Review: Our washer/dryer from Felix Storch simply does not work. After 3 dryer cycles— a cumulative drying time of over 9 hours— our clothes are still so wet that air-drying is insufficient. This affects our power bills, and it also allows mildew to grow on our clothes, which has already become a problem.

A repairman came by today and told us that our washer/dryer is working as it should (i.e., very poorly). In addition, we tried reaching out to Felix Storch Inc.. Not only we were unable to get through, but the phone number does not seem to be correct: The voicemail message is clearly not a company's voicemail message, and it references a different number.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund so that we can buy a machine that works from a more credible company.

Review: I have had difficulty securing service for our Summit fridge/freezer. It has not maintained a steady temperature, and has erratic fluxuations. I first contacted Felix Storch about this issue and was told service would be set up with [redacted]. After we had not heard from anyone for two days, I called [redacted] myself, and was told they no longer serviced Summit appliances. I called Felix Storch to notify them of this, and then awaited a call back for multiple days. I had to call Felix Storch again, and was told that they would try to reason with [redacted]. I waited a couple more days, then in my next conversation with Felix Storch, I was told that since they were unable to find a servicer we would receive a credit and that a unit pick up would be scheduled. After a few days of no contact to set up the pick up, I called Felix Storch yet again, and was told that they found a servicer and that I was obligated to have the unit looked at before we would be allowed to complete the return. The representative told me [redacted] would be in touch to schedule service, but that she would like more information to be able to relay to the servicer. I emailed some recent temperatures (which were in range- though previous temperatures were clearly out of range, which I made very clear), then received a response stating that our situation no longer warranted a service call.

We have been bounced around. We have struggled to maintain timely contact with Felix Storch, we were told we would get service, then we were told the unit would be scheduled for pick up and a refund would be given, then we were told we would get service, and lastly, we were told we would not get service. All solutions granted by Felix Storch have been retracted. Because of the malfunctions (extreme temperature variation) of the unit we purchased (which is advertised as a professional medical refrigerator/freezer- we purchased it to store vaccines for our pediatric medical practice), we lost $3297.12 in vaccines.

Felix Storch has caused an inappropriate delay in completing service, and has failed to honor verbal commitments to both service and a return.Desired Settlement: We would like Felix Storch to schedule a pick up of our unit, and we would like a full refund.

Customer is misinformed regarding the unit they purchased.They purchased a FFBF245SSLHD which is a household refrigerator and is absolutely not advertised as a professional medical refrigerator. As a household unit, temperature fluctuations will range between 10 and 12 degrees depending on the setting where the refrigerator is located and if the unit is in defrost mode.Perhaps the fact that they purchased a data logger indicated to them that the unit was "medical grade." The use of a data logger simply is for tracking temperature and has no affect whatsoever on the functioning of the refrigerator.A review of their sales receipt from the customer's vendor clearly states use of the unit for a "household kitchen."

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

My original complaint about the fluctuation in temperature (which at the end of January was 16 degrees- from 30 to 46 degrees Fahrenheit, without adjustment) is not appropriately addressed. Neither is the neglect I created this complaint about: We asked for service initially, were told we would get service, and the business did not follow through. We were told the unit would be picked up and we would receive a credit, and the business did not follow through. We were told we would receive service again, and the business did not follow through. I again requested the service the business committed to setting up, and the business disregarded my request. I also find it interesting that this model is featured on the '[redacted]' website, which advertises its products as 'medical and scientific refrigeration'- and while the write up of the unit itself does not state anything about being a medical refrigerator, the fact the unit is featured on such a page is misleading. Medical or not, this refrigerator needs to be evaluated by a servicer- a fluctuation of 16 degrees in a short period of time is abnormal. I would like Felix Storch to follow through with their commitment to take back this unit. The poor rating of D- on the Revdex.com website demonstrates an opportunity for this company to turn a corner and provide some quality customer service.

Review: We bought a Summit cook top from a store called Yudins in New Jersey in November 2013 for a new kitchen. The cooktop model is GC443BGL. The cooktop delivered was damaged and the ceramic igniters were broken. We spoke to the dealer and he arranged for the importer Felix Storch to deliver a new one to us. This took a few months but on the [redacted] January they delivered a new one. When I came home that night I inspected it and it had one igniter broken. I called the dealer and he assured me that they would deliver another one. Two weeks went buy and I received a replacement igniter which required me to open the product to see if I could put it in. On opening I found the whole part was broken off inside and I informed the dealer that they would have to send a new one. Since then and until to-day, the [redacted] of February - they have not replaced the cook top and I get regular emails from my dealer that he is in touch with them and they are promising to deliver a new one.

I dont beleive this Company has any type of customer service and I don't beleive they have any intention of replacing a new product which they delivered (twice) defectiveDesired Settlement: To get a new non defective product that we have been waiting for almost 4 months now - so we can finish our kitchen.

At this time, my complaint, ID [redacted] regarding Felix Storch Inc. has been resolved, not exactley to my satisfaction, The Company mailed me parts - requiring me to dismantle and insert the new parts into this gas stove, to replace the broken ones. Whilst I was able to do this in about 1 hour - I dont think it is something the end user customer should have to do on a brand new product they bought, and I would not recommend anyone buying from this Company, when there are so many others who would have better customer support.

Review: I purchased a SCR1536 Beverage Center, the manufacturer states that the unit will cool the contents to 34-43 degrees and to install it in an area that has an ambient temp. between 60-90 degrees. After a few months of use the performance began to decrease and unit would run for several hours. On a warm day the unit ran constantly to the point of overheating and had to be turned off, I called Felix Storch Inc. and they sent out their repair service, the tech. told me that the unit was not capable of maintaining a temp. of 34 degrees because of an inherent design problem, he turned the thermostat up to 39 degrees and said that was all he could do. The instruction manual contradict's itself by stating to install in an area between 60 F- 90F degrees, yet on page 8 under operating your appliance it states that if the ambient temp. is above or below 72F-78F degrees that the interior temp. of 34-43 degrees may not be reached. This is absurd for a specialty beverage cooler to not be able to perform unless the room temp. is below 78 degrees. My SCR1536 now will not even cool to 45 degrees, and has a burn odor and runs constantly to the point of overheating and has to be turned off. After contacting [redacted] @ customer service, he agrees that it is not right, but after numerous Emails and phone calls has done nothing to help.Desired Settlement: To refund $605.00 or to replace,or to repair at no cost to me.

Review: We requested a refund for two Freezers we had purchased after the first had been replaced with another defective unit. We submitted the paper work requested and were told we would receive an answer in two weeks. 6 weeks later the individual we contact and submitted the paper work to was no longer with the company and we directed to another individual. She ask foe the same paper work which we faxed a copy to, she acknowledge receipt and said she would call back in 24 hrs. with a response to our request. 10 phone calls and 3 email and 4 weeks later we still have not heard a reply to or request or messages.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund for the full amount paid for both units, by ** November 2013. After that date we will be asking purchase price plus interest at the maximum allowed rate.
