This company is a scam and should be shut downJudging by their F rating and reviews, I can see I am not alone in thatThey keep trying to collect on a debt I never hadIf you do a *** search you can see they are notorious for that tooThey should be shut down and the people that run the company jailed

Got "the letter" from this outfit in the mail It was not I whom they were looking for, so I called them They had my address and name, so I was concerned about what other info they had I spoke to one of the rudest women I've ever encountered on the phone They are a big scam She didn't like it when I refused to give her the last four of my SS number Rotten, rotten people They should be put out of business Don't pay them a nickel!!!

FNCB sent my wife a letter claiming she owed some company about $1, As best as we can tell from the company name indicated on the letter we have never done business with the company they referenced We called FNCB and they would not talk to us unless we gave them my wife's Social Security Number - which we will NEVER do So, they ended the call
This is a huge scam, and this company is a huge scam company If they continue to send letters or harass my wife we will be forced to take legal action

I just got off of the phone with a gentleman by the name of Dereel R[redacted] a representative at the company. He was so helpful not only did he inform me about my total that was less than what I was expecting he was patient as well. Mr. R[redacted] helped me make the decision of making monthly payments so my total amount would not be so hard on my pockets. I was so frustrated after my [redacted] bill was sent to collections and R[redacted] made my day with his wise suggestion and informative info.

This company sent me a letter to settle for half the amount owed the creditor. They mailed me a payment schedule. The next letter said they received the first payment but, please provide your new reference number with next payment. After the BBC told me that their rating is an F (A+ - F), I looked them up and the whole screen lit up bright red. I looked at the reviews and said to myself "DUMB [redacted]", they got me for $100. I feel like getting a cheap flight to Nevada and cursing them out personally !!!!!!!!!. When they steal, they get a sunny vacation in Hawaii. When we steal we get a free all expense paid ride to the joint!

I called to speak to them about a case. Why is it that they have to be rude. They intentionally harass and treat you horrible. I think they do this so you will pay and they will go away. Its TIPICAL PRACTICE OF BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WON'T PUT UP WITH THIS.GONNA GET THIS BEHAVIOR OUT THERE. MR. DON L[redacted] YOU KEEP IN MIND YOU ARE A FLOOR SUPERVISOR SO PLEASE DON'T THINK YOU ARE IN THE SAME CATERGORY AS A CEO!!!! SAYING THAT Why are you so rude and abrupt and make the people seem like they are all stupid? Please check yourself. This company will not succeed like this. Positive manners get you much further! Thats a fact!

The account was a fraud account why do we have to endure this abuse???

I requested a letter of clearance because the credit bureaus are not updated and it is affecting my credit score adversely.I was told last week that a letter had been posted to me [redacted]. Yesterday I was told that an email would go out to me with the letter of clearance. it did NOT.I called again today TWICE and was told that a letter of clearance for this debt would be emailed to me by end of today. IT WAS NOT!Product_Or_Service: N/AOrder_Number: [redacted]Account_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI want my credit report CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY and the letter of clearance sent me by this company to provide the credit bureaus to clear this OFF my credit report as it has been PAID!

This agency practices illegal attempts at collecting debt that has gone beyond the statute of limitations. This is the third time this agency has attempted to collect money from me that I'm not required to pay any longer. All 3 times I have turned them into The Nevada Business Industry and Finance and the issue gets resolved. I'm tired of having to spend the time doing this when I shouldn't have been contacted in the first place. Now it's beginning to feel like harassment. Agencies like this one should be shut down.Desired SettlementFor this company to practice ethical ways of doing business.Business Response Dear Consumer,We received and reviewed your complaint alleging that First National Collection Bureau, Inc. Inadequate and incorrect account information on attempting to collect a debt. I received 2 collection letters dated 7/23/16 and 8/2/16 from this company (First National Collection Bureau, Inc) to pay an old debt that has past the statue of limitation and was also REMOVED from my credit report years ago at least almost 10 years. This is an illegal practice for which offends me and family because of the increase stress level to say the least. The letter is very deceptive because it includes payment coupons. I do not owe [redacted] anything, which this so called "credit agency" is trying to collect. They are telling me I have owed [redacted] $3,962.98. Really? Are they delusional. They are thieves. I would like to take them to court for trying to embezzle money out of me that I do not owe and causing me grief and worry on what I may have bought and not paid for, which at the end of the day I found was fraudulent. Desired SettlementI would assume these so called collection agencies are trying to scare older people in to believingthey owe a debt and not wanting to ruin their credit and because they may have memory issues they pay these ruthless crooks. My parents had impeccable credit their whole lives. My father served in WWII in the [redacted], my mother always worked so hard. In their last ten years of their lives they could not write any checks to the grocery store, any place that checked ID.Someone stole their identity and there was no way they could fix it. My mother said it's okay I can use my debit card. It's not okay.Stop harassing older people, they are sm of the earth these "credit agencies". I have contacted this agency requesting information about this alleged debt that I owe. They can not provide any information as to who is company requesting this debt be paid. I have no knowledge of account and will not pay for something that is not mine. I will not pay unless they can prove it is my account. When I first received notice, it stated to notify them in writing to dispute the validity of this debt, which I did but I received no answer.
