I had a fender bender, that was a hit and run on my vehicleI filed the claim the very next dayNot only did they consider my car a "total loss," from a fender benderIt took them almost months for me to receive my settlement checkI would go weeks without hearing from anyone after leaving numerous voice mails; half the time their voicemail was fullI would not recommend this insurance for anythingThey seem to be unorganized and do not care about their customers

I got into a car accident on July 4th, and at first the insurance company seemed like they were all for the customer and that it would be no problem getting the car fixedOnce my car got towed to the body shop and the shop determined that my car was not worth fixing it took the insurance company a week and a half to get out to the body shop to write it off as a total lossThen took an additional four days to get my car out of the shopI was working with *** at phone # XXX-XXX-XXXX to get details on what was going to happen with my car and what was the process of getting a check sent out for the carHe would never return my calls or answer my questions that I would leave on his voicemailsI then would turn to the customer service representatives and it was like they had no idea what to doThey would never read back on the previous notesThey only thing they were able to help me with was to transfer me the agent I was working withThat was very unhelpful because I had their direct line, I didn't need someone else to transfer me ,I needed the right helpThey would also send me to ***'s manager which was also no help because they never ONCE returned my phone calls Finally I received a call back from *** stating that they were going to be sending me out a check and that it shouldn't take longer than a week for my finance company to receive itBy this time it was already the end of August Were not in the middle of September and my finance company has still yet to receive any type of payment from Acceptance insuranceI then got told I had to work with *** in the total loss department at phone number XXX-XXX-XXXX to sign off on some paperwork which took two weeks to receive because for some reason "it kept getting loss in the mail" every time they would "send" the paperwork outIt took three copies for me to finally receive the paperworkOn top of this I have GAP insurance to cover whatever loss my insurance company does not cover when my car is being totaledThe GAP insurance has requested three forms of paperwork from acceptance: ( the insurance evaluation, cause of loss letter which states that there was no police report made, cause of loss, and date of loss, and the settlement statement) I was able to receive two forms of documents from Ester and then she advised me that I would have to work with *** to get a cause of loss letterI'm not sure who this man is due to never having to work with him once in my entire claim processI have been calling him for seven days straight and have been leaving him messages and I still have not received one phone call back from himI call customer service and tell them whats going on and they tell me that he is in the office and that they will transfer meAgain, that is no help because I have his direct lineI then tell them that I would like to speak with his managerThey provide me the name of *** *** at ext: XXXXXI have also been leaving him messages and also tired sending him an email stating that all I need is a cause of loss letter and I will be able to close this accident out but still I have yet to hear back from anyoneIt should not take three months to close out an accident

You should be Ashamed of Yourselves as an insurance company!!!!! A drunk driver that you insure took away everything that my daughter worked so hard to get In a matter of minutes, life changes But it didn't end there.....First Acceptance never returned any phone calls, emails, faxed, or text This company is so unprofessional Andrew Johnson , I don't know HOW you still have a job??????

My car was hit by a driver with Acceptance Insurance months ago, and still have not been able to get my car fixed because of their spectacular levels of incompetenceI have never spoken to the adjuster assigned to my claim - Emilia Gamino - and have not actually spoken to the same person twice, or spoken to anyone who can solve anythingI was told they use a third-party service to collect photos of damage; the third party service never contacted meWhen I contacted them they hadn't received my claim numberCustomer service was incredibly rude to me when I tried to find out what was going onNo one returns my callsAnyone who is thinking about using them for their insurance should run far, far away

I signed up on this policy on 8/12/changing from *** I gave them my vin# stating to them I lease my car an I will need full coverage insurance I broke down my whole plan I had with *** and my monthly payments with *** was per month after going over on the recorded line of the coverage I wanted I went online to review quote set up it stated down payment of and monthly payments of for full coverage property damage personal injury protection comprehensive and collision of deductible I didn't sign the documents but it shows that they were signed this is fraud I got into an accident on 8/17/an I was stated to be at fault first acceptance is stating they will not pay any damages to my car or the other party that was involved stating I signed documents I did not sign I reviews over the policy correctly an I signed ONLY bodily injury as well at comprehensive and collision with my pip they have not gave me the correct documents they stated I signed it and there's nothing they can do and in stuck with a dollar bill do to this matter I have tried solving this matter but theres nothing first acceptance has done to solve this matter they have not review any recorded call or even tried to solve any of the other parties charges this has been the worst insurance company I have ever had in my life my car still damaged and in getting letter from the other parties insurance company stating I owe treating to take my license for a document I did not sign I have called acceptance I can't get in touch with the corporate office every time I call the hold time is a tominutes no one is trying to help me regarding this matter I will take legal action if needed if this matter is not solved in professional matter

I don't even understand how a business like this is legitJust like every single one of these reviews and complaints they like to give the run aroundIt almost seems like they train their employees to all do the same! I was involved in an accident with someone that was insured by Acceptance Insurance and it has been over month without any resolutionI have to constantly hunt down my adjuster just to get some answers and even with that I get the simple " I will find out and call you back " Never gets a call backAccident happened back in Feb and til today we still haven't resolved it yet and it does not seem like they are putting in the effort to resolve it as wellHopefully this will get them to move a bit fast if not I will have to take other routes such as file a complaint with the department of insurance, my attorney and go to the media with this because this isn't how a business should be conducted

This insurance company is a total sham! From the customer service down to the wait timeHad this insurance over years always paid my bill when received and sometimes recieved a call before the the due dateOn August ,my car hitSince the accident I have NOT been able to speak to anyone with any answers as the local agent now has NO CLIE or any control over anything now that a claim has been filed! Changing to Acceptance Insurance has been the worst decision that we have ever madeThey lack all forms of customer service edict, everyone from the "agents-who can't even file a claim for a customer in the office" to the "supervisors" at their call center- who have no care in hearing the customers view on there claim issuesThere claim process is HORRIBLE!! Yes there quotes are good but the lack of customer service will definitely run you off!!

