We apologize for the error.   The $9 fee was accidentally not collected from you when you purchased the vehicle, as such it was not included in the check to PennDOT.  I'm glad to hear that the rest of the paperwork has already processed through PennDOT and this matter is finally settled. Thanks,DavidFeretti Motors[redacted] [redacted]

The vehicle in question is a 4 year old vehicle with a reconstructed branded title which was sold as-is with no warranties.  The issues that the customer noted are all what would be considered wear and tear and are not safety or mechanical issues.  The customer was offered a "goodwill"...

payment of $500 towards the correction of the issues, but they did not return a signed release form which was sent to them.  Then the customer contacted us and said they would no longer accept the $500 payment and demanded $1000 instead.  At that point we ceased communication with the customer.  Also, we are not aware of any promises made during phone calls as the customer states, but it should be mentioned that ** wiretapping law states that all parties must consent to being recorded during a phone call, so any recorded conversations without expressed consent are illegal and inadmissible as any form of evidence.  If at any point during or after this transaction there are miscommunication between our dealership and the customer, we do apologize for that, but this customer has taken what we consider to be the "low road" in getting their issues resolved by posting negative reviews about our dealership across various online websites and now by filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. We do value all of our customers and would still consider offering the $500 goodwill payment to them, but only under the condition that they redact or edit the reviews that they have posted and close this and any other complaints that they may have filed. Feretti Motors

Hello,We did everything exactly as promised in regards to canceling this purchase and reversing the bank wire.  Our bank made an error when entering the transaction and that caused an extra delay of about 48 hours.  I have...

confirmed that the wire has already been reversed and we have done our part in solving this issue.  It is not our fault in any way that the bank made an error, if the customer would like to start a Revdex.com complaint against [redacted], they are more than welcome to.  We have an agreement with the customer that they would close any open complains with the Revdex.com or any other agency, and we now expect them to do so since this matter is closed. Thanks,DavidFeretti Motors

To whom it may concern,     Feretti Motors did sell a vehicle to [redacted] and there has been an unintentional delay in providing the title for said vehicle to [redacted].  Feretti Motors has always been in possession of the title for said vehicle and never sells any...

vehicle without owning the titles for them.  The title for said vehicle was previously a NJ title and a PA dealer cannot reassign a NJ title to a customer, therefore a PA dealer must first transfer the NJ title into a PA title which can then be properly reassigned to the purchasing customer.  Unfortunately due to a clerical error, there was a mistake in the processing of the title into a PA title which necessitated us in re-submitting the title and caused a delay in providing the title to our customer in a timely fashion.  As [redacted] had said, he did purchase 2 vehicles from us within a time span of less than 2 months.  The title to the first vehicle was sent to him within 10 days of receiving payment and it was never our intention to delay the title for the 2nd vehicle, but mistakes do happen and I feel he somewhat over-reacting to this minor delay.  The title should be in his possession in about 10 days.  I do understand this is an inconvenience for our customer, but I do not think this would represent any kind of material damage to him.  I feel there is no further response needed by our company other than to provide [redacted] with the title as soon as possible, which as stated should be about 10 days from now. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks,David C[redacted]Feretti Moitors

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
How can you even say that I am "over-reacting to this minor delay" or
that you "do not think this would represent any kind of material damage to
him" on this matter when I have been UNABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE IN THE
LAST 4 DAY?
I have had
to rent a car because your agent Ross has BLAINTLY IGNORED my reasonable
request for a temporary tag that is visible/viewable. Ross sent me a cellphone picture message
of a Temp Tag and Registration that I COULD NOT even print out on an 8.5 x 11
sheet of paper. It was completely
unreadable. Even after I communicated this problem with him, he still IGNORED
my request to scan and email me the temporary tags. My $37,500 car has been
unable to move because it isn't road worthy. How can you even begin to speak to
what damage I have suffered?
A
reasonable establishment should have known that their responsibility is to
COMMUNICATE and RECTIFY any issues that could be problematic for the customer.
Your so-called Clerical Error is not my fault. However, I am the one that ended
up paying for a rental car because of it.
A
reasonable establishment should have had a temporary tag in the mail for me at
least 1 week
to the expiration of the last one you people issued.
A
reasonable establishment should have communicated this clerical error to the
customer. Please - explain to me why I am I the one making all the phone calls
and suffering hardship over this? Why?
Just so,
you know, this issue is not over.
Like I
said, all Feretti Motors cares about is to FIRST get your money. You can go to
hell after that.

