Credit card charges by Fitness for February and Fitness are still being disputed with the credit card companyFitness bought out Fitness Fitness closed on 1/23/without giving any noticeFitness did not disclose anybody of the purchase of Fitness We have charges to our credit card for the February from Fitness for $and March for $from Fitness Since Fitness bought out Fitness 2000, both fraud charges to our credit card for February and March should be refunded by Fitness if the charges are not reversed by the credit companyFYI, all former customers of Fitness are encountering the same problems with the two gyms as we reported

This former member signed a health club agreement on 12//2013, agreed to pay $98monthly, and initialed the Auto Renewable box (see top right hand side of the agreement, seeinstructions)Member fell behind on dues mid year Aug paid $to catch up,only to fall behind again Member was stilunder contract obligation.Enclosed is a copy of original agreement.Enclosed is an accounting of monthly ledger.Enclosed are letters sent to member without response.This former member was sent to Action Collection Services on 10/27/ 15, and they notified himat that timeACS tells me that they have his debt today @ $He recently called FitnessInc., and stated that he had been contacted by ACS in 2015.This former member insisted over the phone that he cancelled this agreement, but Fitness Inc.does not have anything in writing for this requestThis is an integral part of any cancellation,and we keep recordsPlease see membership agreement page #under "Buyers Rights" forreasons to cancelFitness Incnever received anything in writing for this request, nor did hequalify in any way for cancellationThere is no reason that we would withhold a cancellationrequest, if he adhered to the contract.Fitness Incunderstands that sometimes the public does not fully understand their obligations, orhow to cancel a contractTherefore, Fitness Incoffers to settle this in full @ $175.00, if paidbefore 06/15/2016.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I would like to start with thanking you for being a valued member with us and let you know we appreciate you giving us the oppertunity to earn your businessI appologize for any miscomunication that has taken PlaceI did reply to this complaint in a tmely manner and am not sure why I received a 2nd notice to respondI sent it from my phone via emailOur memberships are set up as month to month or as a paid in fullYour memebrship is designed as the month to monthWith that being said per the monthly membership agreement/contract you signed states that you can cancel at any time with a day written noticeWe are more than happy to accept your lettere a as your day written notice however at anytime that one`s notice is given there is one more recurring monthly withdrawl to take placeHence the day noticeWe would be more than happpy to clear up the balance upon a payment of which is rightfully owed and was agreed upon when opening the membership agreementIn this case it is one more billingI hope this helps clear up any confusion that there may have beenIn the future I would reccomend popping into the facility or place of business you may have a dispute with to then directly talk with a manager or supervisorI promise I responded to this time sensative matter in a timely response initiallyHad you popped in this misunderstanding would or could have been cleared up weeks agoIf you would like to schedule a appointment to go over this matter further either in person or over the phone I am available typically Monday - Thursday 10am - 8pmYou can reach me by phone [redacted] *** I often work weekends as well however they are not set like the work week.Thank you, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.BUT, I want to know why it took the amount of effort it did in order to get the membership frozenWhy was I told it would be taken care of and then not? Why did no one from corporate contact me to tell me that it had finally been done? And why was my message read and ignored when I tried contacting again on 4/5?