I got quote on my Insurance of $and got my first bill and it said $WHICH IS MORE THEN MY CAR NOTE! I called them and just decided to cancel...it's been almost two months and though I have called a few times in which one of the women always tells me they will call back...well guess what?! I will like to file a complaint about my experience with [redacted] Tel: (XXX) XXX-XXXX. We had been calling her for over a month now and had called her atleast 25 times and leaving voice messages in all those times since she had our car pick up on 09/0213 due to flood damage. We don't know where our car is and the status of our vehicle and she is still hadn't call us back. My claim number is XXXXXXXXX

My car was hit by someone with Acceptance Insurance. After jumping through many hoops to get someone on the phone to report the claim, I was finally referred to an Acceptance adjuster who I was told would call me within 24 hours. After a week, I finally got a call back only to be told that Christian B[redacted] was not my adjuster, instead I should call Walter D[redacted]. I have been trying to reach D[redacted] for a week. No replies, no answer, nothing. What the hell?! What kind of lousy company is this? Never in my life have I had such a poor response (no response!) from an insurance company. Is this their business strategy to avoid paying claims??? Finally, I decided to look online to see what customer reviews exist for Acceptance. That's when I found this site, and guess what? No reviews are positive for Acceptance. In fact, on the Internet I have found hundreds of poor reviews for this company!

DO NOT TRUST THIS INSURANCE COMPANY. I was coming up to a renewal and was called and asked if I wanted to renew. I declined and let them know I would be switching to [redacted] since they offer better coverage for less money so I did not wish to renew. BEFORE MY PAYMENT WAS DUE. Their customer service person said "okay thank you" and hung up on me! A few days later I see I WAS CHARGED ANYWAY. When I call them to get it situated I was told "He should have handled that better" and was told it would take 8-10 days to get my money back and they refused to let me speak with a manager or supervisor. That is outrageous and horrible customer service and I am so very angry with how poorly I have been treated. DO NOT go to the branch on 27th ave and 200. This is where I was scammed and ripped off. After many many years with this company I will NEVER return.

This was my first accident, so I really didn't know how the process worked, but they were somewhat helpful. My only problem was that you never get an answer when you call and you rarely get call backs and I don't understand why the mail seems to take so long for them. It took 2 weeks for me to receive my total loss paper work and another 2 weeks for them to receive it back. My payment was suppose to have been issued on 12/15/15 but I have yet to receive that in the mail. Overall my experience wasn't so bad, just hoping I'll one-day receive the payment.

This company has the worst customer service. A representative had answered my call but he seemed to be unprepared to any calls at all. It sounding like he was cupping the phone for maybe two minutes or so. I heard a conversation that went on as I patiently waited. Then I heard laughter in the background and that is when my patience dissapeared. Finally he was ready to talk so I asked him if this call is being recorded because I told him this is not what customer service is about. He hung up on me.

I'm with a dealership. I called the claims line working on getting info on a customer that was in an accident in one of our cars. I was basically calling to verify the paper work was turned in on the recent accident. The rep I talked to was actually really rude, he said there where 12 files he would have to look through to find the one I was looking for because I didn't have the date of the accident. I asked him if he could look through them, it should be the most recent. He says "excuse me?" I asked again could he please look through them. He tells me okay, I hold for 10 minutes and at 6pm when they close he hangs up on me and I call back and cant reach any one! I was on hold 15 minutes prior to that call with them earlier that day and was sent to a voicemail.....still no return call. I'm very happy I don't have insurance with them, really would hate to be in a accident and cant get any info or respect!

This is the worse insurance company I have ever dealt wirh. One of their customers hit my parked car. A car that was in my driveway. No big deal simple open shut cases. Its been 6 weeks and they are just now going to fix my car. Meanwhile they gave me a rental voucher for 4 days. [redacted]? Everytime I need to talk to the claim adjuster I have to call nonstop for days. She has already blocked the body shops email. Who does that?

This would be the last company I would recommend to anyone ever using. I personally do not use this company but was involved in an auto accident with one of their claim holders on 02/05/16. My car was deemed totaled on 02/15/16. I am currently on my 3rd adjuster that they have transferred me to. It is next to impossible to get into contact with anyone there who wants to actually do their job. I still have not even received the offer on my car and it is now 02/24/2016. If you're looking for insurance I can guarantee this IS NOT the company you should use. Also, pray you're never involved in an accident with any of their policy holders!

Claim # XXXXXXXX. July 22, 2015. I was rear ended on July 3, 2015 by a First Acceptance Ins Co client. It was witnessed by a policeman & the driver was given a ticket for reckless driving. Progressive Ins Co fixed my car, no problem at all. My van is a 2015 only 2 months old. I have a $1000.00 deductible with Progressive. My van has about $2500.00 diminished value. I had to pay my $1000.00 deductible plus rent another van for a week For $366.35.
Each time I call the claim agents number it goes to voice mail. I have called many times and have never spoken to her. About 10 days ago I finally reached a person named [redacted]. She assured me a supervisor would get in touch with me immediately. I have not been contacted by anyone from First Acceptance concerning the claim at any time.
