I was given a score needed for a VA loan, but after meeting the desired score, I was unable to obtain the pre-qualification with no explanation of why I went into contract with [redacted] , they forced me to apply with this company FBC to qualify for $5k in incentives towards closing At first, I was very hesitant because where I work, I have heard nothing but terrible experiences from co-workers However, for $5k towards closing, I was willing to give it a chance I was looking for a VA loan, and I would need to sell my current home to work the deal on the new house The builder requires applying for the loan within three business days after signing the contract which I did I knew I was going to have a few issues with my credit because I had just paid off some collections and I was waiting for my credit to reflect that The first pull was done to meet the builder's demand, but my middle score was below what FBC requires However, we did the second pull a couple of day

On December 27th, a representative at FBC told me not to worry about making my January payment after going through a forbearance period because January would be included into my loss mitigation and I didn't have to make the paymentI asked the representative twice if he was sure and he said "Yes." Now I am being contacted daily by FBC regarding that January payment and saying that I am late and they are trying to collect a debtI have tried to resolve this matter by calling the company on 1/12/2018, 1/17/2018, 1/24/2018, 1/28/2018, 1/30/2018, 1/31/2018, 2/1/2018, and today 2/5/with little to no help with updating my account or speaking with someone that can tell me what it's being done with my account to resolve this matterAt the Collections Department there has been no attempt to understand the situation other than transferring me to VM or supervisors not willing to take my call Please help me to get my account back on track

I was offered forbearance assistance due to hurricane Irma for a financial burdenI was then denied the loan modification I was told I could request Sept 2017, hurricane Irma forced us to evacuate the state Fortunately nothing happened to the house but prepping and evacuating took a toll on us financially This was explained to the Customer Service Representative who suggested a month forbearance loan disaster assistance He informed it would not affect my loan what so ever and I could pick o options, loan modification being one of them which I requested Jan began my issues None of their departments speak to each other, I was given the run around daily from all departments I was connected to I spoke with a Supervisor that promised I would receive a call within hours that did not occur I was placed on hold to speak to additional Supervisors and the calls then mysteriously disconnected after a 10-minute wait I was getting no where until I emailed both th

I do not recommend FBC Mortgage. Their fees are higher than normal. They will want you to sign forms agreeing to this. Go somewhere else and save yourself your hard earned money.

Poor Service and lying Unprofessional, Undependable, Quitter I was referred to her by a real estate agent Blames you for her failures and not following thru on her end Does not return phone calls!!! Does not keep you in the loop Thanks to her and her poor performance we lost the house we wanted to buy Never met someone who is as unprofessional as her Looking thru her feedback it seems to be a trend Use any company but these people-You will be disappointed!!!

Overall, they are okay I got a good rate through Home Loans Today and the process wasn't overly painful The only thing that bothered me was that they promised me that they never transfer or sell my loan, but that was a lie I hate it how one dishonest salesman can leave such a bitter taste At any rate, if they tell you they won't sell or transfer your loan, don't believe them As a result of the transfer, I'm now with [redacted]

FBC ballooned my mortgage payments over $a month one year after refinancing with FBC on my FHA Loan One year ago after being laid off, I refinanced my FHA loan to lower my interest rate and the mortgage company was FBC A year later, they first sent a notification the mortgage would increase due to a change in Homeowner insurance companies, which they paid the new company (Allstate) before the current company (Liberty Mutual) completed the refund for the payment already made That was the first flag because the insurance rate decreased and then there was another notification there was a shortage in the escrow which raised another flag Even with the refinance, the mortgage payment was about the same, only decrease less than $and with a decrease in Homeowners insurance and property taxes remained the same, I questioned where the shortage was I have not gotten any definite responses, only their customer service representatives who are very hostile in tone unable to

I signed up with Home Loans Today to refinance my mortgage. They failed to process it and now they are not refunding the appraisal fees I had signed up with Home Loans Today to refinance my mortgage. After I provided all the paperwork, they told me that they've gone through it and everything is in orderBased on that, they order appraisal which I had to pay out of pocketAfter waiting for a month and a half, they failed to close the loanAt that point, I demanded them to refund the appraisal amount. But now, they are refusing to do soThe fault is completely at their end since they were not diligent enough Here's my loan information: Name: [redacted] Number: [redacted] Loan Officer : Chelsea S [redacted] Contact #: [redacted]

We were supposed to close months agoThey keep shutting down branches and passing our loan off to othersNo one will return our calls We started our refinance back in DecemberThey keep sg down locations and handing our loan off to other peopletimes we've taken off work because they said we were closingWe have tons of late fees because they said we were closing and telling us to tell our old loan company to waitThis has seriously cost us over 10k because of their negligence and no care for the customerWe were supposed to close again today, but as you may expect, they didn't schedule anyone to come out and no one will answer our calls

I'm having a horrible experience dealing with FBC Mortgage and their department that handles loss claims My roof was damaged by hail I sent FBC Mortg the endorsed insurance check which they have held my funds since early December I paid and completed the repairs in November This company continues to fumble the ball over and over again It's impossible to get a straight answer, I've had to call them numerous times I've asked for a supervisor to return my call on three occasions and was told that would happen within hours and I never received a call back Finally on my 4th request a supervisor did call me back They finally were able to track down the information that I previously submitted and now I'm told I need an inspection of my roof repairs Why wasn't this done back the first week of December? They have no clue what they are doing Now I'm told only 90% of the funds will be released and I'm again at the mercy of trying to get ahold of someone to have the remaining $2,plus released They have held MY funds for months, I'm owed $20, I would never recommend this mortgage company to anyone They are horrible, customer service is horrible

Sent me to collections and reported my mortgage late and I was never lateMy loan was transferred within months of them handling my loan and they screwed me big timeI have all the docs to show my payments were actually on time and there's a federal law prohibiting them from even declaring a late payment within days of a loan transferHorrible experience

My son, wife and I were approved to buy a new house and after setting us for closing appt, some last minor error on their end stopped the closing
On April 2018, my son and wife paid a down payment to separate a brand new home still in construction, and I was their co-signerAt that moment we all were pre-approved and guaranteed that there will be no problem They even put a "Sold" sign in front of the property while it was been finishedSo, we expend over a month complying with every request and documentation they asked to complete the closing, and we were finally informed we were officially approved and set for closing May They even gave us instructions to wire over $7,on closing costs, so we did, and went to our scheduled closing appointment with the sureness that everything was confirmedAlso as scheduled, we did the "walk-thru" the house that same morning and by 1pm or so arrived at the closing place, Fidelity National Title just to be informed the papers were not re
