Customer Service at its worst
Initially with the mortgage origination, there was never an explanation of the process, or what it might entail to include a pool with the houseOur contact person at the time Quanta O*** always seemed inconvenienced whenever we would callMonths later, as I felt screwed by both FBC and the Home builder ***, after trying incessantly to finance a pool (to no avail), I again reached out to FBC-only to be met with hostility and repeated inconvenienceThe representative, who I cannot recall at this time, said she would look into options for me and get back to meProbably after realizing that she could not help me, she did not have the decency of returning my phone callIt really is a shame to have a financial obligation and relationship with FBC considering that they want nothing to do with you after they have closed on the house; to use an analogy, it is almost like dealing with an estranged spouse-distant and silentThere is not much th

On September 11, I received an email from my mortgage company (FBC Mortgage) offering us forbearance on our home loan very shortly after Hurricane Harvey destroyed most of Houston, TX The email was straightforward and stated that we could take advantage of a 3-month suspension of payments The offer sounded good so I responded YES to the offer In October, the mortgage statements that I was receiving reflected a past due amount I called FBC and they said ignore those statements and that everything would get sorted out at the end of the forbearance period The same statements came in November and December reflecting an ever increasing past due amount I received automated calls from FBC requesting that I contact them re: past due amountsI returned those calls and found that the generous forbearance offer would require us to either pay off the past due amount or begin a 3-month trial period whereby we would make our payments and then a loan modification would be compl

Sent me to collections and reported my mortgage late and I was never lateMy loan was transferred within months of them handling my loan and they screwed me big timeI have all the docs to show my payments were actually on time and there's a federal law prohibiting them from even declaring a late payment within days of a loan transferHorrible experience

On December 27th, a representative at FBC told me not to worry about making my January payment after going through a forbearance period because January would be included into my loss mitigation and I didn't have to make the paymentI asked the representative twice if he was sure and he said "Yes." Now I am being contacted daily by FBC regarding that January payment and saying that I am late and they are trying to collect a debtI have tried to resolve this matter by calling the company on 1/12/2018, 1/17/2018, 1/24/2018, 1/28/2018, 1/30/2018, 1/31/2018, 2/1/2018, and today 2/5/with little to no help with updating my account or speaking with someone that can tell me what it's being done with my account to resolve this matterAt the Collections Department there has been no attempt to understand the situation other than transferring me to VM or supervisors not willing to take my call
Please help me to get my account back on track

FBC Mortgage LLC was recommended to me by my financial planner My purpose was to refinance our home to reduce unsecured debt I interacted over the phone and email with Jeni P*** She was phenomenal! While we had all documents ready that were needed, she had our completed quote within business days! Highly recommend this company and Jeni P***!

Bryan R***, FBC Branch Manager, assured my husband and myself that FBC Mortgage, LLC would finance our mortgage for the purchase of a home up to $250, Before receiving the pre-approval letter from FBC we gave all of our financial history Bryan R***, which included bankruptcy and Deed In Lieu of Foreclosure documents We entered into a contract with***, the home builder, with the understanding that FBC Mortgage would provide financing The pre-approval letter was a requirement for initiating the offer/contract process Upon signing the contract we had to pay a deposit in the amount of $1,and another non-refundable deposit in the amount of $4,This transaction took place on September 1, 2015.Closing was scheduled for April 15, On April 12, we received a voicemail from Bryan R*** indicating that there was a problem with underwriting After three weeks going back and forth, our mortgage loan was denied We attempted to find alternative financing,

Sept 2017, hurricane Irma forced us to evacuate the state Fortunately nothing happened to the house but prepping and evacuating took a toll on us financially This was explained to the Customer Service Representative who suggested a month forbearance loan disaster assistance He informed it would not affect my loan what so ever and I could pick o options, loan modification being one of them which I requested Jan began my issues None of their departments speak to each other, I was given the run around daily from all departments I was connected to I spoke with a Supervisor that promised I would receive a call within hours that did not occur I was placed on hold to speak to additional Supervisors and the calls then mysteriously disconnected after a 10-minute wait I was getting no where until I emailed both th