The story as told by [redacted] is not exactly correct.  He did purchase this vehicle from us, but did not notify us of all these issues in the first week of ownership.  During the first week he notified us that the driver side mirror turn signal and power fold feature were not...

functioning properly.  We agreed to pay for the needed repairs to correct this issue.  After [redacted] had the repair performed, we sent him a check for the full amount of the repair.  It was not until 2 weeks later that he wrote back to us and told us that the vehicle was idling rough and he needed to have it checked out.  The vehicle was not idling rough when it was purchased and we never agreed on a reimbursement for the repairs needed, which turned out to be a leak in a vacuum line.  Then, nearly 6 weeks after the purchase, he wrote back again stating that the windshield washer fluid pump was not working.  This vehicle was inspected by our shop and also inspected by [redacted] when he came in to purchase it.  It is a Reconstructed vehicle that was sold as-is with no written or implied warranties of any kind.  We chose to cover the cost of the side view mirror repair as a gesture of good will and because [redacted] notified us of the issue within the first week of ownership.  We have never been notified about any issues with the power running boards and we don't know where the $1,300 number is coming from as the repairs that we are aware of totaled under $700.  The vehicle purchased was over 2 years old and had over 37,000 miles on it, we feel that some minor maintenance and repair work should be expected on any used car of that age and mileage.  If [redacted] would still like our help with repairing any issues with the vehicle that have not yet been corrected, we would be more than happy to correct them in our service center at a discounted cost to him, otherwise we feel that this matter is closed.

 Complaint: 10877992
I am rejecting this response because: I just received a paperwork from PENN DOT and it says my application can't be submitted since feretti motors didn't pay for the title tranfer fee.
I sent them my personal check.
It feels like you guys are doing this for the first time.

There was a delay in the title for this vehicle being processed due to a clerical error on the previous state's title.
We have corrected this error and the title is being sent up for processing by PennDOT tomorrow.
We have been in contact...

with the customer and have resolved this complaint.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Review: I purchased a 2006 Dodge Charger RT from this company. I was assured by the salesperson that it was in working order and had undergone service in their facility to "check out" the condition of the vehicle. As according to their website: "All vehicles are thoroughly inspected by our ASE Certified Technicians to ensure our customers receive the highest quality vehicle possible." I had the option of transporting the vehicle to my residence or going and picking up the vechile there. We came to the agreement to ship it to me. After receiving the car, (approximately 7 days later.) I proceeded to use the vehicle. Within the first 200 miles, bacically the first tankful of gas, of driving it, it desplayed transmission problems. I took it to a local shop owned by a retired Dodge Senior Engineer/Developer and the problem was identified as a pre-exiting condition. He was very familiar with this transmission as he designed and developed it. A condition that had been there for quite some time....it could not have just happened in the last 200 miles of being driven. I had it fixed and paid for out of my pocket. I presented the receipts and repair assesment of this problem to my salesperson and she said she would discuss it with "The Boss", and since it was the holidays, to wait until he returned and she could speak with him. I waited and waited. No response, I called today and spoke with [redacted], who identified himself as the manager. He refused to assist me with the problem citing the length of time that I had the vehicle before the problem arose.(2 Weeks) I stated that if I had gone to [redacted] to pick up and drive the vehicle back home to [redacted], this would have happened during the drive home the first day. He cited he would have been obligated to help me then. But again since I had it for the 2 weeks he was under no obligation to help me. Vehicle purchase on 11/05/2012, delivered on 11/13/2012 @ 9pm. Vehicle sat unused until my return from Thanksgiving visit in [redacted] on 11/25/2012. I used the car approximately 7 times befor the problem was encountered.Desired Settlement: Pay $550.00 for the repair of the then existing problem that should have been fixed prior to this vehicle being placed for sale according to their disclosures of vehicle condition and company website. In additon the [redacted]s statement that if it had happened on the drive home from picking it up that they would have covered it. Which it would happened if I had driven it home from their facility instead of having it delivered.

Response:

This is a response to a complaint that was filed

with your offices by [redacted] in regards to a 2006 Dodge

Charger, which he purchased from our business. We do understand the

issues that occurred with the vehicle but feel that correction of

them was not the responsibility of our dealership. [redacted]

indicated to us that the issue occurred within 200 miles of driving

the vehicle. We sold this vehicle as-is and while we did drive it

ourselves to try to make sure that it left our dealership in good

condition and with no known defects, it is unreasonable to ask us to

drive nearly 200 miles on a vehicle to make an unforeseen issue

become evident. Also It is my understanding that [redacted]

indicated that this problem is actually a common issue, and that

Dodge has issues a recall on it but would not honor this recall

because this vehicle has a branded title. It is my opinion that [redacted] should be sending the Revdex.com a complaint against Dodge for not

covering this issue under the recall since the vehicles history does

not have anything to do with the recall of this particular component.

At this time it is our position that no further action be taken from

our side in this matter.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: Their Sales manager stated that they have in the past fixed vehicles that have broken down after the sales. The case in point was that an individual purchased a car and started to drive home and encountered a problem. Broken motor mount. The dealership took care of that customer because he had not made it home with the car. My case is, if I had gone to the dealership and taken possesion of my car and started my drive home to [redacted], the car would have broken down during that drive, less than 200 miles into the trip. I would not have made it back and would have encountered considerably more expenses had I done this. I would have expeceted the dealership to hellp with the problem and correct it so I could at least make it home. Their manager said yes, if that would have been the case, they would have helped me. I feel that they should stand by their product as they claim to in their ads. In addition, the "recall" they spoke of, as I explained to them, was NOT a recall but a service bulletin. A bulletin they should have check to ensure that was done on their "servicing prior to the sale." I am not a satisfied customer and their helping with this problem would be appreciated and would satisfy me.
