Dear ***:We apologize that you had some communication issues Please note that the package you selected has a 5-business day processing time and your order was processed within that time span With regards to the phone communications, on occasion our customer service gets busy over the phones and we have our callers leave a message with our answering service We have looked into calls received from your number and do not have any messages from your number We will also follwit a phone call to address any additional concerns that you have In the future, we suggest that if you cannot reach one of our representatives over the phone, please leave a message or follwith an e-mail

Dear ***:To summarize our conversation, there was a communication issue back in January regarding two of your three orders. We did not dispute that and as a result we issued you a full refund and re-prepared the applications that we prepared for you in January at no charge. This was
done within an hour of discussing the issue with you and your husband. As we explained over the phone, the best we can do is to redo all the work for you at no charge while giving you a refund and we did exactly what you requested at that time. As long as you completed the instructions that we sent to you yesterday and you received your trademark serial number, your applications are filed with the ***. If you have any questions regarding the filing, please call us or e-mail us so that we can answer those questions for you. Again, we apologize for the communication problem that you had and we wish you the best of luck with your trademarks and business.LegalSherpa

The business did finally file my trademark...however they did not do it in the time they stated. Attached is an email that they sent to me that clearly states that the job would be processed between 3-5 business days. Not 5-10 as they mentioned in their response.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: As stated in my complaint, you have reiterated the information given. I've already completed all of the paperwork and submitted it. I have asked for a written apology from your company as well as [redacted] not to be received through email. You have my address on file. The sexist customer service and absolute rudeness I received from [redacted] is what caused my business partner to take over the call. I will not be satisfied until this company accepts their inadequate customer service and the fact that communication issues fell on their end especially when I emailed proof during the phone call and continued to be blamed. Your lack of email is not my fault.

Review: After calling Legal Sherpa and leaving messages four different times, filing disuptes with [redacted] and leaving information on their contact form about their lack of any progress on two of my trademarks filed on January [redacted], I was finally contacted by [redacted].When talking to [redacted] he made several rude and accusatory remarks against me not completing or responding to things. As a business woman for several years I have learned to SAVE every email and I was able to pull each of those up. At once point I even forwarded one response to him as he said he didn't have it from January [redacted]. I followed up to ask why they didn't have a customer service step in place to follow up after a certain time due to the fact that their email system/server was the cause for this one issue. He went on to say that it is the customer's responsibility to follow up. Again I told him I had and hadn't been responded to.After quite some time and him refusing to refund my fees paid my business partner took over the phone call as I was quite shaken. My business partner is a male and the responses that I had previous been given were totally different with him on the phone. Quickly he gave in to a refund and processing the trademarks for free (minus the Government fees). I feel that not only does Legal Sherpa need an overhaul in their business practices but also needs to have a course in sexism in the work place.Desired Settlement: At this time a refund for both trademarks has been given but it is more than the money. I am out two months of time while waiting on trademarks where Legal Sherpa dropped the ball. [redacted] did "research" to see if the trademarks were taken and said they weren't. There is no way to tell if they are in process.I also would like a complete written apology (not email) from Legal Sherpa AND [redacted] himself.

Review: I have called to check the status of service I ordered from this company, but no one had answered the call. To be honest, when I call it seems as though it's a recording. I paid over $100 for a company trademark package.Desired Settlement: I'd like to either confirm with the company that I will be granted what I paid for, or my money back, no exceptions.

Review: I requested trademark services and paid $69 to initiate a trademark on a new business. I paid the amount and heard nothing from this company. When I sent a request for contact and possible refund I was ignored and have sent a second request with no results as of yet. I no longer needed the companies service and was requesting a cancellation and refund within a few days of the original request. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee they show on the website but do not stand behind it.Desired Settlement: I would just like my money back and no longer do business with this organization.
