First Choice Assets LLC Reviews (36)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have no received a card to pay off this balance. I still have no access to this account. I provided my updated address and I've received the documents. I believe that this an attempt to keep me paying money for interest on an account that I have no access to. This is not fair. Covering a late for your failed attempt to provide me with a card to pay off the balance is not my fault. To call in and make a payment I'm going to charged for. My payment came from my bank on a delay because I was told is get the card instead I've gotten the bill and I've got a written response. I have no intention on using the card but it's beneficial for the use of paying off this balance.

[redacted], I have
listened to the call recording, There
was no mention of "Package" but rather a letter/document that needed
to be sent and to verify the address to confirm its delivery. The agent was very clear on the law in regards to Out of Statute laws. We can continue to collect on out of statute accounts, but we cannot legally enforce a consumer to pay. We had 2 conversations on 3/16/16 with Ms. [redacted] as this was the only day we had contact with her, she requested no more calls and was not going to pay and the account was placed in
"cease" at that time. We
have removed the phone number for Ms. [redacted] and placed on our internal
"do not  call" list and have closed and returned the account to our client. We strive to always be in compliance with the law and work diligently to ensure our agency makes every attempt to resolve any and all

listened to all the call recordings, we were calling to recover a declined credit card from the payment arrangements that were set up. We were not contacted or informed that there were any issues with Mr. [redacted] honoring his arrangement. apologize for any inconvenience
as it is our policy to confirm location information (Home Phone, Home Address and Place of employment) per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). We utilize skip tracing, but have found incorrect information that has been provided many
times for consumers. It is for this
reason that we do not disclose information to anyone and request location information to accurately locate a
consumer, such as yourself to help them resolve their  outstanding obligations. We have closed and returned your

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. There was NO misunderstanding or several calls to be listened to. I called the agency twice, the lady I spoke with may have been following the standard procedures. However, the male that I spoke with was not. He totally refused to send me the bill unless I secured a payment with him. I'd like to hear the call myself. I know what I heard and trust me, there was not a misunderstanding. Regards, [redacted]

attached the phone reports for the phone number in question. As you can see there were not several
calls a day, there were 4 calls
total on different days. The 1_1B on Jan. 12 was an inbound call where the caller hung up upon transfer. In regards to the nasty and sarcastic agent; As I listened to the call recording it started out with
Mrs. [redacted] screaming and using obscenities to remove her number. The agent was caught off guard and was requesting the phone number to remove and Mrs. [redacted] would not provide and then finally did. The agent was counseled and discussed that he should of transferred Mrs. [redacted] to myself or a Manager. The number was removed and we apologize for any inconvienience. I will like this to be further investigated, as I have no dept that I owe to [redacted] Hospital, as this may also be investigated, and so therefore will show that the answer they gave is (not true) as well, thus warrants further investigations, as I was not the first person to complain against this same happening.

there was a misunderstanding between both parties. Mr. [redacted] the manager at First Choice Assets also reached out to Ms. [redacted] and explained the misunderstanding. In regards to the questions that were asked of Ms. [redacted], they are standard questions that are asked to determine if there is away to offer a consumer alternative payment solution to help resolve the outstanding obligation. There were no threats of any kind, as we do not operate in that fashion. We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused and we have closed and returned the account to our client and advised them off the complaint. to the call recordings with Mr. [redacted] and the agent. It seems as there was a lag on the phone line and both could not understand each other. I have counseled the agent to inform the consumer that we will call back to avoid this issue in the future. This company continued to still contact my mother (family) twice and even left a voicemail the day after the calls originated! That's completely violating what I stated to them when I contacted them directly which was: I would rather be contacted by MAIL not harassed by phone! And my family shouldn't be harassed either despite what they're stating about having to verify location. I've lived at the same address for 26 years of my life. My address has never changed and there are other methods to confirm/verify my address or "location" like NYS data base, my license, my mail, etc. This is completely violating my rights and I am well aware of the fine their company would have to pay ME for continues harassment and violation and I am going to pursue it. I will not accept the company's response until they COMPLETELY STOP contacting any of my family members cell phone! Thank you [redacted] for your assistance in this matter. I am truly appreciative and grateful.
Regards,
