Filo Mortgage

I would highly recommend Filo Mortgage. I recently refinanced through Filo after shopping around I found they offered the lowest rate, not to mention fantastic service, responsiveness, and turn around time.

Simply put, Tia at Filo Mortgage is awesome. My refinance process was fast (less than 2 weeks) and simple. Tia was tenacious and worked diligently, day and night, to ensure the refinance process moved swiftly, in a controlled manner and all the while answered any question I threw at her. I will use Filo again because of Tia and highly recommend their services.

This is same review for Robin B. On 06/09/20. There was a computer glitch or human error putting 3 stars, it was meant to be 5 stars!!!. Tia and Filo deserve way more than 5 stars!!
My 30 year loan was closed in 15 days, hassel free. She got me a fabulous rate of 2.9, saving me hundreds of dollars! I'm recommending Tia Saad and Filo Mortgage to all family and friends!

My wife and I have worked with Tia on three separate occasions in the last 4 years and her professionalism and friendly demeanor is unmatched. Due to current low interest rates available at this time we knew it was time to find Tia and complete a refi. During our initial call in March 2020 she advised us to wait as she thought correctly that rates would continue to drop. She ended up contacting us on May 23, 2020 and was able to complete the entire loan application to closing process in 3 weeks. In addition, the weekend before closing, she called us on a Sunday night expressing concern that she hadn't heard from us and was inquiring if we had any questions. My wife and I were on the porch enjoying the weather and we spent 20 minutes chatting with Tia and finalizing the loan figures. This is the personal touch you just don't expect from busy professionals. In addition, the day our loan closed, our current lender debited our checking account for the June mortgage payment. I emailed Tia the following day and without prompt, she arranged a conference call with our lender and arranged for our checking account to be credited our June payment. Tia is the ultimate professional and if possible I would provide a 10 star rating. We can't thank her enough and will forward her name and number to any of our friends/associates looking to refi. I had never heard of Filo Mortgage before so I was naturally skeptical. After reviewing their reviews and low rates my wife and I decided to move forward with them. I can say that I am amazed at how easy the process was. We closed in less than 2 weeks and our rate was the best I'd ever seen.

Jeff and his team were incredibly professional and caring from start to finish. They provided me the lowest rate based on my research and were diligent with following up on my questions. At each step in the process the Filo team explained the documents to me in great detail. Plus the online process was super smooth with the paperwork processed electronically. Highly recommend.

The refinance process was super fast with Filo Mortgage. I submitted my application in early June and have already closed! Filo offered me the best interest rate without any points among all the lender that I spoke with, which is why I went with them. I'm very glad I did. I have recommended Filo to everyone lol and will use them for my mortgage needs in the future. Thank you for a great experience all around.

FILO Mortgage engaged in practices that goes against the law in my opinion. First they sent me initial rate estimate document which I signed, then they sent me a different loan estimate document the next day which increased the interest rate. They then sent me initial closing documents 24hrs before the rate lock expired and asked me to sign and backdate it. When I refused because I wanted 3 days to review the closing documents (which I should be given by law), they sent me a different closing document with $5,500 fees added. The CEO himself wrote me asking me to sign and backdate that document also. There is something fishy about FILO Mortgage for sure as a friend had a terrible experience with them also. A notary showed up to his house to have him sign closing documents and wire funds. But he was contacted by his bank the next day that the funds that he wired was suspicious due to the instructions of the wire and details. He has been trying to reach everyone he worked with at FILO since and no one will return his calls and even text messages, whereas leading up to the date the notary showed up everyone was open to responding to him quickly and even texting him out of office hours. I highly recommend that Revdex.com look into FILO Mortgage.

Hands down, Tia S and Filo Mortgage are the real deal. Tia is the best in the business- she’s very knowledgeable and super down to earth. She offered us the lowest rate at zero fees and she delivered on everything she said she would. And she closed our loan in 6 business days! We’ve referred 4 of our friends/family to her, know they are in the best hands! Thank you Tia and Filo!

I researched many companies before refinancing my loan. I had never heard of Filo but saw them online and then checked the Revdex.com. Their reviews on Lending Tree were flawless so that helped make me feel comfortable using them. Their rates were incredibly low compared to everyone else and they didn't charge me any loan fees which was an added bonus. We closed super quick and everyone I worked with was pleasant. I'm so glad we chose Filo!

Filo was unhelpful and unresponsive. They would allow days or weeks to go by yet still ignore my inquiries. They asked me to risk my job--the very employment they were trying to "verify"--by asking me to violate my company's policy regarding third party loan verifications just to get their extreme documentation.

Similar to many homeowners, I wanted to refinance given the drop in interest rates. Filo Mortgage offered the lowest interest rate with no origination fees and was very easy to work with. They went above and beyond to answer all my questions and guide me through the process. I highly recommend!

I really can't say enough good things about Van, Gabby and Filo Mortgage. Filo offered me the lowest 30 YR rate among the lenders I spoke to (3.125% yay). The loan process was much easier than I can remember too. I've recommended Filo Mortgage to my friends and work colleagues.
