Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I do not believe that "Financial Corporation of America" is a valid "United States" corporation, the reviews on the internet show that they are a foreign company and do not follow United States laws, and should be investigated by the Justice Dept. I will "only" accept "NO FURTHER CONTACT" from these people

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: It is not justifiable to send my bill to collection and affect my creditI have been paying my bill regularlyHow can you have a policy that affects my credit knowing good and well that I have been paying my bill? That policy is unethical practice for the middle class citizens that try to keep up with all their bills? I bet that there are people that do not even bother to pay their medical billsI am making a clear effort to pay off my bill and yet sending my bill to collections and creating bad credit makes better sense to you and your company.

Tell Financial Corporation of AmericaResponse to Complaint *** Financial Corporation of America is in receipt of the above referenced complaint from *** ***. Following an investigation into the matter, FCOA provides the following response: On 1//10/FCOA was
assigned an account by their client, Pediatrix Medical Group in the amount of $916.00. On 2/3/17, the guarantor on the account called and requested an itemized bill which was then sent to her on 2/14/17. On 4/5/17, Mr*** called FCOA stating that the itemized bill which was received was not sufficient for his needs since it did not contain medical procedure codesFCOA requested the document from the client and on 4/14/another itemized bill was sent to the consumer. On 5/8/17, Mr*** called to state that he was disputing charges on the bill because the doctor saw his infant for minutes and was charging him over $600. He said that the bill did not tell him what the doctor did in those minutes and he wanted more details. FCOA then requested medical coding from the client which was forwarded to the consumer on 5/16/17. On 8/31/a call was received from Mr*** offering to settle the account for $400. The representative told him that our client’s policy was to not accept anything less than 50% of the outstanding balanceDuring this call Mr*** asked the representative if she would pay the account balance in full if it would affect her credit report. The representative stated that she would do so despite the dispute of the amount and Mr*** stated that he would not do so. He then asked for a supervisor but the call dropped during the transfer. When Mr*** called back he spoke to another representative and stated that he wished to settle the account for $and if that settlement was not accepted FCOA should cease and desist collection activity. The representative placed the call on hold to research the dispute and when she returned the consumer had terminated the call. She attempted to call him back but he did not pick up the phoneNo other calls were made to the consumer and the only correspondence sent to him after his Cease & Desist request was a letter sent to advise him of the client’s response to his dispute. Resolution: The account has been cancelled and returned to the client. Should anything further be required, please do not hesitate to contact usus why here

Our recordings indicate that you have received two different accounts with our office. One for physician's charges which you have paid and the other pending balance for the hospital charges. An itemized bill request was received from you and the bill was mailed 10/8/14. Based on
the request of this complaint another itemized bill has been mailed to you as of 12/04/14. We hope that by the date of this response you have received that correspondence for review

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
I will be looking for the letter and if it is the same offer that was orgoffered to us which was 50% of the amount due then I will pay it. It sounds like we did get some employees that didn't know what was going on but each one told me they spoke to a supervisor or manager and put me on hold. They came back and advised they could not do it. I am glad they have counseled their staff and trained them on how to handle in the future. .I will be looking for the letter from then in the next few days.

Financial Corporation of America (FCOA) has received and reviewed the concern. The original creditor turned the account to our office for collections based on the age of your account. FCOA is receiving your monthly payments. As the monthly payments are minimal and do not meet a
timely payout the original creditor moved the account in their a/r as standard procedure

Financial Corporation of America received your request for validation on 12/17/15, at which time we flagged your accounts as disputed and requested the required documentation from the original creditor. Our records from the original creditor indicate that this is not duplicate billing.
The records indicate that you incurred to different dates of service, 2/1/and 2/6/2012. Based on your Revdex.com request to cease and desist we are returning your two accounts back to the original creditor

Your complaint has been received and reviewed. The research had been submitted to the original creditor for review. After they completed the review an adjustment was posted to your account, resulting in a zero balance. The balance was removed from your credit reporting file
