First Fidelity Services Reviews (41)

We submitted our loan consolidation information with this company in May They have been taking out payments since then, but none of our loans have been consolidated and the loans still want payments!
We have called several times, but they keep saying that it will take a couple more weeks It seems like this is an agency that gets paid to recruit people to consolidate their loans, not to consolidate them They are just recruiters
This entire company seems like a scam because they are taking our money, yet none of our student loan companies have heard from them even weeks later! So we are having to pay on our loans & pay this company This is not good business!

I get calls from this place DAILY from area coded (south dakota) for student loans that I do not have, I have blocked their number, and they just use another, spoken to the people who call and asked to be removed from their calling list Was told I must have done some survey or got an iphone etcreally?
worst spammer I have ever dealt with

John was very personableHe is an exemplary member of your staffhe answered all my questions clearly so I was able to understand the processIf I could grade him I would give him a 100%

After getting my wages garnished for months the garnishment was just liftedProcess took months to complete but John and Ashley really helped me through thisI couldn't be happierThank you both

Initial Consultation for First Fidelity Services is very informative and positiveDefinately worth it I have several student loansAnd they make it easy to consolidate

I was contacted over the phone my a member of First Fidelity claiming that if I reconsolidated my student loans my payments would be a little higher but I would be paying more towards principal and I could pay my loans off fasterShe stated that they worked along side *** which is my loan providerShe then stated that the first months would be higher due to their policyMy payment for the first months would be $a month from my checking accountI'm on my 4th month and I received an email from my student loan company stating that my account was in forebearance and months past due!! I told her about First Fidelity and she told me that they are nothing more than a scam who ripped me off for more than $and also set me way back on my student loansNot to mention they now have access to my personal checking accountAnd of course I can't get anybody to return my calls or emails!

I have recently began a program with this company during the first phone interview, the guy I had spoken with advised me that my current driven repayment plan was expiring and I would owe around a month which is more than what I make a month so frightened I didn't know what to do they helped me to consolidate but am still waiting for the loans to be consolidated, then today I had a lady call me and she informed me after looking at all my documents that they had not in fact had any thing done with all loans only a few had been processed for any kind of debt reliefSo I then contacted the student loan.gov were they had informed to not make any more payments bc none of the money was going towards the loans and she advised me to contact my loan service rd were they each had informed me that I was already in an repayment plan and did not need to any thing till August when my plan ended nothing from this company has been submitted to any of my loan services I feel completely ripped off and that this company had stolen money from me it is a shame to take advantage or promise one thing and do the complete opposite I want my money back and will be turning this over to the proper authorities

Ashley from the billing department was so kind and understandingShe really took the time to help me understand my student loans and the payments I was makingAshley provided me with stellar customer service

I spoke with *** this evening and felt the same way as the other reviewsThey pushed for banking information giving you little security about their businessShe proceeded to tell me over and over the call is recorded for my protectionShe also stated I can cancel with no penalty if I am dissatisfied with the service by the second paymentI felt rushed to review the documents and she stated she would give me time to review and call me back in ten minutesIt's been twenty and no more ***I hope this consolidation place is really trying to do just that and not take advantage of struggling Americans

The only reason that I decided to give them stars was because they let me out of their payment plan
I have no idea where they got my number They misrepresented themselves as a Fedloan servicing agency, when in fact they aren't at all The service they provide is a free service that Fedloan servicing provides I was new to student loan programs and felt duped for sure Try google earthing their office and you will find it doesn't exist at all
Pretty disappointing and borderline predatory

worst spammer I have ever dealt with

Initial Consultation for First Fidelity Services is very informative and positiveDefinately worth it I have several student loansAnd they make it easy to consolidate

this company contacted me regarding my student loan debt, telling me my wages were going to be garnished unless I consolidated my loansthey collected personal information, like social security number, banking information, wforms, pay stubs and wagestold me that my first payments would be $a month for months then $a month afterwards for the next years and be directly withdrawn from my bank accountall this money was to be put towards the paying off of my student loansbut when I had to contact the government about a issue with a paper filled out incorrectly, I was told I was being scammed by first fidelity services, and that the payments of $would go directly in their pockets and not towards my loansThe government worker also told me to file a Revdex.com complaint and stop payments immediately

So I too got a call about a year ago from this company Kicking myself that it took me this long to realize its a scam I had an initial payment of $taken from my bank account and about $a month there after I thought it was going toward the consolidated loan It was not In fact I found out from FedLoan that it was a fee A fee this company charged me for doing paper work I could have done all on my own Part of the reason I did this consolidation was because the person Chris I spoke to said that if my income did not increase at the end of the second year that I would qualify for loan forgiveness What a load of bull Not after two years More like So I have spent almost $to do paperwork to consolidate my loans and get on a pay as you earn program which was available to me all along for free I finally woke up when I received a letter from FedLoan telling me I had to recertify for my Pay as I Earn program I went online to do this like the letter said but I had an issue with my name not matching what they had because I had gotten married in July So I called them because my due date was approaching and I didn't want any penalties The person I spoke to informed me that this company was basically charging me for paper work I was literally getting from her for free at that momentI felt like such an it $700!!! It could have really went to my loans!!!! So, needless to say I did the paper work myself My recertify was due on December with a day grace period which was up this last Sat I got it in before the ten days was up Today(Jan 8) I get not ONE but TWO emails from this company First email letting me know my recertification is due and she had attached the papers for me to just sign and date HA! the SAME EXACT PAPERS I sent in myself for FREE!!! Second email so called underwriter letting me know my debt consolidation is complete and I would be receiving a bunch of papers UM it was complete a YEAR AGO Screw me once your bad, screw me twice my bad Not this time!! If I had stuck to my own rule of "if I did not initiate the phone call then don't do business" I wouldn't be out $ Oh and had I relied solely on this company my recertify could have cost me a lot of money because IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LATE!!!

I'm glad I didn't fall for this. How Revdex.com could endorse this company is beyond me. The person I talked tried to get my information out of me...social security and bank number. When I questioned him on anything he was rude and told me he send an email with the phone number if I changed my mind. No thank you!!

I spoke with Chad at First Fidelity Services and my experience was less than satisfactory. Initially, Chad was very enjoyable filled with lots of valuable information regarding my student loans. However, he quickly jumped to conclusions that I would be using his services and then requested my bank information. When I told him that I was a bit unsure about giving him that information due to freud and asked if he would send me a letterhead with his proposed student debt forgiveness programs so that I could verify his services, he proceeded to insist that he needed my bank information in order to do that because they (First Fidelity Services) "are not here for you (me, the consumer) shop around." When I explained that I was simply trying to verify his information and if he could not do that then I would look elsewhere, he rudely stated "we won't forgo our policy to meet your needs. We are done here." and hung up on me.

They were very helpful and friendly, they were empathetic to my plight, and walked me through a bunch of Government BS.I look forward to working with them.

Dear Revdex.com,

We spoke with MS. *. and went over her file in full detail. After explaining and answering all her questions Ms. *. has decided to move forward with our company and everything has been resolved.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to respond.

I spoke with [redacted] this evening and felt the same way as the other reviews. They pushed for banking information giving you little security about their business.
