I ordered a spotted salamander to be overnighted. I didn't hear anything for a long time and then got an email that the critter would be shipped. Three weeks had gone by. You would think they would call to see if the shipping date would be o.k. for you. Anyways, my little critter was DOA. He was not overnighted. He was sent Fedex two day instead with nothing to keep him cool. He was in a plastic container with a few holes punched but wrapped in newspaper and fit tightly into the styrofoam box. I requested a full refund. Still waiting on that. I filed a complaint with Paypal since I had paid through that. Next step is escalating the claim with Paypal and contacting Attorney general's office in Florida. I would not subject another critter to that treatment. Little salamander never had a chance.