My annual escrow mortgage account was not adjusted properly to cover the increase in the assessed amount for I was not informed until DecemberThis increased amount had accumulated all year without my knowledgeThe letter I received basically said, you owe $or your house payment will increase an additional $per monthQuite a shock and quite a large amountI pay all year on time with an additional $per month on the principleIf I was informed of this early on, I could have adjusted money from principal to escrow and kept this under controlAn additional $a month for most families I would assume could be devastatingHopefully I can cut some corners this year and not lose the propertyWould like to know where and how the mistake was made?

I signed up with Home Loans Today to refinance my mortgage.They failed to process it and now they are not refunding the appraisal fees
I had signed up with Home Loans Today to refinance my mortgage.After I provided all the paperwork, they told me that they've gone through it and everything is in orderBased on that, they order appraisal which I had to pay out of pocketAfter waiting for a month and a half, they failed to close the loanAt that point, I demanded them to refund the appraisal amount.But now, they are refusing to do soThe fault is completely at their end since they were not diligent enough

Incorrectly reported a late payment which made credit score drop
My husband and I were on the Hurricane payment plan after Hurricane Irma (FL state declared a state wide emergency) Payment plan started and we were making payments at a higher rate and the rest of what we owed would be put in our modificationEach month I called in to the make the payment and each time they verified it was a hurricane irma paymentEvery payment should be under Hurricane Irma Current paymentThey put one of our payments under a partial payment, then reported us days lateI found out not through FBC but when I applied for a credit card and I was declinedAs I was confused about this since I have great credit, I pulled a credit scoreI found out FBC Mortgate had said we were days late on a paymentSeeeming How I knew we payed every payment I called to speak to a repThey could not give me a straight answerI requested for them to send me a letter showing it was incorrectly inputted

My experience with FBC Mortgage was through a second party We were the seller and our buyer used FBC for their loan Their office people and supervisors were the slowest, most unprofessional people that I have ever heard of A loan that was suppose to be pre-approved was dragged along for a month with one excuse after another as to why it wasn't processed Anywhere from the underwriting not signing a form to newly discovered issues with the loan application every week The supervisor who took the file made just as many excuses but would always state the file would be complete at the end of the day We heard that excuse for over weeksI would never recommend anyone to this company if you are looking for a loan with a timely closing We are still waiting to see if the closing will every happen and it has been weeks since the process has begun

Not crediting our payments after hurricane "relief" and they are threatening foreclosure
After hurricane Irma hit FL, FBC Bank offered a relief program and my husband and I agreedMonths later we started to get letters stating that we didn't make our payments and we would be foreclosed onI have sent all the bank statements showing the payments from our bank account going to FBC BankThey have returned one of our payments stating that they need the balance paid in full which includes months they state we haven't paid! We decided to hire an attorney at this pointBe careful with any forms you sign

I'm having a horrible experience dealing with FBC Mortgage and their department that handles loss claims. My roof was damaged by hail. I sent FBC Mortg the endorsed insurance check which they have held my funds since early December. I paid and completed the repairs in November. This company continues to fumble the ball over and over again. It's impossible to get a straight answer, I've had to call them numerous times. I've asked for a supervisor to return my call on three occasions and was told that would happen within 24 hours and I never received a call back. Finally on my 4th request a supervisor did call me back. They finally were able to track down the information that I previously submitted and now I'm told I need an inspection of my roof repairs. Why wasn't this done back the first week of December? They have no clue what they are doing. Now I'm told only 90% of the funds will be released and I'm again at the mercy of trying to get ahold of someone to have the remaining $2,000 plus released. They have held MY funds for 1.5 months, I'm owed $20,911. I would never recommend this mortgage company to anyone. They are horrible, customer service is horrible.
