN is required as part of the so-called “verification” process when it wasn’t asked for in the establishment of the account, and they do not have a SSN on file to which to compare it· Jason does not address my question of why they allow people to start accounts without providing as SSN if that is going to be required to withdraw any money· Jason fails to address the hypocrisy of saying I can withdrawal all of my money regardless of the amount without a SSN, but to withdraw $I need to provide a SSN· Jason fails to address the point that Fanduel seems very eager to allow me to withdraw all my money without a SSN so my pending bonus goes awayAs Jason has failed to properly address any of my points or even attempt to provide any new specific explanations, I reject Fanduel’s/Jason’s response Jason providing just a standard boiler plate response as Director of Customer Service is very disappointing I would think Jason would want to personally address my issues with specific information and address my individual needs Also, it is very disappointing that apparently Jason has instructed all of his agents to ignore any of my customer service needs and not talk to me even on items completely unrelated to this complaint.As Bruce T [redacted] said quite eloquently, "Your customers don’t live in spreadsheets; you need to go out and talk to them to understand who they are as peopleThat is, of course, unless each of your customers is really a 55% female with kids who is 48% from a suburb and is 11% Hispanic."
