FBCS, Inc Reviews (31)

This person calls me every time asking why I didn't pay my bill and I said when you send the bill I will pay for it but meaning that I'm tribal they will pay for it.

Review: FBCS, Inc. has placed a collection item on my [redacted] credit report and done so without contacting me before-hand. I sent a letter on 9.6.2014 to them detailing this:

To: FBCS, Inc.

From: [redacted], OH [redacted]

9/6/2014

It has come to my attention that your company FBCS has placed a collection item on my [redacted] credit report, and you have done so without contacting me in any way; this letter is to place your company on notice that this is a violation of Federal law and any and all negative trade lines must be removed from all 3 credit reports [redacted] as well as [redacted] & [redacted] asap. Failure to comply will result in an immediate filing with the Revdex.com as well as the Attorney General of PA. I do not contract with FBCS!

You are hereby notified under the provisions of Public Laws 95-109 and 99-361, also known as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, that your services are no longer needed or desired in this matter.

1) You and your organization must CEAST & DESIST all attempts to collect the above debt. Failure to comply with this law will result in my immediately filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and this state Attorney General's Office. I will pursue all criminal and civil claims against your company.

2) Let this letter also serve as your warning that I may utilize telephone-recording devices in order to document any telephone conversations that we may have in the future.

3) Furthermore, if any negative information is placed on my credit bureau reports by your agency after receipt of this notice this will cause me to file suit against you and your organization, both personally and corporately, to seek any and all legal remedies available to me by law. Since it is my policy neither to recognize nor deal with collection agencies, I intend to settle my account with the original creditor, if I ever am able and the statute of limitations hasn't run out.

Sincerely:__________________________________

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Remove negative FBCS, Inc. item from all 3 Credit Bureaus - [redacted] & [redacted] ASAP. Failure to to so will result in me filing a complaint with the PA Attorney General's Office and as well as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Regards,

Review: This company is in severe violation of the FCRA guidelines which could enable litigation. The dates reported to Experian are completely false and do not represent anywhere even close to the date of original default. This debt defaulted over 7 years ago and antedates the 7 year reporting period. The dates reported have been illegally manipulated to re-age an old zombie debt.Desired Settlement: Remove immediately and cease & desist any future collection activity

Regards,

First off I want to say that the reason for having to deal with this company is 100% my fault I got into some financial problems and one of my accounts ended up in this office. That being said I sent up a payment arrangement with this company and from the beginning I told them I wanted a contract sent to me with all of the payments listed on it so that I knew how many payments I had. I never received the letter I requested so after my payment that came out on august third I contacted them asking how many payments I had left and I was assured that that payment was my final payment well here we are in September and they take out another payment and I contact them and now they say that this was my final payment. I was warned about working with these companies without legal help and for the most part I have had no problems but with FBCS they will steal from you obviously I am trying my hardest to get my finances in order and companies like this make it very difficult.

Review: I have been receiving phone calls from the following phone numbers:

###-###-####, ###-###-####, and ###-###-####

I do not answer the calls, and no message is left. I called the numbers and get a recording that it's to a business "FBCS." I have no idea who this company is, not do I understand why I receive several calls a day from those numbers.

I did a search on the phone numbers, and find it is to a company "Federal Bond & Collection Services, Inc."

I absolutely have no idea who this company is, and since they leave no message, I do not know why they are calling my number.Desired Settlement: FBCS is to immediately cease and desist from contacting me any further. I am on the Do Not Call list.

Sincerely,

Review: Today I checked my credit report, and there was a collection from the company federal bond and collection. I have never heard of this company, I have never received any information pertaining to the bill or collection in question. I have no idea what it is from, or where it came from. It said the account was opened in May, From something out of the state I live in! I suspect it is fraudulent, or extremely old--especially because I just dealt with a collection from the same company, [redacted] Corporation, that was taken off my credit report for the same reason...not mine, and no knowledge of it! I am not pleased with the federal bond and collection, they have failed to attempt an explanation of my "supposed debt." I would like this removed immediately from my credit report, and for the company to never contact me. This has interfered with my life twice this month, and it is sickening. If this matter is not resolved in a timely matter, I will have to contact an attorney. This practice of not contacting and ruining someone's credit is unjust.Desired Settlement: Remove from all credit agencies, no contact, explanation of "supposed debt" and most of all stop reporting this unjust debt to credit angencies

FBCS recently started reporting on an account on both Experian and Equifax, that is nearly 6 years old. It is showing the account open date at 12/30/2015. Considering the account is a medical bill from when I lived in Florida 6 years ago and now I am active duty military, there is absolutely no way that the account is from this date. The last time it would be from would be early 2010. I've disputed this through the credit bureau with zero luck. I've also called the company and left multiple voicemail's and not a single one has been returned. FBCS has made zero attempt to contact me. No letters, no calls, just random updated reporting on my credit report. I am getting ready to move overseas because of the military and this has greatly hurt my credit score which is very important for renting homes and buying a car once I get overseas.

Review: This women named [redacted] called today to say I owed a bill for $230 to [redacted]. when I asked for the information to back up what I owed which I believe has been paid in full already she informed me that she does not have a employer number whom gave her the account to collect on and I need to just pay what I owe. Again I asked for proof of what I owed and they told me to search my own records and show them the proof. I asked them to send me a bill in the mail and they said I need to pay them now I refused and hung up if they provide people with the truth things might get agreed upon. Sincerely, [redacted]Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)

They need to provide the information to back up their collection and send me proof in the mail they have my address since they had my phone number.
